@@ericfrontczak8016 yeah, I like not to have to maneuver,,, I'm old just want to get in and out lie folks do in a normal truck. It's not major issue. I'm just saying it's the only issue.
I solved the seat issue by tilting it forward and raising the seat back. This pushes your weight forward just enough to relieve that issue. It takes about 5 minutes to acclimate to it in that position.
My 2023, Pro 4X, has a very large and nice compus in the info screen between the speedometer and tach. Also, the map on the 9" entertainment center has an easy to read compus My experience with the windshield washer is that it is delayed. If you spray an extra ½ second, the blades activate. I really like this delay because you actually get fluid on the glass before the blades start. Also, my Frontier doesn't automatically lock the doors. Kind of wish it did And the seat belt chime does shut off after a little time. But also, I found a link that says it can be turned off. I'll update if it works.
I actually like that about the washer fluid. There are many times in the winter where I just want to spray fluid onto an icy windshield, and let it set for a bit, before I want the wipers to remove it. It helps in de-icing the windshield. Otherwise you end up wasting far more fluid. So this can be a good thing in certain situations. Gives one more control over what they want.
Did you hold the window spray longer or only lite spray, cause I noticed on the fords if you don't hold it long enough it won't wipe or some never vehicles are like that as well have to hold it longer
I have a few Nissan Frontier's in my fleet here in ATL. First off I will agree the lack of the telescoping wheel is a huge miss! The auto high beams work the same way in a few of my personal cars. If you want to intentionally blind oncoming traffic, yes you have to switch it to manual mode. As far as the washer, I find that feature works great when you fuel up , want to squeegee the windshield and yet all you have IS the squeegee, no water or cleaner mix in the bucket. Keep in mind this truck while "redesigned" is actually riding on the older frame. Nissan did this as they are low on cash and did not want to blank slate a new truck. Remember, the older trucks had the new drive train in them 3.8L vs 4.0L . As for lifting any truck, you are on your own. Automotive engineers have Masters degrees and years of experience in designing suspensions for ride AND safety. The people who build lifts kits? Questionable. Cheers-Alina
I have a 22 SV 2wd. I like it. Drove full size tahoes, yukons and a couple of Sierras for many years. Decided to downsize. Kids grown and gone. I have no complaints with mine. You seem VERY particular. I get it. But I doubt you will ever be 100% happy with anything. Good day.
I brought a pro 4x since last November..no problem's at all !!! I've been beating the hell out of it in the shale back roads of n.w.mt everyday I have Maxed the payload out a few times driving 75/100 distance no problem... All the things you noticed/ mention.. I haven't had, put 11k miles on it so far I truly think it's the type of package that in your truck! I have a compass, windshield washer works fine. I do agree about not putting in the telescope steering wheel but I know that B4 buying . good luck with the truck in the future..p.s. about the hitch ...they designed it for departure during off roading..
The seats and the driving position on my 2016 SV 4X4 is perfect, the most comfortable of any vehicle I have ever owned. A friend bought a '16 Tacoma at the same time I got my Frontier, and he had to get a kit to raise the seat height because it was just too "carlike", according to him. All in all, I love everything about my truck.
There's a reason why people buy these trucks 1. If you've owned any Nissan before then you're in the market for it 2. I bought one of these because it does everything that I needed to do $10000 less than most of the competitors in the market ( Well equipped 4 X 4 ) On a side note if you're looking for perfection then brother you will never find it in any truck.
The windshield washer fluid function works perfect here in New England. The Frontier was my first pickup truck, and I spent a year researching which truck to buy. The Frontier met and exceeded all my expectations. I really found only one problem for me and that was the trailer hitch recess. The rear bumper interferes with my riser hitch. However, I can turn down the hitch and it works perfectly fine for my boat and trailer. I have only one trailer that sits a little low because I can't turn around the riser. I will buy another riser hitch and see if it works. The no compass doesn't bother me as I use my Iphone. I absolutely love the seats. I never thought about the High beam and the seat belt chime. I plan on keeping the stock suspension.
