@@kevinunger433 No, they're both lead guitarists. In many Judas Priest songs you'll see them switch back and forth in the same song. Even in Pain Killer, the first solo was done by Glen Tipton, and the second Solo Was KK Downing.

My favourite Opeth story. A few years ago they went to a Metal radio station. The radio presenter asked them to choose a few songs. They chose a Judas Priest song. The radio presenter then actually said I’m not playing that there not Metal. So the band stud up and walked out.

Back when I had Rock Band 2 for the PS3, this song was the reason I switched from Guitar Hero. It was definitely a challenge, and one I always rose up to meet.

Great reaction- That is Glenn Tipton on the first lead, KK Downing on the 2nd lead. Rob Halford is the metal god, no one is like him. 18 albums of bliss. You need to go back and check out Victim of Changes from 1976. Try the live US festival version. You would know the radio hits- Try Youve Got Another Thing Coming.
This was and still is my morning Alarm song for the past 32 years!!! Since it was released!! I can't really understand that there are metal music fans who have no of this band and they great Heavy Metal songs!! There are two Guitarists in the video you can see KK. Downing and Glen Tipton and they always played duel solos in most of the songs.

The solo toward the end was KK Downing. It was really cool that you seemed to like & respect this song and everything you said about it was accurate. Rob Halford can sing any anything so powerfully and Glenn and KK were the f’n best guitar team. The whole band together just rocks. I bet if you had heard other songs from them it was probably Living After Midnight or You’ve Go Another Thing Comin’...

If you know of 'Breaking the law' you have probably heard Judas Priest before. Personally, I prefer 'Painkiller' and 'Demonizer'..!
From the same album you can check...OK, the entire album is amazing, my favourites are Nightcrawler, Between the hammer and the anvil, and Touch of Evil (Not the official video, they have cut it). Also, The Sentinel, The Hellion/Electric Eye, Freewheel Burning, Dreamer Deceiver or Beyond the realms of Death (with, probably Tipton´s best solo ever) are top songs.

I meanwhile own close to twenty-six thousand records of all genres and sub-genres you can think of. Doesn't make me an expert, but I sure do know what I'm talking about. Judas Priest don't have a "lead" guitarist. They have K.K. Downing (blonde guy) and Glenn Tipton) sharing solos. Singer Rob Halford, aka "the Metal God" had a range of close to six octaves without going into falsetto, so yes, the voice you hear is from the same guy. Greetings and well-wishes from Belgium. Oh, and who gives a crap if you're so-called cursing or not. Speak your mind in the words you choose. Nothing's gonna happen to you.
