- Here is my mini adventure to Isle of Skye, didn't stay as long as I was hoping but was still a nice experience and learnt to definitely go back next time with a vehicle or be prepared to hike lots!
I really enjoyed my time there and was crazy finally experiencing hitch hiking which I found quite challenging and embarrassing at the start. I cannot wait to return back and see more of the island again, I was lucky enough to do a whole loop of the island last year which I've actually done a video on.
I hope you enjoyed! Take care x

Thank you so much :)
You prolly dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me atm you can stream all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother recently :)
@Jabari Ulises yup, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :)
Hi Becks. Some of those beaches on the approach to Mallaig at Arisaig & Morar are beautiful. I visited the leather shop when me & my daughter were on a road trip in 2019. Take care when hitching mate & if I ever see you in the highlands I'll stop & take you anywhere you want to go ! Loved your Scottish videos xx
Yes they are gorgeous! The leather shop is lovely, couldn't resist buying some goodies. I bet the road trip was so nice with your daughter. Aw thank you, that's very kind :) take care
Beautiful area and sandy beach. Brave to venture into that cold water for a swim. I got chilled just watching. Love the way you sanded thanks 4 watching. Another beautifully created adventure video. Stay safe and have a super wonderful day.
You have such a beautiful smile, when you smile is like when the sun appears after it rains!
Ah great stuff to watch on a Sunday night, what a beautiful place it is....thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Wow Becky, is an amazing video 👍, the truth is that you always surprise me with the content of your videos, good job like always ...
Another great video Becky, that little beach you camped on looked beaut. Stunning scenery all around. Look forward to your next adventure.
Aw thank you Adrian :)
I can see why you have so many subs , really good content and very natural. One of the best on TH-cam young lass.
Your doing so well on your adventures Becky. I can see that your loving it and in your element keep going forward and follow your dreams and hearts desires. If you ever want to rough it you can come back here.x take care and stay safe xx
Love your giggle! The slow pace of your films is great. Wild camping and exploration isnt fast paced. I was on Skye 2nd week of Sept. that looks the weather we got on our 1st 2 days then it went very sunny ( did a few films too ). Hopefully you can get back and see more!
Your enthusiasm for the outdoors and the lively presentation make these videos compelling viewing and that beautiful, uplifting smile of yours 😊 is totally infectious😊.
It's been great following you around Scotland 👍
I love it. We have the same backpack, and it is a beautiful pack. We have a bunch of other similar items as well. But I just wanted to tell you that you’re an amazing person who was raised well. So inspiring.
You are so lucky you get to travel around the world and explore all kinds of wilderness I need to start getting back out in the woods and join the outdoors but thanks for putting out amazing videos though I enjoy watching them when I get time
Thank you for your comment Brian :)
Hitch-hiking! I used to see quite a lot of it in Scotland and I have picked up some interesting people. Also memorable the other way round. I once thumbed a lift at the road junction in Tyndrum because my walk over Ben Lui and its three neighbours had taken me about six miles from my car. The first car stopped. It was a new Jag driven by a businessman who lived in Oban. He said he had been to a very boring meeting in Edinburgh and he would rather have been up a hill. It was all too short a ride cosseted by comfortable leather and wood.
I haven't picked up a hitch for over a year. The last time was on a drive back to my home after a day on Exmoor. At Wiveliscombe I saw an old man at the bus stop looking doubtfully at the timetable. We don't really have evening buses in this part of the world. Because it was after half past five and getting dark, I stopped and called out to him, asking if he wanted a lift. So I took him back to Taunton.
I love Mora sands, I've kayaked from the beach around the coast and it's the most beautiful place to be. It's also very nice at Loch Mora just around the corner from where you camped, another great kayaking spot.
Keep safe and happy camping!!
I'm going to enjoy this one especially. Did more walking on Skye than any other vacation. I am enjoying all of these. .... There was a great transport option in Broadford, a post bus. It does the rural postal deliveries and is a small van with a couple seats in the back . You can get from Broadford south to Elgol while it goes all over the place , and had a great diver with local history knowledge and who found me a place to stay for the night. All for a fraction of the cost of a regular coach. If it still runs then I highly reccommend it. There were 3 other people on it, a single and a couple, and all 4 of us were from Canada. Complete coincidence.
Another enjoyable video, probably the last time myself and one of my brothers went camping together was at morar the train stop before mallaig, we spent a couple of days camping around that area, sitting on the beach with a carry out with some food, mostly in the rain, but it was a greatly enjoyable time, food and beer never quite tastes as good as it does while your away roughing it a bit, sadly he passed away a few years ago now and i do miss the times we spent wandering, camping, photographing, drinkinking and just enjoying being out and about in sunny (but mostly rainy) scotland. Take care and keep enjoying your travels, cheers.
Thank you Stu, aw love that, great memories. Sad to hear that he passed away, you must be gutted to have lost a good outdoor mate! Cheers and take care
Hi, Becka every time I follow your channel I always get something tugging on my heartstrings I love Scotland cant wait to get back up there...even in the rain... I and my Dad made a canoe from a kit...and I had a lot of fun with it..watching the white water guys was awesome, to bloody cold even for me!!!1
Spent two weeks every summer holiday from school with my Granny and Grandad...so many happy memories.
I am so homesick...thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
On my bucket list wild camping on Skye.