How does the underneath look? I seen a brand new truck on the lot and the underneath was all rusty. All the bolts were rusted too. Those trucks won’t last long in Michigan winters. It was a pass for me.
Are you from Somerset? That looks like a Somernites Cruise poster behind you at the 11:00 mark in the video. I also have that Bullitt Mustang poster and got it autographed by the guy who's family owned it (and refused to sell it to Steve McQueen).
I think some of the items you point out are on my Frontier 2022 pro-X , compass, telescoping wheel, the seat seems to be wider and fits just fine. The high beams can be shut off as well on the pro-x variant.
I've got a honda with the auto lights, you have to hold back on the low and high beam stalk for a few seconds to turn off the auto dimming feature. Maybe this will help
Just bought my 2022 Frontier 3 days ago. I love it so far but you nailed so many of the quirks. The narrow seat starts to hurt on a 2 hour drive. I had a sprained thumb, could barely steer with one hand. I couldn't find a compass either but people are saying there is one hmmm.
Wow this guy likes to complain… No vehicle will ever be perfect or apparently fit your standards. Most of these things don’t bother other people. Honestly a handful of your issues have fixes, you just didn’t put in enough time figuring things out, reading the manual or using google. I own this truck and don’t have these issues and the few things that may not be perfect I don’t make a TH-cam video about it complaining. Maybe if you could afford a more expensive truck it would meet all your desires, doubtful though.
If you get used to driving around a ranch without the seatbelt, no, people are not going to remember to put the seatbelt on as soon as you get off your property if the seatbelt warning is permanently disabled. It takes 2 seconds to pop the seatbelt on and off.
is this a canada truck? mine has none of those issues. the wipers, the compass, the auto high beams. Mine is the pro 4x. Although - coming from a 2014 Tundra - I still can't get used to the small size sitting in the seat. I'm a smaller guy too. Maybe 5'8'' 175 lbs. All the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel are terrible to try to access too.
I’ve owned a few Nissans over the years and I’m shocked to hear about the seatbelt chime, as all the models I’ve had didn’t even have one at all. Just the seatbelt light would come on but no noise. I’ve never seen a washer fluid spray without the wipers coming on in any of the vehicles I’ve owned. But I have to say it might be a good thing as you could let the soap soak and loosen the dirt or melt the ice/frost before the wipers come on. You would think there would be a compass on the navigation screen?
I have the 2022 SV model and the seatbelt chime goes off automatically. It beeps 95 times and then goes silent. Takes about about 95 seconds, which seems like a long time. Maybe he just couldn’t wait that long.
The sad thing about the issue he makes about the seatbelt chime is that no matter where he is at, be it his farm, private land, Indian reservation or a private commercial property the seat belt must be engaged before the vehicle is put in motion by law and most insurance will void any claims of injury for a passenger not properly secured by safety restraints. That is why most collectible antiques that register for road use must have compliant safety restraints installed and in use or they can not be driven period. This off-roader is a very uninformed vehicle operator. I hope he is a better off road driver than he is an informed influencer in you tube.
$35 for adjustable lower control arm cam bolts. Nissan doesn’t expect people to automatically muck with the suspension geometry. $35 isn’t difficult to deal with this. Seems pretty minor.
I got 2022 frontier last month just noticed it might have a front camera by the rear view mirror? But I don’t know if it is connected or if it even works. Only camera that works is the rear view when reversing.
I have a 22 with whatever package that puts the garage door buttons on the mirror. It also has an on / off button that turns the auto high beam low beam option off. I noticed that yours doesn't have those buttons which is weird. My biggest issue is the adaptive cruise control. It drives me nuts when a car moves out of the way and the truck wants to floor it to get back up to speed! Another thing that bothers me is if you remote start the truck, get in it and touch the gear shifter with out hitting the start button the truck just shuts off.
