Weird sounds in their songs is called (scatting). Some old 40s -50s era swing music did it Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Pearl Bailey and such. I think beat boxing is slightly different.
I miss this little era in music when all songs had a great breakdown. like limp bizkit and kid rock hahaha
