    Yes, an air fryer can be healthy, especially regarding acrylamide levels.
    Acrylamide is a chemical that forms in some foods during high-temperature cooking, like frying. It's linked to health risks. The good news? Air fryers use less oil and lower temperatures. This reduces acrylamide formation compared to deep frying.
    But here's a tip: Don't overcook your food in the air fryer. Overcooking increases acrylamide. So, keep an eye on cooking times.
    Also, pre-soaking potatoes in water for 30 minutes before air frying lowers acrylamide levels, right?
    Remember, variety in your diet is key. Air fryers are great for cutting down on oil, but balance is essential.
    Another thing: Air fryers don't just reduce acrylamide. They also help lower overall calorie intake. Using less oil means fewer calories. That's a win for healthy eating!
    Of course, what you cook matters too. Stick to fresh, whole foods. Avoid heavily processed items. This boosts the health benefits of using an air fryer.

    As a pharmacist I don't agree with her because acrylamide is formed only as a result of chemical reaction when we cook food (specially deep fry starchy food) at a very high temperature. As far as air fryer is concerned, according to recent research it actually reduces acrylamide production by 90-95%. The best way to avoid any carcinogen is to steam or boil your food because while you do so temperature doesn't exceed too much. (i.e not more than 120°).

      She is telling in a passing reference that heating beyond 200° and more than 15 minutes is harmful while most air fryers heat upto 200° max. As per chatgpt, acrylamide variation depends on type of food, temperature, duration etc. Giving general statement that air frying is harmful is a misleading statement.

    You could talk about steamed food to replace with air fried or deep fried as an option. I've been steaming fish chicken its more juicy non toxic and with better tenderness 👍

    How can you compare a smoked food with a food processed with normal hot air?
    The normal hot air never have sulphur dioxide or acrylamide etc.

    It depends how you use air fryer.you can avoid acrylamide you cook for a longer time at high heat then there is high acrylamide however, if you cook on low setting and do not let it get too brown , it is still better then deep frying and bar-b-q.

      180 degrees sy below py cook kren to acrylamide produce nhi hota. Sirf 180 degrees sy abpve temp py khany main mojoud starch or sugars apas main react kr k acrylamide bnaty hain. So i prefer cooking at 170 degrees😊

      SIMPLY apply some mustard olive or coconut oil with brush and enjoy the healthy diet meal. I think it's better replacement for ghee and oil.

      @Electronics Hobby Projects Pure Ghee is most healthy as it has a high smoking point.. so even if you cook at a moderate to high temperature, there will be no carcinogens which is not the case with any oil.
