    This is going to be the first of MANY UE5 videos on my channel :) You should see my upcoming videos list! What part of this process are you most curious about seeing more about? Also, 5% discount to Xsens in the description if you end up grabbing their mocap tech.

      Did you know Movella increased the price for the Motion Cloud monthly subscription service to 500$ per month, without an announcement?

      What do you think about the new Motion Cloud monthly subscription price? It went up to 500$ per month in April.

    Super cool! I love your animation video projects like this one and the VFX Robot animation in Blender and Maya. I would love it if you would drop links to any tutorials you used to learn or figure out any of the steps for the whole process. I love the learning about other peoples workflows.

    I hope you make a tutorial on the whole animation workflow and techniques you used in this video. Since I'm learning UE for animation it would be really helpful for me.

    • @gabriel0451
      @gabriel0451 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would also like to see some videos that slow down the process and provide more robust tutorials. I've animated in Maya and I'm comfortable with that software but I'm having trouble importing animation, rigs and textures from Maya to Unreal Engine.

    Sorry for adding another comment; but if you have Epic’s ear, I was wondering whether they would add a button that just changes all settings to be the proper animation ones?? Seems like an obvious one, for Maya etc people jumping across. By default, so much is “wrong” - from editor preferences to Sequencer preferences (eg. people get frustrated with going into negative frame numbers on the timeline and give up, never realising theres an option to stop it - which should be on by default!)

    You can edit the shots together in unreal using a master sequence, so you don't have to spend all that time rendering coverage. Just render out the finished edit when you're done.

    • @SirWade
      @SirWade  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Very true! We were originally going to do some other stuff outside of UE (that we didn’t do) so a master sequence would have been way smarter in the end lol

    Hi does the prop tracker works without placing on hand? If you throw the weapon, will it be tracked?

    • @SirWade
      @SirWade  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Sort of, it’s separate from the hand tracker so technically yes- but the cable isn’t very long because it’s still connected to the body, so you can’t really throw it. But I did let go / pick up the prop a few times and that works

    Hey Sir, it's been really great to watch ya grow recently learning both blender and UE5. It's also great to see ya uploading videos again. This summer my goal is to get back into evniroment creation again so i can give into tackling short films as a fun hobby. I'm planning on upgrading my old 2020 laptop to a more modernized one that can handle ue5 so i can learn it more myself. since it looks like a fun tool. Any plans on making enivormental creation tutorials for ue5 beginners on the horizon?

    Prettty dope animation! do you ever cover the lightsaber niagra fx's in another video?

  • @virtualfilmer
    @virtualfilmer 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Btw my most asked question is literally just about the metahuman body rig - ie. People touch controls and the head flies off lol. They want to know how to stop breaking the body rig - ie. They want to know what each ring and shape means. And also they get confused cause in Maya it won’t let you move the head (for example) suddenly 5 feet to the right and “break” it.

    Hi Sir Wade! Cool video! Since you promote the Xsens suit, what is your opinion on their latest price hike on their motion cloud from $250 to $500? (without any notice and without any public announcement) Isn't that an information that your followers ,who you are promoting this very expensive suit, should be aware of it?

    • @SirWade
      @SirWade  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I didn’t hear about any of this until after I’d posted the video but yeah, price transparency is extremely important! Not a fan of what I’ve been hearing about all this business

      @@SirWade Really appreciate your reply! It's not often to hear back from influencers and take a stance regarding these matters.
      Xsens is an amazing product that I use my self as well. But their business model is based on bullying and sucking their customers dry and we need to stand up against these tactics.

    salve ! this is so inspiring... as execution, but as story... it is not. so my point is the movie looses some of the appeal. it is very beautiful and nicely done, but it feels just like a croissant au sorbet without sweet.
    why not use a few extra time to devise a really authentic storyline ?
    it does not need to reveal the pilot of your next game of AI thrones...
    it can be a simple new movement articulation. I get that the faceless robot saves face animation work, but think a step further: why the robot centre would create robot without face animation ? their eyes do not render in high res ?? slave robots have no emotion to communicate?? perhaps robots use only some radar... I do story development and suggest that a simple answer would make a richer story and movie without extra work. Also know that emotional narratives are reallly difficult to pull off. meanwhile, low cheers from Rio
