What is the purpose of Post Gain then? To sort of overdrive everything? Would I be fine if I only ever used Pre Gain, if my goal is just clarity and clean juiciness of sound?

The post gain is to raise the level of the signal after the EQ & Compression.
@@XDizzleMusic Yeah, it's just that, is it rly necessary to raise it even more, after pre-gain already made it louder.

You don’t need to.
@@XDizzleMusic I mean in the context of vocals. Since we only add stereo on vocals while mixing. In mastering it's the whole song. So a bit confused