You just amaze me sometimes. I have wanted to go to Skye for years, you just woke up one day and went, I take my hat off to you.
aw thank you Grahame, wish I was there longer..
@@GirlOutdoors I want to do photography there so I know what you mean one or two days would not be enough.
I love your channel. Inspiring everyone to get out in nature and find themselves at the same time. I enjoy camping in my van so I’m not as hardcore as you! However I’m just about to buy a Casstrom & have a nice camp axe on the way for a bit of bush craft & outdoor cooking. Thanks Becky
Hey I remember in one of your earlier traveling videos you wore a small daypack backwards along with your main pack there's several methods that allow you to connect and hang the daypack in front off the main straps that allow quick access or release and balances your load .
Yes that was last year, became a bit of a pain in the end and didn't really sit right so don't think I could walk that far with it.. but was handy for grabbing my camera and that :)
Great upload Becky have a lovely trip 👍🏴
Becky, what lovely memories of wild camping in awesome places, varied weather and wonderful people. Nearly 40 years ago, I got a fairly cheap open return train ticket to Mallaig from my then home in S. Wales. We broke the journey in Bridge of Orchy and walked to Glen Etive, the Kingshouse, then crossed Rannoch Moor to Rannoch Station. As the weather was so bad, we continued north via train, using the same ticket. From Morar, (your sandy beach?) near Mallaig, we backpacked inland around some of Loch Morar and Loch Nevis. There's a tiny ferry that serves communities around Loch Nevis, including Inverie on the remote Knoydart peninsula. That ferry got us back to Mallaig, a B&B, a hot shower and the train home. But I digress....
The real reason why I'm rambling on about this is to suggest you continue to make the most of public transport (which is generally better now in Scotland than it was in my time).
Hitch-hiking is risky. You are throwing a dice. I hitched hundreds of miles each year as a student in the UK and Europe. Most people, most of the time were wonderful, interesting people, keen to chat and help you on your way. And I was big and ugly then 🙂.
In the 1970s I wrote an article for the Backpacker's Club magazine, all about how easy it was to hitch-hike your way to your favourite walking/camping destination. Eric Gurney, the club's founder and secretary, politely declined to publish the article because, in his day job, he'd found that there were dangerous people in the world "just looking". He didn't want us to encourage anyone to hitch hike. I thought, perhaps, that he was a policeman. I later heard he was a pathologist, who'd had to deal with some of the most aweful crimes of that era.
Of course, the world is full of risks, and we must each decide what is acceptable, otherwise we'd never leave home. My kids have travelled solo, far and wide, to wild places and cosy places, challenged themselves, survived and thrived, (I think) without hitch-hiking. So please, stay safe, Becky, we really want to see your next adventures!
The White Sands of Morar - stunning! :)
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
beautiful places, i also love to swim when it's raining and cold it's an adventure on its own ♡
I first discovered the west coast of Scotland in 1985. It’s an amazing place. Been visiting Skye several times a year so since 2008 but can’t get there now due to Covid 😩. You’re an inspiration, girl🙏🏻 even to an old duffer like me. Love your spirit and enthusiasm 👍😎 ATB - Dave
Aw thank you so much Dave! Bet it was nicer back in 2008 :)

Yesss would love that! Thank you so much, take care :)
Love me a good ferry ride. Great video. I'm gonna watch it again.
aw thank you Stephen :)
You are so brave hitch hiking , I think I've watched too many crime documentaries to do it, saying that I'd not pick up one either, knowing my luck I'd pick up a serial killer 😅. Lovely filming & editing Becki, thanks for sharing x
Amazing, I’m glad you had a nice visit to our wee country. Seeing a young lady like yourself getting out there will be a great inspiration to others, bravo 👏👏👏. Oh and my daughter and I camped at the exact same spot in Glen Etive in September
Besides wild washing I am an advocate of the New Year's Day Dip. The Western Isles by sea kayak next year, God willing. My Imray charts are all over my sitting room floor. Take care. 🌹
Ah love that, take care Barrie
Love the way you're loving Scotland. You will travel far and wide in your life, and see some amazing things (especially if you hitch hike😬).... but Scotland will never leave you. Made my first solo hiking trip to the Highlands when I was 21. Been to every single one of the world's 197 countries since then. Still never found any place like Scotland. Not many, anyway! Thanks for the videos (again😁).
Thank you! Ah wow,, thats amazing. Bet you've got some stories :) I really wan to travel but its quite difficult at the moment, that's why I'm glad Scotland is pretty much on my door step :)
Love it. Can't wait for more.😁

Scotland has that effect 🏴💜
Thank you, I agree with you :)
Funny- imaging being a scrappy piece of fallen tree, & being described as 'not being worth burning'.. Then like a baby, the stick looks up to its parent tree, asking, 'mom, what does she mean by that ?' We are such strange creatures !
Amazing video, cheers from México
So still that morning after your swim 🧡❄️💙
