Sounds sweet and you look super happy about the turbo noises. I hope you’re at least running the OTS stage 1+ with the intake. Our cars run funny without some sort of tune for a less restrictive intake.
Installed this (ceramic with Gtechniq and Exo), cobb aos, cly 4 and got a protune about two weeks ago. I said I was going to stay “pure” but wanted to dial the car in for overall health. I was worried the induction noise would be too loud/annoying. Between your channel and Scoobyfreak’s I made the right choice over the Big SF as its def perfect when under boost and chill when you want it. Next up, may go whiteline rear sway bar and end solid end links. Thanks for the good content 👊🏾.
Great video! I was running the BigSF intake, but it was actually too loud for my taste. Now I'm wondering if the Redline with the sound plate would better option. Removing the filter for cleaning doesn't look fun on the redline.
according to Scoobyfreak86 (my go to for "how to videos") th-cam.com/video/7nY5JHOtqV8/w-d-xo.html its suppose to be quieter than the SF. I really like, it its not loud at all. BUT, just to clean the air filter you have to take the whole intake assembly out, and disassemble it.
@@DonteTidwell Thanks for the feedback, this might be my next upgrade, Kinda sucks about having to take the whole intake assembly out though, just because it's so nice looking and I'd be paranoid of scratching it.
Ceramic coating the intake never occurred to me even once! Great idea!
Awesome video man! Well done. I plan on getting this with the next gen power package. I’m excited for it.
Oh youre gonna love it. it makes all the cool sounds
Love the vid…i traded my Wrx for an STI and can’t wait to add that CF intake. Just looks sexy when you open the hood.
