I remember as an 8 year old child in Louisville, KY listening to the Mormon Choir from Salt Lake City (a super far away place). I am now 85 years young, and I still love listening to the Choir.
I thank God daily for the release of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I am now home bound and this is one thing on my daily routine that is truly uplifting to me. Thank you LDS Church for sharing this talent with us!

Abby Pøtter fundamentally, 2 conflicting religions in a house hold would fare worse than 1 religion vs an overall lack of religion in a house hold. That's all I'm really saying. Since contextually the non religious parent wouldn't be opposed to the other parent raising the children in their religion. Hope that clears it up
This is a great choir. Wish they could come to the Superdome in New Orleans and perform this during the halftime at a Saints game. This would rock the Dome!
I really Like this version of When the Saints Go Marching In. It's a real toe tapper. And I couldn't resist the urge to sing along and drum my fingers to the rhythm of it. I Like a good lively piece that gets me movin' & groovin'.

It helps keep focus on Jesus our Lord and savior on this Wonderful Celebration of Remembrance of Good Friday and how Paradise was introduced to Earth again by Jesus, on Calvary Golgotha....2003 years ago...I say all of these things in Jesus Name, Amen and Amen...
This is the best version ever. I will always find it on TH-cam, but then it will be taken off. But anyway, I love the Trombone parts as I happen to play the trombone. I even have this on my iPod. This is a very good version. Fantastic.
Listening to this makes me think of school many, many moons ago. All mothers think their little broods are as innocent as the angles in heaven, but we all know they are as saintly as the devil’s own. We were in elementary school grade 3, our teacher was an old spinster with a drinking problem, and she could throw a white board duster with the accuracy of a British national dart board champ, and her favorite expression when she ran out of patience was, ‘Glory, glory, hallelujah!’ It was that time of the year, namely term - and year-end of school, and we were kept in the warm classroom 2 seconds longer than need be. I was the class clown and was doing something stupid when she threw the board duster at me, but I was used to ducking flying objects by then, and that duster hit my best friend between the eyes. I was banned from class and could not get my report card. After my brother, a prefect, a position I could never reach in elementary school due to unlawful discrimination, begged her to give me my report card. She went into the back room, must have taken a steep sip of gin and just said, Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! I hope I don’t have to teach one of you again! She then gave my report card to my brother. Somehow after my brother told my mother what happened, I could never regain my innocence. However, this stays one of my favorite choir performances. Sweet memories of old sins!
What a great performance. We, living nearby Katwijk, at THE Netherlands have iT too in our repertoire. THE male choir Jubilate. Our Numbers are smaller, ( about 160) , but as enthousiastic as yours.
THIS!. what i want played at my funeral. not sadness in death, but joy and glory in joining with god! they played it for my dad, i want it too!
