Crispy & fast cooking dries out the living juices of the food, so how come food is healthy? Absolutely wrong information. In india people think Air fryer is just an alternative of deep frying. Usme pakode banayenge for less calories. But it is also used for baking like you do in an oven. Only difference is air fryer makes food crispier than oven. When i make potatoes or chicken in oven, although they cook perfectly but they remain soft and does not get very crispy.
Not all fat are bad like our traditional oils without any chemicals added during extraction. Ghee and butter in moderation are good. Better shun all refined oils as they are more toxic as they contain many chemicals which are carcinogenic and cause blockages in heart.
Hi Doctor...I have seen in some videos where this ACRYLAMIDE is higher in case of Air Fryer than in case of deep frying of Potatoes .That too in huge number .There suggestion was to cook at a lower Temperature which causes less ACRYLAMIDE. He is Not an expert on cooking gadgets. Find out on your own about Acrylamide. Instead of Air Fryer, that also takes away all the water/ moisture content from the food, it is better to use Cold-Pressed कच्ची घानी edible oil. Find someone in your own city who is doing this Cold-Pressed oil extraction organically without adding any chemical. You can buy Cold-Pressed Mustard, Coconut or Groundnut oil. Do Low-Oil frying and cooking. Mustard and Coconut Oils are better than the Groundnut oil with no or negligible Trans Fat.

Good explanation doc. But on flip side airfriers have nonstick coatings which at high temperatures releases toxic chemicals which are carcinogenic too. Better switch to stainless steel inner container airfriers. Very high temperatures are known to deplete nutrients and might cause cancers according to some claims.

That may be true.. But I guess the same happens with regular deep frying in oil as well.. What remains is fat, cholesterol, calories etc.. Fried food is for taste, not for nutrition.. Hence air fryer may at least cut the calories, if not keep the nutrition intact..
If people can understand the benefits of Dry Fry, they can easily avoid heart related problems to a large extent. Our cooking in oil is the major issue in increasing our heart problems. Oil free food is the need of the hour.

Air fryer has temp settings normally from 160 C to 200

Thinking same here Dr....Quest ON: Well is it ok...to burn food at such HIGH temp...? Is it not cancer prone?! There r some studies that frequently eating food cooked at extreme temp. , like shawarmas or grillls, could cause or aid cancer!.. I'm Still trying to search pros n cons...of this new fad in market. Exactly. High temperature burns out all the Nutrients. Most Indians eat for their taste buds and filling up the stomach but never bother for the Nutrients.
In most kitchens, the food is cooked by any family member at a high flame to reduce the cooking time. How many of you have ever noticed that and dared to take any objection...??!!
