super agree that a ceramic bezel would match the modernity of the porcelain white dial. The aluminium is more vintage and suits the black better.
went to see the white one today, I think the sunken sub dials look more prominent on the black because of how the finishing reflects light.

I have never really appreciated Omega or the Speedy and never wanted one. However when I saw this watch my interested changed completely. It is light, bright, a design statement and very attractive. It is also available almost from stock if my experience contacting a dealer or two here in France is representative. So it's a yes from me.
I think a matte ceramic bezel would look so killer. It would retain the more subtle tone of the aluminum without making it so glossy like a normal ceramic bezel is.
I always see folks that want this feature. Since the bezel is so skinny what would be the advantage of it being made of ceramic? IMO ceramic is only if you want a more glossy look and a tad bit stronger.
I got mine the other day as a walk in. I told the guy at the boutique that it was my anniversary and he sold it to me on the spot. It made my day but not the wife, lol. I’m not in love with this watch but I do understand the attraction. It’s really good looking in certain lighting condition. Is it worth 8,600 euros, that’s up to you to decide.
As a white Speedy owner who has already swapped to an aftermarket ceramic bezel and a custom-made white rubber strap (before watching this video), I share your sentiments. All your comments on the watch are pretty spot-on. Underrated channel.
I’m super impressed with the new white Speedy Oleg! But when you put the normal next to it, I realized how bloody happy I am still with my original Speedy! Oh but I’d happily buy the white dial version!🤤😍🤣👍🏼
Thanks Oleg, my first Omega was the Speedmaster but I exchange it a day late for the Seamaster 20 years ago.
You sparked my interest in the Speedmaster but at 10k I will pass since my first Speedmaster was half that price.
You can definitely swim with it
Omega states you can vigorously swim @50m depth with the speedy (just don’t use the pushers)

Looks great. Applied indices now, white dial. Manual wind. Maybe it can come down in price. I still like the Speedmaster Heritages better with the 2 sub dials. Just easier on my eyes.
The more I see this watch, the more I'm convinced it would look even better with the brushed steel bezel of the 57 'Replica'!!!

God I really want one of these! I've had my current 3572 for nearly 9 years now, after owning about a half a dozen others. This white one totally sings to me.

I tried this watch on last week the biggest letdown for me personally is how flimsy and light the bracelet is! Maybe I'm just too used to the boom proof oyster bracelet on the Daytona. But other than that it's an absolutely beautiful watch.

I like the new white dial...but I'm still holding out for a nice Alaska.
I’m probably in the minority but I wouldn’t like a ceramic bezel. I love aluminum bezels on subs and gmts and speedys. I think the ceramic is beautiful but there’s something warm and classy about the aluminum.
Regarding the white rubber strap. It would get immediately dirty. I've literally never seen anyone do a while rubber in a way that was truly durable.

Alot of things are overpriced, apple phones are also overpriced, but people buy them anyways because they like the brand and design. Omega is a prestige brand, everyone knows Omega even people who do not wear a watch. So you pay also for the brand, history and design. I think the price is fair on the upgraded sapphire sandwiches. Because it really is a great luxurious watch. My sapphire sandwich only lose 1 second every day, in a week it lost 6 sec, that is very good for the price. I know some of them lose more then others I was lucky to get one that lose less time. Also the test results on my watch from Omega showed an average of 2 sec.
No date, 50hr PR and very old design aesthetics kept me from buying the original. Even with the newer movement and nicer bracelet couldn't get my money out my wallet. Thought this white dial might get me my first modernish Omega purchase, but tried it on twice. Uninspiring, I'll let Daniel Craig and others enjoy these.
I really like it in every way. I would take it over a standard Speedy. I just never gravitate towards the standard most popular go-to anything.
Yes, a white dial submariner would be awesome. Essentially, I had that style of dive watch, from another brand, way back and it looked great. I can't imagine it would be a bad thing to have a white dial submariner as an added option.
I wonder if we will ever see a white dial Submariner.

Omega says their 50m rating means it can actually reach 50 meters of depth! You're right, there's plenty of people swimming and having showers with their Speedies...
@@francescobarbaro7114 I feel safer keeping my watches away from steam as a general rule. Overly cautious? An experienced watchmaker gave me that advice. If the case is airtight as well as watertight then steam will be no problem, but I'm not looking to put my watches to the test. Omega's assurance that 50m really means 50m is still nice, though.
Easy to say that when you don’t have one.
Wear mine swimming and zero issues. I do get the seals on all watches I wear in the water tested annually however.

Not sure what it is about this watch but the white dial looks cheap. Maybe it's the Swatch collaboration that ruins it for me but I can't help but think it looks cheaply made. I need to see one in person but doubt I would buy it. There is a ton of hype for this right now and they will sell a ton of them. I expect them to flood the used market next year at deep discounts.
