I have been looking for this tire in the USA but I can't seem to find the Pirelli P Zero Nero ALL SEASON vareity. I can only seem to find the P Zero Nero PERFORMANCE version. I also have a FIAT Abarth (US spec of course). Is there a difference between the PERFORMANCE version and the ALL SEASON version?
Not from me (I am not that bright :) ..... Key Differences: Feature P Zero Nero All Season P Zero Nero Performance Primary Focus Versatile, year-round use High-performance, sporty driving Tread Compound Softer, more durable, versatile Stickier for superior grip Handling Balanced for comfort and grip Enhanced dry/wet performance Winter Performance Suitable for light snow, cold conditions Not ideal for winter conditions Longevity Longer tread life, more durable Faster wear due to softer compound Price Typically lower Generally higher
what bout tighter spots...will it still give it a go ?
Yes, & to be fair, I can park, had a few (ie BMW 1 series & our new Smart) that are embarrassingly bad and pointless, the Mini however, dead simple to engage, fast execution of the manoeuvre and will get into some very awkward and tight spots, so I use it all the time - now having the Smart, I am surprised how much I miss it (that could be an embarrassing admission ! )
trial & error - experience can only come with practice. No such thing as time waisted when you learning from your mistakes. 👍 great video, waiting for the next one
You are spot on - thank you
I did this in about half a time of your video. Bla bla bla bla.....
This guy’s got a head so wide, Thinks he’s clever-can’t hide his pride. He’s got ideas, all so grand, But no one really understands. He talks like he’s the best in town, But his logic’s spinning round and round. We all smile, but deep inside, We know he’s just along for the ride. He’s got a big head, thinks he’s so clever, Got a big head, talking forever, Got a big head, but he’ll never, Know we’re all just humoring him together. He drops jokes that don’t quite land, Explains them twice-"Do you understand?" He’s the genius of his world, In his mind, he’s got it all unfurled. He’s solving puzzles no one asked, Flexing wisdom from his “glorious” past. We nod along, we let him shine, While trading glances down the line. He’s got a big head, thinks he’s so clever, Got a big head, talking forever, Got a big head, but he’ll never, Catch the joke-it’s now or never! Big head, oh, where’s the modesty? He claims he’s an expert, but it’s all fantasy. We’re spinning ‘round, can’t keep it together, His ego’s bigger than the weather. He’s got a big head, thinks he’s so clever, Got a big head, talking forever, Got a big head, but he’ll never, Know we’re just smiling out of pressure. Big head, oh, he’s on a roll, Telling us things we already know. We let him talk, we let him play, But oh, big head, please go away! 🎶

You are installing a positive 12V wire on the starter @3.50 ... Negative (-) is supplied via housing on the engine itself. Small wire is other positive wich comes from the ignition relay. Nice video though, keep up the good work :)
Ok, thanks 👏🏼
Great review, Thanks for talking about the cruise/self drive 👍🏼can’t use the tesla one as occasionally get phantom braking and steering me on to off ramps .
We have very little other experience to compare it too for reference, Mrs. M's VW is appalling - I am off to Porto tomorrow (so a 5 + hour drive) its just done a large update, so hope nothing's changed (not looked at the self parking, hope that has changed😂)
your view has tempted me, never driven an electric car. we have a 2 litre tdi beetle for longer journeys so range is not a problem. the new Chinese made electric mini looks hideous imo. really cheap now here in the uk. thanks for the great review.
The Mini is a top, top car - I have nothing really bad to say, for a bargain price a no brainer, really good fun and the reliability record is excellent so a safe (ish) used buy - mine feels so solid, so strong and when you trash it, does not feel like it will break - personally I I love how an ev drives, but all a personal thing.
