I love the way this looks. These aren’t colors I gravitate towards but for whatever reason this is speaking to me. I will have to change out my colors for the regular dharma colors. Maybe brazil nut imperial purple and camel. Something like that. Thanks for the inspiration.

What is the difference between using the protractor and simply folding
Time! 😂 Nothing really. If you’re a good pleater, which you are, it’s not necessary. I did find it made it easier because I didn’t have to think. Just follow the lines and voilà it’s done. ♥️🌈

Full tutorials are under the “videos” tab on my channel. I haven’t dyed anything in a year. I moved and have been building a studio for a year. It’s a long story but I got ripped off… what should have taken a week is almost finished 11 months later. 😭♥️🌈
Wow, beautiful shirt! The off color you're getting when shooting under the ring light looks like a white balance issue to me. If the camera or editing program you're using has a color correction tool, tweaking the blue-yellow white balance slightly toward yellow should make the colors a lot truer to life.
I've seen other ties dudes slide their metal rulers under the shirt to lift up their pleats and get them nice and straight.
can we make it with liquid dye ?
Sure. All patterns can be done with liquid but they will look different. Liquid is solid and ice dyeing has splits. Play around. It’s fun to try new things and find out what you like. ❤️🌈
Thank you for the detailed reply. I did two of your liquid designs and my results are just a weird mix of colors and no defined design is there not sure about my mistake but will keep trying:) i will also try ice dye to get diffused saturation and your trick might work thanks a billion
