Something about this video seems off. It sounds like it is an AI generated voice, possibly even text. The pronunciations of a few critical things are awesome. There is an unusual amount of redundancy and making its point. I request that the Ater of this video be transparent about, these things. Someone who has been studying these teachings for 30 years, even if I don’t have any Bible with the teachings that are presented, if we everything it is presented like this.

The Buddha did not die in the conventional sense; rather, there are two meanings to this. Due to flaws in language translation, it’s important not to take them as one. The Buddha's teachings are distinct from other subjects. If you learn about his teachings, understand them, and practice them, you will not age or become ill; you will remain healthy and gain insight into when your death may occur. Such things are possible once you attain Nirvana. Siddhartha Gautama left home seeking to stop aging, sickness, and death. The Buddha discovered the remedy for this, and it was only after attaining enlightenment that he realized how long he had been searching for this solution in Samsara .

@@PercyJackson-e6rMm Not quite. To go on the path that Buddha showed us, we need to adopt a certain perspective. Buddhism doesn’t teach of a creator. Therefore if you believe that there’s salvation from an all powerful god, well, then you cannot follow Buddhism, because Buddhism teaches that we are the creators of our own reality (the concept of Karma etc.) However, anyone can learn the art of schooling his senses to achieve peace of mind through Buddhism.

    • @sujeevadealwis5513
      @sujeevadealwis5513 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@AM-bw7hvTruth of existence according to Buddhism, very briefly: A being (there are 32 realms of existence, some wholesome and some, not) is the aggregate of five elements: One material and four related to consciousness (mind), that we call ‘self’ but in reality there’s no entity called self; We are in an endless cycle of coming into being and ceasing to be and therefore existence is sorrowful; The cause of existence is Attachment/ Desire/Longing (on three counts- Desire for pleasures of the senses, desire for existence and desire for non-existence( the last one is connected to the goal of a true Buddhist- Nirvana); As we travel this cycle we accumulate more experiences which would keep us forever in this journey, and our actions determine the outcomes we receive. (Cause and Effect) Since our actions determine the outcomes there’s no guarantee that ‘you’ would achieve a wholesome realm always ( some unwholesome realms have life spans of eons just as some wholesome realms too, do) This is the condition of all beings in the universe. Buddhism has a solution for transcending universe which specifies a definite course of action ( which involves disciplining our speech and actions thereby paving the way for the mind towards the procedure for attaining wisdom) This is the way out- the ultimate bliss. Hope I made some sense. Buddhism is vast. You need to experience it.

I am a Buddhist. I have volunteered for 14 years for people that need help and I feel I have followed in Buddhas “ compassion” foot steps. I also know never to hang on to material possessions. Only thing I need to do now as I age is to sit and meditate. I say my prayer and my rosary but I have one more step I need to conquer and that is the meditation! I can’t sit still for a long time and I rather be helping someone who needs my help so I am sure Buddha will understand me. May Buddha bless all the Buddhists out there!

Meditation is not only sitting still with eyes closed although that is one way to meditate. Basically it is the letting go or merging of ones ego with the supreme consciousness. Your path to meditation may be to help others to merge in the action of helping, the bliss of feeling the spreading of happiness, peace, joy which in turn is seeded by the recipients into other minds. May Buddha bless all living beings.

Buddhism, for me , is the final destination of my quest for spiritual transformation. I've lived a life full of obstacles, trials and also satisfaction, love and self teaching. I always felt I was not really of this world that this place was too chaotic, and there was little room for spiritual expansion.
Yet, I thrived and experienced so much that I feel a sense of self-realization and accomplishment through my life and not in the sense of material gain but at a spiritual level.
I've been kind of ill for the past 6 months and know in my ❤, I am meant to become a Buddhist. It's something that's been in my heart for sometime now and when asked what is my " Religious belief " I've always answered " I'm a Buddhist "
I feel weak, tired but at peace in my heart, this is where I'm supposed to be . Yeshua and Budha brought me here❤ We should be grateful to both of these teachers for paving the path for us through years of research and sacrifice for us to have these knowledge available without the suffering they went through♡
May you all find your inner God and let that be thy guidance 😊

You surely have to go through suffering to really understand buddhisim and start practising what he teached mam.
Buddha found this path after he went through an existential angst which could not be quench in any paths he followed.
Then he ended up meditating to find what this reality is all about. And ended up finding it.
The frameworks which he has given through his teachings are there to take you to a path where you get this urgency to figure out this truth despite the uncertainties life throw at you.
Buddhisim is not a passive refugee rather than an active one, which keeps one on their toes and encourages one to always to stay aware of every passing interaction one has with the reality.
Nothing escapes from one's field of vision.
One is either in deep sleep or always aware.
      This is buddhisim.
Don't get trapped with romanticizing jesus Or buddha Or anyone, if you want truth.
If you need peace and a coping mechanism to keep up with this absurdity called life, then you are free to stay passive surrendering your will to a God.

