    This was the only video that I have found that actually shows what to do for a low end derailleur (bolt mount/drop out style), thanks!

    After replacing my rear tire, I found myself bewildered as to how to reinstall the derailleur! After an exhaustive search on google and you tube, I FINALLY found this video! Apparently, this type of derailleur is the old style and all the other videos did not look like mine. Thank You for a short, and very informative video!! Problem Solved!

    I miss the good ole days when an air pump, flathead, pliers and a little grease was all we needed for tools

    3:30 Under the anchor bolt, the cable placement is INCORRECT.

    Dude, I looked at a lot of videos, and no one showed the dropout nut. I didn't know how to reinstall that,or where it went... Thank you very much. Some video are good but they don't show the hanging flywheel gear.... Thank you again.. I know it a old video but I hope he sees it...

    You don't have to cut the chain?

    • @kidstalentsdevelopingvideo6251

      there was no explanation about cutting the chain. And we did not see how it went back:) I guess he changed to a new chain but he forgot to mention it

    Really good video! Straightforward and simple :) 2 questions, at 1:49, does the dropout nut need to be as high up as possible? and when putting the derailleur cable back through the anchor bolt (3:33) the cable has to be as taut as possible right, and what gear should the bike be in whilst replacing stuff? Thank you :)

    Just remove the lower jockey pulley. No need to break chain

    • @singletona082
      @singletona082 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      THe lower jockey pully might not come out if you're tring to replace a flat face. Technically can but it rounds out quick.

    On watching your video I feel stupid because i literally threaded the chai nbackwards comapred to you and 'duuur why is there so much extra?'
    Thanks for the upload. Plenty of video on adjustment. none o nthe installation, and less on installing a claw hanger one (I upgraded from flat face to a 'proper' tourny. Because I want to put a megarange on miy bike because this one hill on my loop that is literally right after a sharp turn s othere is... NO momentum. Just 'go up.'
