Super helpful! I managed to crack the original tubing when replacing the inlet valve and learning that it was attached to a replaceable tank was a life saver! I was able to install the replacement tank/tubing this evening and it works perfectly -Thanks!

Nice ge refrigerator repair video. Very clear instructions. I was mainly looking for info on whether the styrofoam around the tank inside was packaging or insulation. Glad I didn’t throw it out.

Original tubing had a crack. When depressing the water on front door, the unit would leak inside fridge. Followed these instructions precisely. Now, water pump does not come on at all. No sound, no water dispensed, nothing. Ideas?

I need to replace the line from the bottom connector up through to the waterspout outlet. It is on a vintage 1991 ge TFX27FMA side by side. Having a hard time finding that one.
Will attempt to install myself. Sears appliance repair quoted me $622 for the piece and repair. Already spent $100 for the quote. Ordered this part for $35. Hopefully this is as easy as it looks

This video helped me a lot BUT!!!!!!! Don't forget to take the plugs out of new tubes before installing. If they have them.
