  • I really had a hard time with this one. The previous mechanic messed it really bad. I had to figure out his mistakes and fixed the original problem too. I hope you like it

    One hell of a tech, good diagnosis Sir. You have to be able to read your diagnostic diagrams. Always a issue when you have to come in behind another guy that doesn't know what he's doing. Excellent video, great tutorial on troubleshooting!!! Kudos Sir!!!

    I was amazed you found a problem inside the relay. I wish you showed the pig tail repair. Good video.

      My bad! I ended up splicing another pigtail didn’t record it. I was so frustrated with this truck that I just wanted to finish it. I noticed that the battery kept draining every day and the p0645 wouldn’t go away. Then I noticed that the compressor was staying on all the time. It never cycled

      Tell me about it. I spend a whole week trying to figure out what the other mechanic did wrong than what the actual problem was. I was so mad 😡 but I’m glad it happened otherwise I wouldn’t have make this video

    Thanks for the video. I have a 2015 Silverado with the same exact problem and the info you provided via the schematics was a big help. My problem was similar to yours except my wire was corroded between the pcm plug and the junction plug. Had to tear all the tape off the plugs and trace it and sure enough I found it. I cut the bad part out soldered the wire together then tube shrinked it problem solved. Shout out to you man big help, big help. Thank you!!!!

    Are you in Florida. I have a similar issue. (2019 GMC 1500 AT4) fan not coming on at stop or idle. freon good. temp operating in normal range. no blown fuses. blows cold when moving.

    Having this issue right now with a vehicle at work , gets power ground and about .5 volt of signal to the brown wires , I can manual turn the fans on with the scan tool but ac still blows hot , replaced compressor , radiator fan assembly originally came in for snapped ac drive belt replaced belt and compressor filled system and replaced hi side pressure sensor my question is if I can manually turn on the fans does this mean the signal wire is alright and don’t need to jump the harness and test the x1

    • @qj3780
      @qj3780 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      .5 volts with fans off didn’t check with them turned on manually

      @antonioaguirre6166  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      what about your high and low ac pressures? yes, if you are using the scanner and it comes on the signal wire is fine. any codes? these new vehicles have to be charge with the exact amount of freon. too much will blow hot and to low will blow hot too