That seat belt chime turns itself off after you drive a minute or two while I'm 4 wheeling. Have you noticed the driver's seat is reclined after it sits all night? I thought it was my imagination until I measured it...
I thought I was going crazy at first , but yes every morning it must be adjusted. I still don't know if it is from hitting the control lever getting out....
@@cobyreid780 I finally parked the truck, got out and measured from the headrest to the top of the steering wheel. Sure enough, it moved on it's own when I measured it in the morning. Been debating taking it in to the dealer but.... Sometimes the little shit they do makes it worse.
On the driver seating room, the shiny plastic door trim protrudes out to a narrow edge. My knee goes right there. Additionally, the handle thing on the center console also is right where my knee goes. This makes the driver seating more narrow than it needs to be, and removes 2-3 inches of available space to spread your legs and rest your knees. Not a deal breaker, but they could have not added those trim pieces.
@@Smouse168 only way I've found is to replace the panel and center console with an older panel/console from an older Frontier. I found a center console piece and door panel on eBay, each for about $150. Though, after a while of driving and having installed my own little pads at the knee points, I hardly notice it now.
If I hold for a few seconds on the washing fluid lever before releasing. the wipers will automatically clean the windshield on my Nissan titan. Maybe the frontier is the same way?

I don’t see any comments about the sterring clearance, cause my frontier 22 has a very small steering clearnce any comment if you guys experience the same thing.
My wipers wipe automatically after spraying fluid. I can turn the automatic headlight dimming feature off by clicking the know past the auto setting, all the way to the on setting.
I have an SV, there’s also no way to turn off the bed light, you have to wait until it goes off. Everytime you open the door it comes on. Kinda annoying.
I think any vehicle made today has it’s pros and cons. While some of the features you described are not a big deal, if you get enough of those “little” things, you start to question what other vehicles have. I personally like the 22 Frontier over the others(GM twins, Ranger, Taco, and Gladiator). Their is a balance or trade of if you will from the others. Frontier ain’t perfect, but I still think it’s a good value and some of those little features I could easily add myself or live with without regret 👍 IMHO Looking forward to your “pros” video about the truck. Looking good 👍 Edit: if you hold the washer stalk a bit longer when you spray, it WILL wipe as well. My Honda did similar. Seat belt chime is usually a chime module that is in the fuse box area, easy to unplug the module/chime maker 😉 Certain models do have the compass.
... the windshield washer fluid not activating the wipers is a good thing when there's ice on the windshield - lets the ice start to melt without ripping the wipers apart - I love this "old" style "improvement" and it's really simple to just switch on the wipers ...
"To enable High Beam Assist, turn the headlight switch to the AUTO position. Push the headlight lever forward. A High Beam Assist indicator light will display in the instrument gauge cluster."
My 2022 frontier turns on the wipers automatically when i hit the washer. My truck has a large compass. If I go to manual mode lights I can operate the high beams myself.
You have to pull the turn signal/ headlight lever back towards you to turn the auto hi beam off. It will work even if the headlights are in "auto" mode.
My main complaint is the horrible placement of the driver seat adjustment controls. Every time I get them with my thigh and have to adjust the seat back to where I like it. And no seat memory?
How far are you bro? The controls are on the side of the seat, nowhere near the top where your legs are. Are much fat is rolling off your seat where is touches the seat controls? 😂
My ridgeline does the same thing with the wipers. I found that I have to hold the sprayer for 2-3 seconds then the wipers will go automatically 2 or 3 wipes.
I agree on the seatbelt chime for off-roading. The most annoying part for me has been the door chime that sounds when you open the door before turning the engine off.
Pull and hold windshield wiper all the way back and the wipers will activate with the sprayer. The auto high beams will deactivate if you put your lights in "on" instead of auto. To deactivate the seatbelt chime for the driver you can unplug the little white plug underneath the driver seat to deactivate it (DO NOT DO THAT FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT)
I have been viewing your videos about your nissan frontier. Seen the one with the Goodyear tires. What leveling kit did you install? Did you have it done? How did you do that if its leased? Please explain.
