I can not begin to thank you enough for not once, but TWICE I found the most informative videos with VERY specific instructions in how to replace the water tank assembly, as well as replacing the little metal "T" drain clip to the enclosed condenser. Hallelujah!!!! No more blasted water dripping or freezing up!! THANK YOU!!

My water tank assembly appeared dirty, to which I had no idea where to even begin an attempt to clean it. I went browsing TH-cam and found your video and although different models, the fundamentals were the same and with your tutorial, I managed to remove, clean and replace our Samsung fridge's water tank with little to no fuss.
Thank you, your video tutorial was very easy to understand and follow.
    Cheers from Australia
    Rob

Outstanding video. I ordered a similar part from your website that is the entire water tank assembly--tank, heater, and holder already assembled as a unit. So I was able to skip the part about swapping the old water tank with the new one--I just needed to swap out the entire assembly. I did learn that having a magnetized screwdriver is very handy for getting the left side screw in for mounting the water tank assembly to the inside of the fridge. Otherwise it lays in the hole crossways and is hard to get started.

Great video! I’m getting tiny flakes in my water output even with a new filter. I suspect the water tanks are slowly disintegrating from the city water that had tiny bits of chlorine.

One of my water tanks was cracked, I think it froze & busted but I’m not exactly sure why it cracked. Instead of doing what you have done, since I didn’t have the water tank assembly I used just one of the tanks. So far it appears to be working with just one tank. If I had the water tank assembly I’d fixed it as you’ve shown. But since I didn’t have the assembly I fixed it the best I knew how with what I had. Your help on another video showing how to remove the water hose after I removed the blue clip to use a 3/8 “ wrench was a life saver as I could not figure out how to remove the water lines from the tank. I just rigged it up with one tank instead of 2. If your reading this do you think using just 1 tank will work without any problems? It is giving me water just fine . I haven’t had it fixed long enough to know if It’s making ice correctly but since it’s giving me water I hope it’s all good. Thank you so very much your videos was a life saver. 🙏🍀

Our tanks are fine, however there is a leak in the hose connecting the two tanks. Can we purchase just that connector or replace that piece of tubing?

I agree, awesome, I could not find any info showing where the water tank is much less how to remove it. Thank You !!

Why do you suspect my brand new water valve is not filling the water reservoir? Excellent water pressure from the wall. Excellent pressure from the water valve to the water filter. Excellent pressure in the return line from the water filter to the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is filling the freezer for ice cubes but the water valve is not filling the reservoir. Water is pressed but no water dispensed. However, I can hear it churning for ice. Crushed selection does not give any crushed ice but it dispenses cubed. Cubed gives cubed. Could the main board be malfunctioning?

Would a leaking tank be causing water under my deli drawer and slow water/ice production? I tried the defrost drain tube procedure and even did a full manual defrost. Ice maker came back strong but 2 days later it was slow and water was collecting under the deli tray again. Frustrating!

Would love an answer to this - I have the same problem. Hoping replacing this whole assembly w/ heater fixes both issues..

It could be the condisation drain freezing up or the drain tube being clogged. there is a fix for the heater heat sink issue causing the drain to freeze up.

The hose to the water valve was getting stuck on some sort of lip in the conduit path. So I had to push the lower hose up from the bottom. FYI

Can someone tell me the exact problem this does cause I just got this fridge and they say this the only part it needs told me not to use the water dispenser cause it will leak inside. And gave me this part number. I just want to make sure this part will fix the problem I'm having.
