That noise at the start wasn't a stag, it was me wailing that this series is over. It has been a fantastic series, beautifully filmed & edited. I've done multi day trips with heavy pack so I take my hat off to your physical & mental endurance & still managed to look beautiful throughout. So proud of you Becks as I bet your family are xx
Absolutely inspirational Becky. I'm nearing 67 and I'm so pleased that there is a new generation that enjoys our beautiful country and all that it has to offer those that have the senses to feel it x
Here here! I'm two decades behind you Phil & I too am happy to see younger folk enjoying wild camping and sticking to the leave no trace principles. I was doing this back in the 1980s and the equipment has improved such a long way, although interestingly, a good 4 season, 1 man tent is still extremely similar in design and weight to the one I bought for £110, 33 years ago :)
Watched the whole thing from beginning to end, and loved every moment! You have so much charisma, enthusiasm and joy in what you’re doing! I can’t wait for your next adventure. Being in a wheelchair, I can’t hope to emulate what you’ve done, so I just have to experience it vicariously, through you! Thank you Becky, you’re brilliant!
I’m also a wheelchair user and I get tips from shows like yours to see where It might be possible to go thanks, keep safe and keep the videos coming 👍🏻
You are simply AMAZING! What an accomplishment! How could you ever doubt yourself again?! Regardless of the ups and downs, you always talk of how stunning life is if we are willing to live our dreams. You have thousands of admirers around the world. Please, never doubt yourself. You are already far more accomplished than zillions of people who have doctorate degrees ... in whatever. You teach us by your determination, kindness, appreciation, and never-give-up attitude. You're definitely doing something right!!!!
I agree and couldn't of said it better! Great comment. It's fun to read through some of the comments and see that people can be so inspired and that the world has some bright spots in it.
My dearest congratulations for these video series. They summarise perfectly what trekking and hiking means and you were able to show it brilliantly. You carry the explorer spirit and hopefully thousands of people will be touched by these videos.
Inspirational stuff Becky, not just this trail but following your heart and building up your channel. I’ve no idea about the economics of developing a TH-cam business, but I’m sure it’s not easy and I expect and hope you’ve got to the point where this could give you a living. I really like that your vlogs come across so real and honest. I never get the impression that any of your content is aimed at enticing subs. I really think you should feel very proud of everything you’ve achieved.
Wonderful journey Becky. Certainly one of the most, challenging, if not the most challenging walks in the UK. Your completion of this walk and the compelling quality of your content is, like Haze Outdoors and Hounds of Howgate a true inspiration to us all. A journey that is too severe and challenging for some ( including myself) but there are many long distance walks in the country that can become our own Cape Wrath trail and get us out into the great outdoors. Keep making quality uploads of your adventures Becky, and we'll keep watching and enjoying them. Pete x
I know I'm late but I just found the channel. I just wanted to say thanks for the daily map updates. They added a lot and took away the frustration of watching a video and having no clue as to where it was taking place. Perhaps not a big deal for everyone but being able to follow along added a lot. So Thanks!
Becky, I have really enjoyed watching the Cape Wrath Trail videos and not only is this an epic achievement, but you do it with such a positive and cheerful demeanour, it is truly inspirational. As a Scot for whom a 230 yard hike would be quite an adventure, you have demonstrated what is possible with sheer willpower and determination, no matter how harsh the conditions you face. Keep the videos coming and I am looking forward to following your next adventure, wherever that may be. Best wishes, David
Well done Becky!!! You hiked it solo, just because you had others that joined you for a time does not change the fact that you were essentially hiking by yourself. It takes a special person who can accept and face the difficulties of such a trail on their own. Now to plan your next adventure, looking forward to seeing what you get up to.
Well done Becky, a tremendous achievement in every way. You've either done it or you haven't & you've showed the world what you're made of all right. Your cheery youthful spirit & tenacity are a pleasure to see. There's not a thing on the telly to match this, You have a bright future in your chosen career & we applaud you.
Ohhh, what can I say, it was truly epic journey. Thank you so much for taking me with you, I enjoyed every your step, Becky at the end, you put tears in my eyes. Honey, I can't believe you actually went in the cold water ...., I think I had "goosebumps" just looking at you .... Congratulations ! I wish you good luck in your next fantastic hikes.
