- Are you struggling with impostor syndrome? I've been there! Sometimes it still affects me, but for the most part I've got it under control. In this video, I share three strategies that have helped me a lot with this. I hope these help you out too!

Interesting to think about the advice to compare oneself to others.
I think it can make sense when one is putting perfectionistic expectations on oneself, kind of in the vein of "treat yourself like you would treat a friend", remember your a human being and that's a beautiful thing.

Im in GA too. The problem i had is that even though you learn computer science, it doesnt help because the code base is entirely different like style, conventions and best practices. Learning the code base is like learning a new language. Period.

Going back to the brain zap video! I seriously thought I made that term up in my head! Glad to know I’m not crazy. How did you get over it? Hey Steph nice video! I’m currently pushing an online CS degree, I get so busy with work I feel like I can’t study/learn as much. I want to transition into the work field but i don’t even know how to solve a ticket! Can you explain or make a video on what we can expect as a first job? Like how do I solve tickets, what are they and consist of? Thank you so much! Love your videos you inspire me!

I have been in a "brain fog" lately and feel this like crazy after being baffled by the most ridiculous thing the other day. I hope that goes away once I get into software development. I have been doing IT support for the last 6 months or so and I honestly know nothing about any of the stuff I am doing. I have gotten better but sometimes I still need to ask and some of the people get angry that I am asking. But I will keep trying until I am fired or something. I am doing a bootcamp now and hoping that I can get into software as soon as possible. If not I may at least try to do freelance work on the side to get more experience at least.
Yeah.. some people don't like to teach .. it's tough when the smart people aren't really open to share anything
Going to devry for a degree in computer technology information with a study in software programming......do you think this is the right choice for a degree to be a software engineer? And is the money good?
