Have been looking for a chronograph to add to my collection, but been on the fence with what to get, loved the wearable size of the omega speedmaster but thought the origional black dial was a bit plain (even though iconic). This white dial just adds a freshness to it and pop which I love. I hope they are readily available and easy to purchase.

I did this before with some Summer Blue versions, and received offers to buy, but never went though with it. If I get the offer on this one, there's no stopping me! I love white dial watches.

I am going to be honest here, the white dial does not work as well as it does on the Speedster racing. Silver Indices in lacquer should be black, the sub dials floating with no grounding or outline get lost, and the red looks OK but not great. The Racing version of this already exists and is already better executed save for being 44 instead of 42. A 42 racing dial would have worked better.

am a huge lume person so am still saving for the planet ocean 43.5mm blue ceramic dial all sedna gold blue leather strap $30k i have 20ksaved up. am using the seamaster300 pro blk rubber strap blk dial sedna gold bezel gold buttons gold indises and hands metal case $8,300. 10k more and that gold beast is mine.
So, the things that make this watch special are a white dial and a fabricated sense of exclusivity brough by a manufactured scarcity? Cool... I would go for any of the hundreds of special editions but to each their own.

@@John-wf5if yup try it in person never rely on paper stats. A lot of ppl in this time of the internet just dismiss things outright . It also wears slimmer than my 5 digit sub. The sub feels like a brick compared to the 3861. I cannot say the same for the 1861...now, that's a big and thick one 😂.

This is the 2nd live video I saw of this watch on YT and still not feeling any enthusiasm. Perhaps if we can see one unwrapped without plastic in natural light that might look better. But so far, it's very underwhelming.
It looks nice, but it's too shiny, too blingy, too modern Rolex or Hublot. I have a 1967 and 1969 one, with matte black dial with patina. They're to die for. This white one is the same model, but entirely different in what it stands for. A Speedy is not and cannot be about luxury. So this white one is not my thing.

Agreed, the Speedy bezel is 39.7mm across, people forget the 42mm includes the crown guards