I think some things were incorrect. The windshield wipers will start to clean the fluid off if you hold the lever back for literally 1 second. The headlight auto brights are easily turned off by pulling back on it. The security light settings can be turned from off to 30 seconds to like 2 minutes I think. The compass feature for a S or SV would have been nice though lol. Guess I’ll have to search the sky for the sun or constellation. Also the auto lock feature on the doors can be adjusted or turned off also.
He's not holding the washer fluid down long enough for it to activate the wipers to come on. He is spraying for about a second at a time. That is not going to activate the auto wiper function.
Got a new 2023… good to know I’m not the only one who thinks this thing is quirky. I’m 61 years old, and thought my high beams didn’t work. Actually took it to the dealer. There’s an extra little twist on the control lever you need to adjust. I’ve been driving for 35 years, and never ran into a car/truck like this. All the other things being brought up: Thank you. I’m working on figuring out the shifting and acceleration. I thought I’d accidentally switched into eco mode, but this model doesn’t have different driving modes (sport, eco, etc). But, maybe I am in a manual mode? Seems like my truck got sluggish off the line and shifts much too fast, after I hit 1k miles. New subscriber.
No door lighting. At night, the interior lights are so directional, you can't see anything in the lower half of the cabin (can't even see the column options). Also, there isn't a light under the hood. Why, with how cheap the LED lighting is now, don't they have these as basic options?
Only the 2022 and up frontiers don’t when the compass and many other things. This is why I bought a 2018 pro4x instead of the new ones. Too many things changed and I just don’t know if the new ones (2022,23,24,25+) are gonna be reliable like the old ones or not
Thanks for the video but a few things I think you missed. Yes you can turn off the automatic head lights. Just pull the blinker stock towards you. Also you have to hold the whisper stock in longer to activate the wipers. Also it does have a compass. It's in the gauge cluster after audio screen.
Yes….I’m a Pro 4x owner…….most of these complaints are debunked. I think this is a very new owner, as I had the same complaints until I actually investigated closer.

The lack of telescoping steering wheel is annoying. So far, haven’t really been bothered by any of the other stuff you’ve mentioned. The transmission does seem to be indecisive at times.
I always have to adjust it too. It’s actually your thigh hitting the adjustment when getting in the truck. The placement of the seat controls are horrible.
You can pull the sound fuse to get rid of the seatbelt chime. Seatbelt extender is actually pretty clever. The chime is now due to federal regulations. Also the manual not working is not right, take that back to the dealership. You can get a compass installed in the mirror. Most car companies sell useless mud flaps, get proper aftermarket ones. The recess is so far out to increase departure angle.
I have the 2017 frontier sv 4x4 and there is no seat belt chime at all. If the belt isn't clicked there will just be a seatbelt light on the dash. Chime goes off after one mile in my 2022. Never notice issue with seat and I'm 274 pounds and 6 foot tall seems wide enough.I do however have trouble getting in without hitting my head and armrest is very low.
Lights??? Just forget about them being automatic, put them on low if you forget to low beam then it's a secondary safety measure that will do it for you if you forget. Just use them like you do in any other Truck.
Duck your head in first then slide into the seat in 6'5 and this works for me
@@ericfrontczak8016 yeah, I like not to have to maneuver,,, I'm old just want to get in and out lie folks do in a normal truck. It's not major issue. I'm just saying it's the only issue.
You can turn off the auto headlights by flicking the bright headlight twice. The 2023 has a compass
I solved the seat issue by tilting it forward and raising the seat back. This pushes your weight forward just enough to relieve that issue. It takes about 5 minutes to acclimate to it in that position.
Thanks for this video! I appreciate you and the commenters pointing out the unique / unusual features in the Frontier.
