About the wheels .....
FUEL Off-Road is an American brand created back in 2009 by wheel monster MHT luxury alloys. The brand's vast collection of unique wheel designs on offer is a testament to the sheer size of MHT, each wheel specifically tailored for trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps. With each wheel being particularly open to abuse from off-road activities as well as commuting use too, FUEL carries out a detailed battery of computer simulations to ensure every design, in every size, meets their strict requirements for strength and durability. The end result means you get wheels that are most certainly not form over-function and will continue to look fantastic no matter how much dirt you chuck at them.
At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
Most things are our first go ! so remember, experts we are not ! so watch us do it wrong, so you don't have too :)
Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs )
When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?

Now the test for you - Nathan's Truck is called Murdock - this one is called Bosco (the Dr.Mad is Nath's nickname for me !) but if you can link the two names, you will be a weird one TV program nerd like me :)
Nice wheels, They are beautiful. I wish I could have them on my L200 as well. But in my country, Fuel's wheel is so expensive haha.
To be fair, they did set me back a few quid; here in Portugal, they were thousands - also BFG are stupidly expensive here - I got them from Wheelbase at under 1/2 the price that a Portuguese company were quoting - factually, I paid the same for the alloy plus BFG fitted complete as the price of just the tyre here in Portugal !
no offence... the wheels and alloys look gr8, but in this case size does matter and they need to be much bigger to match monster and best of a truck u hav there with you 👍 Again this in my opinion and again both wheel design n' alloys hav great look,
🤣 none taken, we agree ( 305 70 17's would be my first choice ) - but we are in Portugal, wheel and tyre size is on the vehicle registration card that you have to have with you at all times (or fined) and searches / checks are very regular here - to change the size, you need a certificate of conformity from the Manufacturer stating the new size is suitable - then shed loads of documentation to be completed, take for an examination (no guarantee it will pass) pay hundred's for the test etc; its an utter ball ache, takes months and costs a fortune - Portugal is a fine on sight culture, as soon as you make the car look different, expect to be stopped daily - hence why we go into town in my Mini !
