just sidechain everything to the kick, eq properly cutting away any unwanted/unused frequencies and put a stock soft clipper on the master.

On the slots of the track use eq 2, a proximity to increase volume and at least a reverb or some preset to get from online

This is awesome. The way you simplified it is great. It also gives a new beat maker something to grow from. I honestly just mastered a track using this exactly. I have never really mastered a track, just mix down for listening. This simple technique of mastering is exactly what I needed to build from....THANKS!! I guess your store is down? i mean its a good tutorial for beginners but if you really want to learn how to mix like the industrie does learn about compresors, all types of eq, buses and auxes , leave head room for the mastering engenier as well for vocals, panning, phasing signals ect
Yes I state in the title this is for mixing beats. Industry beat makers wouldn’t suggest everything you stated. What you are referencing are audio engineers that mix the artist vocals with the beat. Most industry beat makers do minor eq and add soft clipper and call it a day.
I have mixing templates which contain channel routing, eq side-chaining, compressing etc but in this video it’s directly for beat makers.

Depends what sound you cutting and what you are trying to achieve I guess?? But cutting 300-400 out of a piano will result in a pretty shitty sound, on the other hand , cutting from an hi hat , would be good . Depends

Interesting, I never thought to compress low and gain after but it makes way more sense. I usually gain by ctrl clicking all the mixer tracks and I think it messes with the mix

I fw this tutorial heavily, but I personally wouldnt put an EQ on after putting reverb, I like to EQ everything then put effects
Reverb can carry unwanted bass frequencies sometimes
