Crosman only sells a handful of parts, and they are mostly out of stock.
If you need a new barrel you have to find one from a different model or from parts for a different brand and make it fit.

Do you have any videos of putting back together the fire control group?

Will be looking forward to it. I had to take mine apart after the trigger locked up. The nub from the hammer fell inside and I can’t figure out how the springs go.

If so i would need some Pictures too. I am in need of the Part labeled R1 right next to the fire selector Switch. Crosmans parts Support is Just not existent, so i wanted to Print that Part myself. But i need some clear Pictures.

Is it a brand new airgun/magazine? And does the charging handle pull back smoothly?
It might be the valve in the magazine is not releasing the blowback co2. If the bolt does cycle but you still need to charge it might be the pistol grip and fire selector detent not engaging properly.

@@RWMAirgunsmithingI recently starting having this problem, it will fire once then I will have to pull the bolt back to fire again, this happens every time I pull the trigger. I haven’t seen anyone with a similar problem before this comment is there a way to fix it?

@@tykenison437 I didn't get much feedback from the other comment hehe. Does the bcg move at all? Have you field stripped and verified all components are in place and nothing is damaged?

Just got my crosman Ap-4 today. Loaded everything up. Fired it about 5 shots Worked great. I opened the upper receiver just to see how it worked then locked it back in place. Tried gun again and it didn't work. I took the CO2 cartridge out and it was obviously still very full. Then I put in a new one and it still didn't work. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? Ugh

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing

Can you charge the charging handle? Maybe the bolt is in backwards, ive seen that problem in comments before. The hole goes towards the buffer tube. Also can you release co2 manually from the mag? (If you press on the valve).

@@RWMAirgunsmithing Thanks for the quick response. I didn't take the bolt apart or anything like that. I just popped the pin on the receiver opened it up then closed it back up. Everything looks correct and lined up properly. When I pull the trigger it makes the standard clicking sound like it's suppose to . Must be something with the magazine. I watched another video where the guy shows you how to unclog the CO2 passage way. I just did that a few minutes ago , took the whole thing apart , put the magazine back together, loaded up CO2's (left side first then right) and it's still not working. Not sure what you mean by charging but no it's not getting any gas through the gun at all. Just a clicking sound when I pull the trigger after a rack the slide. I was able to to release the CO2 manually. I just got this gun after not shooting for 30 years so I was expecting all these problems. Thx.

@@devilshark6694 hmm so the trigger goes click but the bolt doesn't slam home? Im on the road, ill try and replicate the issue when I get home.
Another thing you can check is a little metal "switch" on the top of the fcg toward the front of the assembly on the right side. As far as i can tell it is there to prevent misfires unless the airgun is assembled. It might be in the wrong position when you closed the upper, but technically there should have been resistance preventing you from completely closing it.
Besides broken parts there isn't much else that can prevent these from firing. Make sure the pistol grip is snug and secure and the fire selector pin spring isnt damaged, and make sure the buffer springs are not jammed preventing the bcg from being locked back behind the sear.
Tbh, I have taken all of mine (except the first one I bought) completely apart after the first test shots to inspect, clean and make sure everything is properly assembled. If you are comfortable using basic tools this is what I would recommend. If you can personally confirm the assembly I dont see any reason why it wouldn't fire.

@@RWMAirgunsmithing @RWM Airgunsmithing ok thanks so much. I will try all those ideas when I get a chance. Yeah it seems like the pin is not making contact with the CO2 cylinder and slamming it home. although the inside of the upper seems to be running smooth and opens and closes with no problem , you can see the firing pin is in the right direction. It's obviously not making contact? Idk. Hard to tell why it's not. . The magazine seems fine. I'm gonna try your ideas this afternoon. Thx

@@devilshark6694 the black "hammer chip" on the end of the bolt should protude a little from the metal. If that little black chip is flush with the bolt or cracked or missing,it would definitely cause the problem you are having. Would be a shame it broke or fell out after so little use.
