Put a pencil under the slack line while you are pulling the sinew taut. And this is the first Glitch that I LIKE! Yes, it has an Aztec "feel" to it. Thanks for posting this, I think I will try it now!
Oh wow, that is so Awesome 👌 I have always loved dying patterns but this is really is so inspirational can't wait to try this method. Thanks alot for sharing. Erik 🇳🇿
I've been doing glitch ice dyes with larger messy tall folds at bit of an angle and using very splitting colors like grays etc. the results have been so awesome!
I love this shirt. I also love blues and browns together. I totally see it. It looks tribal in a way. I also think it looks like a woven blanket or rug. ♥️🌈
That is a ventastic looking glitch, beautiful beautiful I made a Saint Paddy’s day one, but I definitely have to do one like this. I’m still trying once again beautiful😁✌️
This is awesome Steph. It’s so different than anything I’ve ever seen before. Snow too, which I thought was really cool. I don’t see much snow. Thanks for all you do.
FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!! You knocked this one out of the park. Even the under- saturation looks great. The cold are perfect. The result was well worth your Terra cotta hands. 😉 I absolutely love this style. Awesome job! 👌 👏🙌
I am so thankful for this tutorial Steph!! I've been working on a glitch for days now and have watched this several times at different places for help! Thanks again. Will see how well mine turns out. Hopefully as beautiful as yours!!!
I love this one too. It wasn’t in my size or else I would have kept it for sure. It was even more beautiful in person. Pictures never do the projects any justice. ♥️🌈
Amazing design! I’m going to figure out how to combine this pattern on the bottom of a dress with a ron star across the chest. I think that would be so beautiful!
Watching you with the sinew, I remember previous times you've talked about the slack lines and it occured to me that what you need is something like a sewing thimble to protect your finger. Something that you can slip in under the line, pull tight making sure you keep the slack, protect your finger and remove your finger as you tighten till your heart's content.
Ok, now I gotta try this! :) I still have some dresses to dye (found some white dresses and skirt shirt sets at Target and Walmart pretty inexpensive, so I'll have a new, unique wardrobe for the school year! (I teach art in a high school).
You did a really good job on this one. I’ve liked your previous attempts too but this one has a beautiful color palette. It looks more like Scott’s. ✌🏻
Love it!!! Can't wait to try my first glitch shirt😁 Ironically the colors you used are the exact some colors I used for some of my first ice dyed shirts!!! They are an awesome color combo & even cooler looking with the glitch technique! Hope i can do as good if a job as you did...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can😄
That's gorgeous! You make it look so easy! (Maybe the third time will be the charm for me because the first one was sad and I totally lost the plot on the 2nd 😭)
Can I please ask where did you get your gutter piece? My gutter is not flat and straight on both sides like yours but bent on one side. Great job on this one!

the colors on this are GORGEOUS! has a very Southwest Native American feel to it
Thank you. I completely agree. This pattern reminds me of a rug. 🏜️❤️🌈
I don't think I've ever been so excited to try a new pattern! I wish it was daylight so I could start NOW! Thanks so much!
I’ve jumped out of bed before to make a tie dye. 🤣 ♥️🌈 th-cam.com/video/y3t1AyTxTL4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4XdZmjjfulEshKAR
Love the colors they're so mature
You’re right! Not all tie-dye has to be bright rainbows. 😃♥️🌈
Oh wow, that is so Awesome 👌 I have always loved dying patterns but this is really is so inspirational can't wait to try this method. Thanks alot for sharing.

It’s a really unique pattern and looks good in just about any color palette. You’re very welcome. ♥️🌈
I’m amazed at how awesome this pattern looks. This is one of your best shirts yet.
My motto is An artist never has clean hands
I get that… my professional life requires clean hands. When I retire I can stop worrying about stained hands. 🫶❤️🌈
I cut the slack line...it also makes it A LOT easier to undo it when you rinse.
SPECTACULAR. I would love this in a deep side pocket 100% cotton maxi dress. It is REALLY UPscale.
That would be beautiful! This pattern is really unique and looks good in just about any color palette. It’s one of my favorites. 😁♥️🌈
I really like this shirt. It's very interesting and I WILL be trying it.
I've been doing glitch ice dyes with larger messy tall folds at bit of an angle and using very splitting colors like grays etc. the results have been so awesome!
It looks like an old checkered afgan blanket that would be on the back of a couch. 🥰 I love it!

I love this shirt. I also love blues and browns together. I totally see it. It looks tribal in a way. I also think it looks like a woven blanket or rug. ♥️🌈