Fantasic achievement and great videos. For someone who can no longer walk due to ill health and are now wheelchair bound. Watching your journey has created such a boost for my mental health. Thank you for sharing and the Scottish highlands are such a magical and awesome place to be. Well done and should be really proud of yourself
Atta gal! A vary enjoyable time watching your videos. Thanks for sharing. You a beautiful young gal! Hope to see more adventures with you. Dan in Longview, Washington USA I’m 74 years old, and backpacked in my younger day.
Well done lass your such a brave lass doing all those miles on your own, your a real trooper love your videos also your dad and mum in there Bush tucker trails 👣 well done super family great content 👍 🏴🇬🇧🏴💙
Becky... this was a super epic journey you managed and glad we were all able to join you for it. You may not have noticed during your trek but the camera doesn't lie. All of the while you were walking the entire trail, as you passed, the flowers began to bloom behind you. The fish started spawning and the deer were breeding. Like a ray of sunshine on the darkest day. Truly an angel sent from above! So freaking amazingly beautiful. Super love and blessings from Ontario Canada! I love you!
Loved the series. How you can manage to smile with such blisters is beyond me. I'd be scowling at everything. Reminded me of the many long-distance walks I did a while back. I never camped or anything; just B&Bs or hotels. Try the St Cuthbert's Way, which ends on the island of Lindisfarne. That first view of the sea is guaranteed to bring tears. Take care.
appreciated the hike beginning to end; your attitude and sense of adventure are to be applauded! Liked the scenery; remember the constantly changing weather in Scotland; nice to see those stags on the ridge; the rainbow and your cheerful smiling commentary, thanks
Well done Becky, what an achievement and the best series on the CWT I have found. The way you cope with the weather, navigation and decision making does you credit. Your videos will be a great help for my planned CWT in the next year or so when I attempt it for my retirement celebration. Take care.
Camped next to the sheep pen at Sandwood Bay with my then thirteen years old son about thirteen years ago, It was sunny but very windy when we arrived it was awesome on the beach then had to run for the tent as a storm rolled in! Great achievement that you will always regard with pride and forget all the pain!
Congrats on finishing the trail and filming a fantastic series. The longest trail I've hiked was 3 days, so I can't imagine hiking for weeks, especially during the inclement weather you experienced. Absolutely amazing perseverance! Your positivity is infectious and that smile radiant. :)
Thank you so much for letting us walk with you on this incredible adventure. The videos, the shots and videos editing , it’s a lot of work, thank you. Everything was so perfect. Congratulation !!
What a journey, it was a real treat every few days to see your progress, I reckon you will have inspired a lot of people to get outdoors and see a wee bit more of our beautiful landscape and for that you should be really proud. Good luck and I look forward to your next adventure. Thanks.
Inspirational and beautiful! Definitely going on my bucket list. Like all good series, it left the viewer desperate for more. Can't wait for the next notification. Good work Girl Outdoors!
Glorious. Becky would say lush. Becky reminds me of my quests to the dark realms. It is so refreshing to look at life through becky's eyes. I feel that by watching Becky, i gain a better perspective on my life. Somehow Becky puts me in my rightful place, bettering my outlook on life. I think i owe a debt of gratitude.
Massive respect for completing it and also for creating a compelling series to watch. The combination of your dialogue from the guide book and cutting in your sequences was brilliant production. Just going to watch the overview. Nice one
Thank you for posting this video. Brought back memories of 1979 when a group of us from I M Marsh (Liverpool University) camped at Sandwood bay (pretending to be doing some field studies) for 2 weeks. Some of us climbed that sea stack, with a Tyrolean traverse over the sea approach. We paddled kayaks into the beach from Kinlochbervie, but had to carry them out overland due to bad weather, lol. Thanks again for sharing.
I have enjoyed every moment of your adventure and reading the page from the guidebook summed it so well. Your filming has been awesome and you have created a beautifuly crafted adventure video of the Cape Wrath Way.
WELL DONE BECKS..!!!! You should be very proud of yourself. Cos I'm proud of you. I've watched you since you started you tube, never thought I'd see you do this when you were falling out of your inflatable canoe..!! lol. Best series you've done yet Becks. You are a true ambassador for the outdoors. Keep up the good work xxxx
Well done Girl Outdoors. Super effort. I live in the North Highlands and know the ground you’ve covered well. Not easy country to cross with a large pack. 👏
Congratulations on a fantastic achievement! I watched every video from beginning to end. Your videos are beautifully made and edited and I know how hard it is to get such great footage while tackling a difficult trail. Your fearlessness and good spirit are contagious. I can see why everyone you meet on the trail adores you!