I find it kind of funny that my four-wheel drive S model 22 Frontier has blind spot monitoring but no power mirrors
I have power mirrors and no blind spot monitor sv 4x4
@@1cjs4u thats in the tech package
I would look at the base truck if it were not for that. No Power mirrors in a 2022 30K+ truck is beyond ridicules.
Lol me too but I still love my baby. She’s a good girl.
@@travelingfool9096 can confirm I have the tech package
My 2023, Pro 4X, has a very large and nice compus in the info screen between the speedometer and tach. Also, the map on the 9" entertainment center has an easy to read compus
My experience with the windshield washer is that it is delayed. If you spray an extra ½ second, the blades activate. I really like this delay because you actually get fluid on the glass before the blades start.
Also, my Frontier doesn't automatically lock the doors. Kind of wish it did
And the seat belt chime does shut off after a little time. But also, I found a link that says it can be turned off. I'll update if it works.
My 2023 Frontier doesn't automatically lock the doors. Kind of wish it did
@@paulbrown8357 Mine does
I actually like that about the washer fluid.
No this a Nissan. Not a Ho N Da car. That won't work
I have a few Nissan Frontier's in my fleet here in ATL.
Good day.
Bingo
I brought a pro 4x since last November..no problem's at all !!! I've been beating the hell out of it in the shale back roads of n.w.mt everyday I have Maxed the payload out a few times driving 75/100 distance no problem... All the things you noticed/ mention.. I haven't had, put 11k miles on it so far I truly think it's the type of package that in your truck! I have a compass, windshield washer works fine. I do agree about not putting in the telescope steering wheel but I know that B4 buying . good luck with the truck in the future..p.s. about the hitch ...they designed it for departure during off roading..
Do you have a compass?
He said he had a compass.
Reading is fundaMENTAL.
I know I’m dating myself, but I preferred the old floor buttons that controlled the high and low beams.
The manual shift mode is similar to Ram where it’s more of a “maximum gear” selection it seems.
There's a reason why people buy these trucks
1. If you've owned any Nissan before then you're in the market for it
2. I bought one of these because it does everything that I needed to do $10000 less than most of the competitors in the market
( Well equipped 4 X 4 )
On a side note if you're looking for perfection then brother you will never find it in any truck.
I like activating the wipers manually that way I can let the fluid soak on the dirt and bugs before wiping
I have a 22 Frontier SV, and my wipers come on when i hold down the spray.
None of these things are bizarre.
I think some of the items you point out are on my Frontier 2022 pro-X , compass, telescoping wheel, the seat seems to be wider and fits just fine. The high beams can be shut off as well on the pro-x variant.
I just got a pro-4 ex and no telescoping wheel. My biggest complaint.
No new Nissan Frontier has a telescoping steering wheel.
I've got a honda with the auto lights, you have to hold back on the low and high beam stalk for a few seconds to turn off the auto dimming feature. Maybe this will help
Does your driver’s seat randomly recline on its own? Mine does. 😂 Also, if you hold the washer stalk longer, it’ll turn the wipers on.
YES!!! I thought it was just me that this happened to. I’m constantly adjusting my seat when I get in.
@@Me-dl4bf Not just you. It’s a “known issue.” They do not have a fix at this time.
Everyday.😥
Mine seems to mysteriously move out of the position every now and then.
The biggest complaint I have with the washer fluid is it doesn’t have a low washer fluid light. My 2010 Silverado had that.
@ huh?
Wow this guy likes to complain… No vehicle will ever be perfect or apparently fit your standards. Most of these things don’t bother other people. Honestly a handful of your issues have fixes, you just didn’t put in enough time figuring things out, reading the manual or using google. I own this truck and don’t have these issues and the few things that may not be perfect I don’t make a TH-cam video about it complaining. Maybe if you could afford a more expensive truck it would meet all your desires, doubtful though.
You're being way too serious about this. This a very informative video and useful for people who may want to buy one. It's just fair criticism.