This vehicle has 1.5 so drive setup is available on the drop down screen (swipe down from the top of the screen) You can pre set all the drive settings including adas settings Once set you can access it with a swipe and two presses
Thanks Richard
Software update 1.5 fixes the adas issues
You are right, a great revision
Thanks for the review, I like "real users reviews". But please buy a dual bluetooth microphone - the sound needs an upgrade :-)
You are right, and we have a dual set up that we were too lazy to plug in - sorry, I am ashamed :)
@@DrivenMadShow it was not my intention to cause shame 🙏🏻
Thanks for this. Some questions: - Were the suspension bolts, when attached, tightened to torque spec? - For the bushings and ball joints, did you hve to tighten it using the load of the truck?
We could not find an exact torque spec (sorry) and ball joints etc were fine on the lift, we used an axel stand a bit when needed - looked around for the torque, but cannot commit to one ( so many say different things :(
@ Got it. Thank you.
Oh poor paddy panda, a lot of pandas seem to suffer from poor reverse selection. As per your TA panda fluids video. I bought a 2 year old TA 4x4 from a Toyota/Lexus dealer. There was only 1 key and they agreed to pay for another key,so I dropped it into Fiat for the key mentioning that it ticked over badly. They spoke to the dealer who had serviced the panda with “industry standard lubricant” for the car. Fiat advised them the oil and filter needed changing urgently. When I collected the car it ticked over so smoothly. It always gets the right oil now even if it is £50.
We have a mobile expert on hand now (we always say we know naff all :) he is also an oil fanatic, telling me use the right stuff or pay the price down the line.
This is a very good car, bit of a sleeper, much better than its overhyped sister, the Volvo EX30
We looked at the Volvo and were really disappointed in the rear passenger space - plus the quality felt a level below, we were very surprised as the EX30 was our No1 before we set out to sit in them all.
Fantastic review guys!
Thank you kindly!
I love the way you slip the lower spring back on. I must try that!
More by luck than judgment :)
How has the enigmatic black paint been?
Interesting, I cannot answer that fairly, in Portugal, the dealer washes the car with a floor broom, sadly I am not kidding (Nathans Abarth, the dealer resprayed they damaged it so badly) the Mini therefore was scratched to bits when I bought it (finding an un swirled micro scratched car is almost impossible ) but the colour is awesome, pops in the sun with the blue tinge, 100% love the colour.
I noticed you have a notification in your infotainment screen and it is about the Spotify update. Did you manage to update the Spotify in your car? Because mine keeps on appearing in my notification but the moment I open the message there’s nowhere to find the update for Spotify
You are eagle eyed - the car is not here, Nathan is at home with it today, I see him tomorrow and will check - I will remember to add to this (writing a note as old and forgetful :)
@@DrivenMadShowThank you. Would be nice to know if your #1 Spotify updated. 😊
It has, we just pressed update and it did it - no clue if it did it via its online whatever internals or our wifi (as its connected I believe - sorry no expert and very hard to find that sort of information on the system) as we were parked in the mancave and its 3 feet from the router - sorry thats no help whatsoever, quick visit to the dealer ? if like us in Portugal that would be an utter waste of time :(
PS - the delay was he went to Lisbon and the car was not here (post it note on the door so I remembered :)
@@DrivenMadShowthank you for the reply. 😊 I Will check it again in the app section to see if it did update 😁
Nice honest review...thanks. I have a #1 Brabus and it's now at 31.000 km....loving it. May I ask - why dont you use Drive Setup - it sets all the important stuff, that is really annoing....really fast. My frunk holds my charging cables just fine (11kw) Shortcuts would be very nice - just imform the Smart team about this idea. There is a ShutDown buttom deep in the menu somewhere...I have seen it.
Brabus ... Nice 😍. ..... Drive setup ? we dont use it because we are stupid and do not know what it is :) - well I dont (the old near death one) car not here, Nath back tomorrow I will ask him - found the switch off bit, but its a faff (again I am old and like one touch stuff)
@@DrivenMadShow Drive Setup is a "shortcut" where you set 7 different things - like sound when you speed... First you decide what you want, and then you just acivate it when you start your drive (this takes 1 second, but you have to do it every time you start - stupid EU law) th-cam.com/video/KI1rUvax2-Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nYZhy5UIDl_A7Ssq
Turning the Overspeed Warning off got alot easier with Update 1.5.0 once you configured it once th-cam.com/video/KI1rUvax2-Y/w-d-xo.html

@@scottbrightman8571 understandable. Nobody knows why someone thought it was a good idea to hide it in a 3 layer menu...