Although I am not convinced why you presented this information about The Great Gautama Buddha's Parinibbana (passing away), who founded The Dharma called Buddhism, specially in English, really makes this simply presented core values of Buddha's teachings accessible to a very wide audience. It is a very commendable and meritorious deed. I read some of the previous comments and they prove it. A unique discourse (I think) by the Buddha is to value and support all other religious teachers associated with one before they found The Buddha's teaching making sense to their intellects.
Buddhism appeals to sound minds because it speaks the simple observable truth, "the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the end of suffering, and the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering", without any dogma attached to it. Practicing Buddhism teaches focusing the mind, mindfulness, equanimity, compassion, and makes one insightful. The insights can solve any and all problems with the least stress to an animate or inanimate system. Our World is now facing multiple tipping points be they moral, social, or environmental, such as an unbalanced economic system, domination by some groups, and abnormal weather patterns. Unless us humans specially ones with incredible power in their hands do something, the world might end up like in the story of Atlantis, no question about it, just a matter of a few more decades.
According to Buddhism, one life is one link in a chain of lives call Samsara. Buddhism doesn't explain the beginning of life, in other words how did the inert elements combined to make the first living carbon based organism? It is said, The Buddha preached that it is fruitless to think about the origin of life with respect to ones salvation, true enough. Another question is where are these multiple life forms originating from? Buddhism doesn't answer this question either. Is Buddhism dogmatic too? Else, are these questions not been researched enough in ancient Buddhist texts?
After a hard days work (scraping the barrel) almost had me nodding until I found this video, and it energized me to be fully awake and conscious to write this piece. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏

The Buddha is not another human being, he is a next level of all humans, that is why we called him awaken one, he does not pass away as a human being, he has completed his duty of this Samsara, and he is a king of his Kingdom, and he let others know about the secrets of this Samsara . The Buddha knows that he will pass away and he knows the exact date he wants to go, but he does not leave this world as an ordinary human being dies, it is well explained in the Tripitaka books.
I am saying this because, it is not an easy to become a Buddha,
He taught us about variation of consciousness (“Vinyanaya”, in bible we called that similar to Soul, but it is not the meaning of a Soul, it is bit different;) is produced from the tiny ant in this world, and evolution of consciousness of an Arnt, and it takes to convert millions of millions of Kalpa to be a Human Being, and the Buddha is the one who given all the secrets of this world to human being, you can read Theravada Thripitaka, and you will get an overview of the secrets he revealed to the world.
I am very happy that you all people walked out of the argument that God created this world and started looking out of the box, and reading for Buddha’s teachings. However, I have been blessed by Buddhism since my childhood.
Not only that, Maitri Bodhisattva also exist in this world. To meet him, one must do great good things to the world. He told me that he is in experiment stage of Bodhisattva and that he still has a long way to go to become a Buddha. However, I am Sri Lankan, and I am blissful to see that there are people in the world who are searching for the truth about this world.
Furthermore, Buddha given his last words, and he is blissful, because he knows there is a future Buddha, and he knew future Buddha is the best out of best, there are things that will have been happening in the future, it will have happen in Maithree Buddha's Kingdom. Speaking of the topic, Gauthama Buddha taught us to do good things, even you feel it , AND it is the right thing to do , and it is not harm to anybody, and human beings are also appreciated it, For an example "Charity".
The things will give you calm happiness to your life, not sex related, not drugs related, it is a calm happiness.
Thanks for reading :) See later.

    Ramesh.

Events during that 10 months are interesting and important. His last words are most important advice to all. “ Don’t forget to continue self awareness without a gap”.

Buddha's teachings fascinated me from childhood.... I started meditation at the age of 15 in Sri Lanka. At 80, I could meditate every wakeful hour if needed and control my emotions without going into depression or other mind conundrums. The use of meditation is fascinating in controlling emotion which plague old age????
You need to understand happiness and sadness are foolish states of mind, a manifestation of impermanence of all things and events in the universe. If you seek happiness in material things... impermanence will see to it that sadness is not far behind (little Buddhism for you) ???

I'm 82 now and I am acutely aware of my mortality. I am learning that deep meditation prepares us for our inevitable death. Getting shaktipat from a fully realized MAster is key to the awakening and activation of the the sacred Kundalini Shakti. It is said, "When the student is ready, the Guru will appear." It happened exactly this way for me.

17:51 The Buddha’s final teachings are not only a spiritual legacy but also a profound lesson on acceptance, mindfulness, and understanding the impermanent nature of life. His calm demeanor in the face of death inspires us to live and die with equanimity, free from attachment and fear. In his final moments, the Buddha reminded everyone of the importance of practice and enlightenment, emphasizing that death is just a stage, a natural continuation in the cycle of existence. His words remain significant to this day, serving as a guiding light for people to overcome suffering and find peace in life.

A similar stories occurred with the Last Prophet of Islam also, both stories are very interesting indeed ! May Heaven bless them both !

I learnt from Buddha's teaching that our life is impermanent and everything will pass . I would strive to live my life in virtue with compassion and kindness toward all humans, animals, birds, other unknown creations that exist on earth as well as in the cosmos. I will try not to attach myself to any worldly goals. Every thing is impermament. We are on a journey toward some place that we cannot imagine. I don't know where i go after my earthly existence. Buddhism provides no clue. Do we just exist in spirit? Budhism leaves us wondering!!!

A very good approach and a description indeed, but a few points that could be misunderstood by the readers!
    1. As you correctly mentioned the Bud+dha attained Parinirwana , which means 'NO DEATH, NO REBIRTH', So he never died .People of other religense are unable to ACCEPT, ADMIT, OR UNDERSTAND this truth.
    2. Bud+dha taught of Samma Samadhi, which seem to be very close to the MINDFULNESS present day talked in west and even in Sri lanka, but of a different context. We were asked to practise Samma Sathi in order to desolve SANKARA (The most bad element).
    3. According to some HE has asked not to give the rest of that food to anyone but to bury it underground. Means he knew it was poison but he did not blame the giver.
May you live long! And attaine nibbana one day. Thanks.

Buddha's mind has no limitations and is free even from the concepts of being free from limitations. Buddha lives in the consciousness of all living beings. A mind without boundaries, free of anger, greed and delusion he is truly free as all beings should be. May all beings be free, compassionate, wise and find Nirvana within.
