I think if it was mixed a little differently it would be really great here. It adds a lightness to it that I don't think is really "supposed" to be there, but hell if I don't keep coming back to this performance, the simple, stripped down Daily Show performance of Geyser, and some of the radio show performances of full sets from around the US in part because you get to hear these songs performed with a different energy each time. It's the nature of performance art.

The piano kinda ruined it because this is actually one of my favorite live of Your Best American Girl because of how soft her voice is, and also because of how the synth sounds so cool, and I really liked the texture of it along with her voice, and also how the guitar has such a range....but then the piano is just here doing its little trickle like what even was the point of it...like it felt like the piano was trying to distract from her voice, if you're gonna play piano with this song, at least go down lower
