just wanted to say how much i appreciate these videos, they are a good source of information and easy to follow/understand and have helped me a lot with my cruiser. Thank you very much for making these
I really enjoy these videos, they are so cleat & concise which make the DIY maintenance on my 105 Series so approachable. I’ve done my front hubs successfully & even though I may not need to do whats being done in this video right now, it fills me with confidence to take on the task later on knowing I have a simple reference video to get me through it. Well done & keep them coming please. I will check through your video catalog & see if you’ve checked or replaced diesel injectors, as this is one I need to tackle soon just for my own peace of mind. Valve-clearances will be another.
Great video. A tip I learned is turn the castellated nut upside down and screw back on till flush, that way they don’t explode so violently. Keep up the great videos.
By far the best and most comprehensive channel of its type. You've become my go to reference for every job I've attempted for the first time on my 105. It's been invaluable... thank you
It is currently 12:05 am having been hitting my head against the wall all evening . I was thoroughly stumped as to how to remove a stuck tie rod end. Pulling it completely out had not occured to me until I saw your video and I can now rest knowing I can get the car to the road worthy tomorrow. Thanks again.
The very best channel to watch for your LC 80/105 maintenance needs!! They have been a great help for this rookie DIYer. Much appreciated and greetings from South Africa.
Best instructional videos on youtube, thank you, massive help, no details missed and clear explanation's and tips. very timely as after 5 weeks solo journey over many passes and off road roads and tracks I developed a knock which is my front passenger side relay rod bush, so trying to decide to buy the replacement kit or upgrade my relay and tie rods to full superior specc, already have the rest underneath as Superior, I can also get a Super tie rod end kit which is cheaper, so either makes sense I guess, its a big upgrade to stock rods and bushes, but great vid as usual, awesome cheers 🤘
Thanks Paul, we appreciate your comment and hope it goes well! I'd definitely recommend getting a ball joint separator tool before you attempt it, to avoid getting stuck half way through
Great video. Did this today with my dad. Had a question tho. Aftering finishing the job we noticed the steering wheel was no longer centred. Would this be fixed with a professional wheel alignment?
Hey dude 🤙 I just replaced my relay and draglink with SE hollow bars. Relay arm went in no worries but the bloody draglink wont lift high enough to get into the knuckle end on either side due to the sway bars. Got any ideas? Ih8mud is a circlejerk atm 😂
Lift cruiser. Grab left side and right side of tire with hands and wiggle any play. The front wheel will be lose when moved side to side not top to bottom. You will see the tie rod move.
Hi Mate, I'm a bit confused by this comment - the two ends of the rod must be opposite handed, otherwise when the rod is rotated it will not extend or contract, I.e. a wheel alignment wouldn't be possible. If you have a left hand drive vehicle it's a different kit to that shown in the video, as explained in the intro of this video

Hi , how can I contact you ?
What are the symptoms of a bad tie rod end and relay rods ?
Lift cruiser. Grab left side and right side of tire with hands and wiggle any play. The front wheel will be lose when moved side to side not top to bottom. You will see the tie rod move.
H but you didn’t explain why you needed to change them out.
В моем случае у штанги резьба на обеих концах была "правая". Пришлось рулевой наконечник искать другой , тоже с правой резьбой.