We tested a few cars - all were much of a muchness - the ones with programmable or favoriting software are better - who thinks up this rubbish - adds a fortune to a car, for the owner just to turn it off (like stop start !) mental :(
hi there, thanks, also quite happy with my ##3. seems smart is quite visible in PT social networks: ). my mercedes dealer in Belgium is quite active in promoting the brand and after sales service seems also ok. the product is very competitive but the I think much depend on the dealer and the market. where are you in Portugal ? greetings from ericeira
We are in the sunny Algarve - the dealer here does not have a Smart salesperson at all and not super interested in the brand it appears - had one sitting in the parking area for weeks, nothing in the showroom until just before Christmas. The deals offered on the Smart site ( contract hire etc) just seem to upset or annoy them, not impressed by the price or the interest rates offered 😂
It is like the software engineers are 12 or cannot drive !
Cannot disagree - I am amazed these screens are allowed, to be honest, they take you view from the road, way too often and for too long
You mentioned a 0-60 time below 6sec if i heard correctly, miles/h or km/h? For km/h it would be a good deal faster than tested by magazines and for mp/h it would be rather slow.
Using a Draggy box, we recorded a 0-60MPH in 5.4 seconds and a 0-100kmh in 5.56 seconds. Both extremely good times. Also with two people in the car and 85% battery. Thanks for the comment 👍
MPH - used a Vbox timer (pro bit of kit a buddy brought over from the UK with him last week) they quote 6.7 as the time, so a fair bit faster than Smart suggest (in sport mode, flat road)
@@DrivenMadShow thanks, that is interesting. One of theses days i have to measure it myself. I drive mine for 1.5 years and 20tkm now, it's a nearly perfect car imo.
@@DrivenMadShow i wonder if Smart quotes the acceleration in Comfort mode. After all that is what is used for the WLTP measurements etc. and what the car has to default to when you start it up. But that would mean that the Brabus could go faster than the quoted 3.9 sec. The Brabus was actually to bonkers for my taste.
We dismissed it as we did not like the grill holes :) odd what puts you off and this one is more than rapid enough as you say
Odd. In the UK we get 2 keys. There's a 3rd party app called Hello Hashtag on the iPhone that far exceeds the standard app. It's one of the best looking EV's so far and it's very well built having taken a lot of mine apart. The things I don't like about my Brabus #1 are: The ambient light colours are very washed out. You can't do a good representation of any of the prime colours. The wireless phone charger is crap. If you have a case on your phone, charging often turns on and off and the phone gets hot. The main screen is very childish like it's designed for a pre-teen Japanese girl. It wastes an incredible amount of space, cramping important information into tiny boxes just so there's enough room for a pointless planet, a pointless fox and 1/3rd of the screen for the weather, blank space and the words "comfort mode". The software in general is very poorly thought out, poorly described and often fails to function correctly. The handles are very sensitive and often fail to retract fully. In freezing temperatures, the auto window lowering (that's required due to having a frameless doors) can stick and time-out the window. Afterwards they'll can stop working and sometimes they lift and then open themselves again.
We fully agree with the screen design, daft and pointless - first car we have had with loads of ambient light, me (the near death old one) like a dark car at night (loved my back in the day SAAB, had a button that turned every light off, bar speed if memory serves me right, might have been revs) I cannot see the light in the day, too bright at night for me, turn it right down - phone charger does not work for us either - the software is randomly turning the seat heat off and as you say, designed by people who do not drive - the fox cannot do anything worthwhile, amazes me that, voice should control everything or dont bother - handles, I just hate them, I have become a handle nerd or bore to be more precise - but Portugal has no frost luckily (why we are here) lastly, thanks for the tip on the app, shall get on that now 👏🏼
Owner reviews are the only I take note of - thanks for doing this fellas
No worries
Nice looking car - never seen one !