Pro 4x model solves some of your issues(Compass, washer fluid). If you lifted your vehicle. The OEM mud flaps will be to short.
the auto high beam assist would drive me nuts. My 2018 f150 has it but luckily there is an option to turn it off.
My window spray wipes and auto high beams turn off just fine like any other. Are you driving a pre-production press vehicle?
I’ve owned a few Nissans over the years and I’m shocked to hear about the seatbelt chime, as all the models I’ve had didn’t even have one at all. Just the seatbelt light would come on but no noise.
I’ve never seen a washer fluid spray without the wipers coming on in any of the vehicles I’ve owned. But I have to say it might be a good thing as you could let the soap soak and loosen the dirt or melt the ice/frost before the wipers come on.
You would think there would be a compass on the navigation screen?
Did he cheap out by NOT having the NAV system. Looks like it from here.
They have heard of the mystery seat reclining by itself.
Me too! Had it fixed under warranty.
I have considered removing that faux grab handle near the shifter, that is a very bad design and kills my leg.
Can these be removed?
@@Smouse168 only way I've found is to replace the panel and center console with an older panel/console from an older Frontier. I found a center console piece and door panel on eBay, each for about $150. Though, after a while of driving and having installed my own little pads at the knee points, I hardly notice it now.
@@DonDowning thanks. Yea these seem pointless. Wish they weren’t there.
Maybe not the fix your looking for, i put a piece of 3/4 pipe insulation on the handle, made it comfortable at least 😊
If I hold for a few seconds on the washing fluid lever before releasing. the wipers will automatically clean the windshield on my Nissan titan. Maybe the frontier is the same way?
My truck turns on the wipers when I spray the fluid? I have 22 pro 4x with all packages. To turn off auto brights just pull the brights back to off. They have to be pushed forward for the auto brights to work.
What I don’t like about my frontier sv model 2022 the driver seat moves out of adjustment I have to adjust it every time I get in the truck annoying
i just got the s and it’s very half assed. i have adaptive cruise control blind spot monitor but manual side mirrors, push to start but still have to unlock/lock the doors with the key and the truck bed door doesn’t lock with the rest of the doors
You got a cheaper truck , that’s why
Manual side mirrors?! The horror
My 2022 Nissan frontier SV model when pressing the windshield wiper washer lever towards you to shoot water on the windshield. It automatically makes the windshield wiper move unlike yours. I don’t know what’s wrong with your truck
I just got the 2023 model, The wipers come on when you spray water and it now has a compass.
Sounds like someone is having buyers remorse with all these nit picks 😂
Just bought a 2024 the driver seat will NOT keep its (Back position) ? ?
I thought I was going crazy at first but it seems after I Google it this has been a issue with the New model.
I don’t see any comments about the sterring clearance, cause my frontier 22 has a very small steering clearnce any comment if you guys experience the same thing.
I have a 2022 Frontier Sv4x4. I have NEVER had the windshield washer fluid not be rinsed off automatically
That seat belt chime is why I love my 18 frontier. The warning light stays on, but no chime!
Just test drove one yesterday and there is a compass on the middle display if you toggle through the menu.
My 2022 the wipers operate when I hit the washer without turning them on, there may be a setting for this.
My 07 is like that as well
My bed light switch option is on the left panel by the driver's door.

Frontier ain’t perfect, but I still think it’s a good value and some of those little features I could easily add myself or live with without regret 👍 IMHO
Looking forward to your “pros” video about the truck. Looking good 👍
Edit: if you hold the washer stalk a bit longer when you spray, it WILL wipe as well. My Honda did similar.
Seat belt chime is usually a chime module that is in the fuse box area, easy to unplug the module/chime maker 😉
Certain models do have the compass.
... the windshield washer fluid not activating the wipers is a good thing when there's ice on the windshield - lets the ice start to melt without ripping the wipers apart - I love this "old" style "improvement" and it's really simple to just switch on the wipers ...
