Congratulations! I already watched several videos on how to make circle skirts and yours is the only one that says we should add seam allowances. Subbed!
this is amazing i loved it,i have a sewing machine and i do quite few craft stuff but never try doing clothes,i think it might be very difficult you can make your own clothes this is awesome
I keep getting confused when you are tracing the pattern on paper, when you do the first half circle is it the waist size quartered? I just don't seem to get it.
Yeah, I was confused by that too. My waist divided by 6.28 comes to 4.45, which is too small for two pieces. I'll figure it out. But I am glad I was not the only one.
This is amazing.. My mom used to scold me when I was younger due to messing with her curtains and thats because I used them to make clothes.. Im not a pro, so most of it went to trash instead of my closet.. Lol 😜
Preciosa está falda.El color, la tela, todo. Estoy tratando de aprender a colocar zipper, aún no me sale bien pero sigo tratando. Muchas bendiciones. Que sigas siendo bendecida en Cristo.
I'm a little confused. If you are making two seams won't that make your waist opening too small? Don't you need to add 2 inches to your waist measurement for .5 inch seams?
It's because the fabric is cut on an angle it will stretch quite a bit. You can add seam allowances tho if you like you will just have to adjust later on.
@@snugglepuppydesign You're welcome dear! I hope you will check out my other sewing tutorials. I have a version of this skirt style using a jersey knit Fabrics and no zipper at all.
WHY do you pencil the hem line on one side of the tape measure and then all of a sudden switch doing that to the other side it? That makes NO sense whatsover!
I apologized for that, here I have an updated one hopefully it's much better th-cam.com/video/3Nzm6Mk1fNo/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/5DcNO7FBbew/w-d-xo.html

can you please stop using an unrelated picture as the thumbnail. Insted you could use the picture at the end of your video of your skirt. Using a picture of an other skirt is misleading and annoying and because of this I won't subscribe to your channel.
+Marie Prestegård No worries Marie it takes a lot of effort to make me angry, plus what my viewers think of my video is very important to me so I can do it better next time. Happy new year! :)

Thanks for showing. I love when girls wear circle skirts. The cutest thing a woman can wear. I also like the material the silk. You look nice.
Thank you!

Better to divide the waist number by 3.14 instead if you're working with two pieces of the skirt.
Same here, when I divide my waist by 6.28 I got 5.45 but when traced on paper and put together I could barely squeeze my head through the waist.
I love it! I would buy that. Very cute
misspetitegirl13 Aww that is so sweet. Thank you so much girly!
Could you copy the top 2 to 3 inches of the skirt pattern for a curved facing for a smooth finish at the skirt top?
Yes absolutely, I have done that before and looks great. :)
what size needle are you using?
This is amazing.. My mom used to scold me when I was younger due to messing with her curtains and thats because I used them to make clothes.. Im not a pro, so most of it went to trash instead of my closet.. Lol 😜
Hahaha! I got scolded for screwing up her machines! 😅
I’m glad I’m not the only one who put their creations in the trash☺️
How many yards of fabric did you use?
Really pretty. Yes, zippers are a nightmare!! You are a talented seamstress. :0)

using this to make a hatsune miku cosplay, I'll tell you the results when it is complete!
I won't need a zipper as I'm using this as part of a dress, the zipper goes on the vest part of the dress :3
Yay I'm glad this is helpful to you send me a picture of your completed project so I can feature your work in my channel if you like!

"prettycraftygirl" I see you have changed it now, I glad you didn't get angry or offended by my comment.

+Jo Griffiths The fabric was folded twice because my pattern is quartered.
