I did the ice method a few years ago, but I put the dye onto the prepared fabric with the ice on top of it, the colours were so very crisp, I saw an American Gentleman on the tv years ago who was describing how he did it, he even managed simple pictures, it was amazing. I really love your videos, keep making them
The piece sitting in the water after the ice melts is called muck dyeing. I have seen some awesome shirts done that way. Hopefully in October i can start getting supplies to start myself. Its been calling me for months so im soaking up all the knowledge i can till then. Even practicing folding lol. Thanks for this video and the knowledge.
Thanks I just tried ice dye for the first time and I think I need more ice next time. Now I know since they’re all melted that they’re ready to rinse. I now know the others I did the rings will need to set overnight and then I’ll rinse them and since they’re all the same colors once they are all rinsing clear I can wash them all together with a color fixing solution. Thank you
Thank you for sharing. I’m going to try this. I have all the ingredients, as I’ve tie-dyed before. But this is so much simpler. And just as pretty. I knew how to do it, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks again.
WOW I am sooo happy I came across your channel kinda by accident haha! I will be binge watching your videos this weekend. I see you do work with resin...so does my daughter. She makes beautiful things also I have never done it myself but I love to learn new things.I am going to share your channel with her! I love tie dye but I havent done it in years I am going to give it a go so I really thank you for your videos I am learning so much about the whole process!
How did you wash them? Did you wash them all on their own or all at the same time? I washed 2 different colored pieces together and it dyed both of them blue 🤦🏽♂️ did I maybe not rinse them enough?
Finally!! A Clear and precise tutorial. Makes a huge difference ..Thank you
Thank you 😊

Hi,
It is amazing. Gr8 job. Why u used soda ash to soak?
Do u have any pdf for procedure and calculation for dyeing process
Thankyou, really informative
What kind of powder dye was it? All the kits are liquid.
This is great I love it
Can you please tell which colour brand you use for ice dye
Can you use natural dyes such as madder, logwood powder?
Would love to do it with plantdyes.
Do you wash it in cold water?
Where do you get a silk scarf? Should it be 100% silk?
Hi what r the dye powder u used for synthetic fabric
Thank you very muchXXXX
You’re welcome 😊
Superbe 👍👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤

Hello, thank you for the tutorial. How come the acid dye did not need to be dissolved in hot water? I am a little confused.
This dye does not need to be activated by hot water there are multiple kinds of fabric dyes out there some need hot water some don’t need it at all.
@@sherivegasartistshare dye that doesn’t need hot water pl

My hands get very sore and skin peels off when I touch soda ash…
👍😍❤️
Woahda?
please do not soak your fingers in soda ash water- its not good for you!!!
Very informational but your audio is horrendous and painful to listen to because of your voice peaking so much.
I saw this method on Crafty, but it wasn’t nowhere near as detailed this video; which you could actually learn how to make it from this video alone
Thank you. I tried to put as much detail as possible fir a beginners guide
