    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am only 15 but love learning more and more about mechanics everyday and think that you do an excellent job at teaching. My project at the moment is taking a wrecked 80 series body of the chassis to put another body on it that I haven’t decided what yet but can’t wait to get stuck in.
    Thank you

      Sounds great hope you document it and remember that a problem is a solution in disguise, happy to help where needed, thanks

    A jack under the tail shaft or at the front of the rear diff lets you rotate the rear axle to get the hole to line up, and get the whole thing on the angle you want and make the holes line up for those bolts

    Nicely done...what size lift are you using that you need to do that? I have the Dobinson’s 2” lift and it seems fine so far without any other modifications.

      Thanks, It is 4” so it needed a lot of correction 🤪 thanks for watching

    Great vid. Those adjustable control arms are great. Is your driveshaft out of phase?

    • @njpw1402
      @njpw1402  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I had the drive shaft lengthened and balanced thanks I hope this is what you were asking 😁

    • @Ed-sh8jt
      @Ed-sh8jt 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      why did you remove the drive shaft if you copy the length of the old trailing arm to new trailing arms nothing should have changed?

  • @Garbosgarage

    could you also just measure the angle of the flange instead of measuring the distance? This seems like it would be easy since you removed the shaft.

      Yeah that is right I did not have an angle gauge or small level as this would be great but I was not very well equipped “thanks”

    how many ugga duggas did you use when tightening the bolts? :P

    • @njpw1402
      @njpw1402  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The term ugga dugga has been mentioned so many times that I think I need to research and find an ugga dugga metre so I can give some clarity on this 🤪

    Hi bud. This is a 2yr old video I know but I have to ask WHY are you adding adjustable LCA's? You already have adjustable upper arms... So why not shorten those to raise your pinion angle?

    • @njpw1402
      @njpw1402  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No worries bro I was maintaining the compression curve in the spring whilst correcting the pinion angle