I just got a 2023 I haven't gone through it yet. As to the compass part you can plug your phone to use your GPS. I also will keep mines stock. Thanks
Can you send a link for the seat belt extender you used to over ride the chime? There are so many on Amazon. Want to make sure I get the right one.
Just today my 2022 Frontier has been getting stuck in park? Any suggestions on how to fix this? It’s under warranty but this is frustrating me so much
You have to pull the turn signal/ headlight lever back towards you to turn the auto hi beam off. It will work even if the headlights are in "auto" mode.
I have a 2023 pro X and they change the washer thing at some point. When I hold it back, it works like every other vehicle spray spray, then wipe wipe
FYI the 13th gen f150s also do not have alignment bolts, they say the frames are so perfect that theres no need to adjust camber
My ridgeline does the same thing with the wipers. I found that I have to hold the sprayer for 2-3 seconds then the wipers will go automatically 2 or 3 wipes.
Mine has a compass feature.. thats weird. Is yours a pro4x?
If you don't like the seat or the non-telescoping steering wheel and its uncomfortable to drive, why did you buy it?
I agree on the seatbelt chime for off-roading. The most annoying part for me has been the door chime that sounds when you open the door before turning the engine off.
Pull and hold windshield wiper all the way back and the wipers will activate with the sprayer. The auto high beams will deactivate if you put your lights in "on" instead of auto. To deactivate the seatbelt chime for the driver you can unplug the little white plug underneath the driver seat to deactivate it (DO NOT DO THAT FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT)
just pull and hold the the stalk like a normal truck it will start wiping
What is the little electronic screen to the left of your dash? A tuner?
There’s something wrong with your washer fluid thing. Mine runs the wipers if I use the washer fluid
My 22 frontier activates the wipers when you spray the washer fluid.
Same
He's not holding the washer fluid down long enough for it to activate the wipers to come on. He is spraying for about a second at a time. That is not going to activate the auto wiper function.
Have one in my 2015 Rogue SL.
My 2023 the wiper fluid sprays on and the wipers come on. The 2023 has a compass
I have 2022 in the S trim level with the Technology Package. It does not have a compass in the gauge cluster. I hope this is something that Nissan could decide to activate with a software update.
*stalk
It is Dec when I’m watching this ,do you still have the Frontier? Was considering the Nissan because I don’t want to spend 70 to 90 k (here in Canada) to replace my full size truck.Narrow seats might be a dealbreaker anyway.
@@CDL62 Yes I still have it. I think the seats are plenty wide for me. I would say if your really tall the seat may not go back as far as you'd like. I'd take a trip to the dealership and sit in one. Only way to know for sure.
I've been doing a lot of driving lately and now have Bursitis in my left hip and I believe this narrow seat was the cause!
Regarding the Seat Belt Chime, you can just *unplug* the sensor under the seat.
High beam Off/on in Nissans is "Pull the lever back and forth ." And washer fluid auto wiper kicks off when you keep holding the lever for few seconds. If you use it intermittent, wiper won't work until you do it manually.
I have the 2022 nissan frontier and have no problems with wipers, i pull the handle and it starts to spray and a second later the blades come on maybe you need to go back to dealer and have it checked
The strangest thing I’ve noticed is that I constantly have to adjust my seat back. It’s always leaning farther back than when I got out of the truck.
Can you change SPLASH GAURDS?
You can pull the sound fuse to get rid of the seatbelt chime. Seatbelt extender is actually pretty clever. The chime is now due to federal regulations.
Also the manual not working is not right, take that back to the dealership.
You can get a compass installed in the mirror.
Most car companies sell useless mud flaps, get proper aftermarket ones.
The recess is so far out to increase departure angle.
I have the 2017 frontier sv 4x4 and there is no seat belt chime at all. If the belt isn't clicked there will just be a seatbelt light on the dash. The wipers also activate when you use the washer fluid. The doors don't auto lock on me ever. Of course there is no automatic headlights or auto brights features