Better in the flesh as well
Pet mode should leave the AC on
Brain power, if only we had some - we shall try that - thank you
Ooooooh, that's better, it's been a few weeks and my ball sack was aching. Quick question, I've been looking at the #3 premium (if I can bring myself to get rid of the GR) and one thing I don't like are the wheels, now, are they just trims that can be pulled off? (Ooh errr missus) And if they are what are the wheels like underneath?
The wheels are solid - agreed, when I first looked I was not keen - we considered the Brabus for that reason alone, but I hate the two vents in the bonnet (odd what annoys :) plus the premium is quite rapid and the range is better - now (especially following) checking out from the rear, as you do, it looks quite stanced and the wheels we now really like - so no, you cannot pull one off and expose a more veined rim - we do vigorously rub the rims clean, polishing to an ecstatic climax with tons of lube on the darker ribbed sections (your welcome :)
Is that really a smart car? Looks like something out of a space film 😆 good vid chaps and nice to see you back
Time flys by, plus earning a living took over :(
Thanks. Indeed not a lot of videos for a merc
You're welcome
What do you think ? Do you recommend 0W-20 for Golf Skoda Seat or Not maybe better 5w-30 .....? Thnz
Oil is a mine field - no expert, sorry - my best suggestion (what we do) is mail a tech bod at an oil company - I ask LiquiMoly ( jakob.goeckeler@liqui-moly.de ) very knowledgeable chap
@DrivenMadShow thnx
Please continue with this video am also doing a engine swap for the Ml 270 good job guys see you on the next one please tell us the parts you need to adjust or add thank you so much
Sorry - sold it :(. (wish I had not)
This was a great video, and exactly what I needed, as I had no instruction on cutting them. Ignore the complainers. Your videos are great!
😂 water of a 🦆 - we know we are useless
Good Job.......👍
Very kind :)
Hey! Just bought the subwoofer and installed it in the plastic box, but it sounds very muffled and sounds horrible. the older subwoofer sounded much better which is very weird. Any advice?
Hi there, iam definitely no expert but have you tried switching the wired round to see if the polarity is affecting it? Do also have exactly the same subwoofer brand and model as ours in the video? I hope you can solve the issue. 🤞
What size latitude cross are they?
Our are MICHELIN 185/65R15 92T XL - for reference, in Portugal, the vehicle has licenced sizes only - so I could not fit 205/65 's as here that would be illegal on a Panda 🙈
@@DrivenMadShowdont think 205 would be better anyway. Would eat up Too much power. I forgot michelin made these in this size för kangoo 4x4 to replace michelin syncrone. Most european countries have some shitty legal issue with cars... I'm from Poland.
Great video. You have now given me the confidence to change injectors on my L200.👏🏼👍🏼
Glad I could help, if you can, anyone can :) - happy days
Honest presentation ❤
Thank you - Happy New Year from us both :)
Too much price all the cars
You are right :(. - Happy New Year from us both :)
Hello, could you send me the purchase link for this smaller washer that goes first? Here in Brazil I've never seen anyone use it, just the other 2 traditional ones.
We got it as a kit from Euro 4x4 (was an OEM Mitsubishi Part at the time) www.euro4x4parts.com/en/parts/catalog-specific/mitsubishi-l200-1996-2006-2-5tdic-diesel-k74-4x4-1996-2006/engine/injection-ignition-diesel-fuel/injector-washer-and-seal-kit?srsltid=AfmBOoruZQtg4z1YhteEmY-kCZ1ce42ns7DDHptxRs_TafgBvHNj94b8
Beans and toast???.....ohh krikey!
💨
Hi mate know this is an old video but I have a question, is the fascia absolutely necessary or can you get away with not having it
Not really, even with the facia you need to do some fettling (think thats the right phrase) - if you stuff the gap perhaps you could and just cut some foam to hide the hole (plastizote foam is top stuff)
I have just done this job on mine. I used a hydraulic press for the springs & it was easy 🤷♂️🤔 I’m glad I never watched your video first, unnecessary drama.
drama, not really - stupidity for sure 🤡
