    My Chinese Qigong teacher, a famous teacher, taught that there are 4 main types of Qigong - Medical, Martial, Buddist, and Daoist. The four main components of Qigong are the breath, the body, the mind, and sometimes sound. Hao La!

    I used to breathe out when I push up my body while doing push-ups. But now I am following sifu and breathe in while pushing my body up and I found this makes the push-up easier. Thanks sifu for your good work making these videos, very much appreciated.

      You breath out whilst exerting. In case you missed it. The breath in is at the top of a push-up. Perhaps the last portion of the push as well, not starting at the bottom though. Honestly, you just need to breathe. But if you are talking difficulty...breathe in from the bottom of a push. Totally different pressure inside.

      @@billbradleymusic No, it is breath in at the top and out as you go down and in as you go up. Yes BBM you are correct about exertion but I have trained with Shifu Yanlei and the breathing on this particular movement, as well as others taught to us, were counter intuitive, i.e. reversed to the natural order. There is a lesson there, trust me, or rather trust Shifu yanlei and Shaolin and see what happens in your practice. Use your diaphragm.

    Sifu I got a problem my colon don't have the movement to push the stool once it reach the Anil it stuck seen chinese they say no energy see western prolapse rectum I did qi qong but don't know which part will strength all the nerve have sugar in the blood an hypothyroidism please show me what exercise thank you
