This performance will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first Music and the Spoken Word which I was able to attend live. When I walked in to the Tabernacle prior to the broadcast, this was what the choir was rehearsing. In other words, this was the very first thing I ever heard the Tabernacle Choir sing live.
I sent this to my 3 sisters when they were alive and I am so so grateful I had that opportunity for now they are gone from this earth but not from my heart. Thank you Lord for teaching me to respond to special moments as they arise .

There's no question MTC is anamazing organization, but too many people don't give the credit it deserves. They are equally amazing IMHO.

I heard this on Classical 96.3 at work. The arranger really did a great job. I love the orchestration - especially the soaring horn/string counter-lines in the chorus. Simply exquisite.