As a new hiker looking for inspiration I came across your channel and it is just fantastic to see what you have achieved and accomplished, all with a beautiful smile and such love for what you do!! You have inspired me to push myself more to feel what the wilderness gives us !! Well done girl ….Absolutely incredible!!!!
Was a pleasure to watch I just saw your 10k video from 3 years ago, you've added a few more since then 😃👍 great how your family had cared and supported you spot on
Like the others I watched every minute, well done you beautiful young lady. Can’t wait for your next adventure, you are an inspiration. Hope you are now well rested. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. ❤️

OMG Becky that was absolutely awesome watching you complete what is obviously a very serious undertaking. You are an inspiration, bringing joy and such enthusiasm through your infectiously charismatic delivery!! Can't wait to see what you tackle next. Brilliant!!
EPIC! Well done Becky, what an achievement. I'm so glad your video popped up on my recommended list, I've spent the day watching from part 1. After watching a few van lifers in the US yours is the first travel blog I've stumbled upon in my home country! Thank you for making such a great series and for being simply you, down-to-earth and awesome. I will be watching the rest of your videos and any future adventures. Wishing you all the very best, stay safe, Andi.
I’ve just finished watching you complete the Cape Wrath trail. Congratulations and a huge well done to you Becky. You are an inspiration to me and I’m sure many others. I’ve done a few day hikes and would love to have a go at something like this, although I’m not sure if I could do it as I’m 57 years old. I have promised myself that I’ll go to Sandwood Bay one day. Started watching your Outer Hebrides trip now 👍. Loving it. Keep them coming Becky. Enjoy your day 😊x
No idea why your series popped up on youtube for me, but so glad it did - watched the whole thing and really enjoyed it - congratulations - you did amazingly well 🇬🇧🏆📈
Well done 👏 I've been watching the whole walk and I think you've done absolutely brilliant! What an achievement and your have inspired me to do this. I wanna do the Scottish national trail and it includes this walk to. I've really enjoyed watching this. I'm sad it's over. I bought a couple of beers to watch this after work tonight. I was so excited to see you finish it. You look as though you really enjoyed it and met lots of lovely people along the way. I got quite emotional at the end. The scenery is stunning and reminds me of the western Isles. Not done it yet but I think you'd enjoy the Hebridean Way . Thank you for sharing this adventure. I've been struggling recently and you have put me in the mood for getting out on the hills again x
Loved all them vids of the CRT you seem to be loving your long distance trails ,id love you to the pennine way the most iconic of long distance trails ,your a star becks keep up your good work ⭐
I so loved watching this whole series, having only just discovered your channel from your LEJOG video. A massive well done from me. I did some backpacking and wild camping in that area about 30 odd years ago so it brought back a few memories, including trying to restock food in Kinlochewe. Many thanks and wishing you every success for your future adventures.
What an expedition 👍from a 55 year old fart who's climbed and hiked in the Falklands, everywhere in the UK etc hats off to you for this one, I just think it's awesome someone your age has the determination and resilience to do this and film it for us to enjoy-your a star. I'm hoping my little 6 year old will get the bug too😅🤞👊👍
What an adventure Becky.....hardcore from start to finish and you rose to the challenge and had some amazing experiences along the way. Don't know about the skinny dipping bit, the thought made me wince at the thought and how painful I bet it was lol. Still, another memory made for posterity. Proud of you mate, well done

I'm a new subscriber to your channel and watched this series from start to finish. It's been really enjoyable and I love the way you have filmed and narrated the trip. I watched Haze's series also but great to see how different it can be filmed and also the different views and areas that have been recorded and shown. I'm a newbie to wild camping, but would really love to do something like this in the future. It's people like yourself who help open the world to everyone and show what is possible and the different places to visit. You are very strong both mentally and physically to complete the trial so a massive congratulations. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Becky please teach me how to pack my Letty 65 lb back pack please refer to the message I sent you on messenger I’m so stuck!! God bless darling Sincerely Jacqueline
