    I really appreciate your effort, patience and in-depth analysis of the subject. Many thanks and congratulations! In my opinion (I am the owner of such a toy) they structurally exaggerated with solving, as it seems to me, problems with the distribution and timing of delivering the right amount of CO2, at the right time and in the right amount to the chamber. It's obvious to me that semi and auto mode are completely different stories, so they found "some solution" which is not perfect. So I have a question for you. What would you change in the design of the magazine to improve its performance?

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Great question hehe, the only thing that I feel is a bummer is the thermal co2 freeze and the finicky tightening of the co2, would have been great if we didn't have to worry about the co2 dumping. I think if the brass seat had the same diameter as the piercing needle we wouldn't have this problem.
      I most definitely will get myself a HPA conversion kit so I can at least zero my optics with no co2 thermal influence.

      @@SilencedRage hmm they should both empty out at the same rate and you change them both at the same time. What is happening when you load/unload your co2?
      Edit : if the bcg is still cycling and your poi is not significantly dropping then you still have co2 to burn. Rapid plinking and full auto can make it seem like you run out of co2 (you can usually tell the difference) letting the co2 rest between reloads or having multiple mags will solve this.

    You can unscrew the green seals inside the co2 slots, take a dental pick and apply pressure to where there is a little space on the edge of the green seal, then push down a little dont penetrate it, and start to unscrew it. Hello mate i wonder if you can advice me on my dpms magazine. I tired doing the valve mod and when i put it back together its causing a leak. • @Replica-Airgun-Lovers
      @Replica-Airgun-Lovers ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @RWMAirgunsmithing it was an attempt at rhe valve mod. You drill bigger holes in the ports to release more co2. I never really achieved that but when I put it back together the problem arrived. Mostly the co2 comes out the front bb part and a little from the back too 😅
      After watching thr video I decided to dig out the broken one, I have 6 so I had to fill all of them with co2. One that was just repaired under warranty is leaking again so that's getting returned again. I have started to strip down the one I tried to mod and I'm going to see what's going on with it. I could do with a proper valve tool but can't ever find them

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Replica-Airgun-Lovers ok ive seen that mod, technically it is all internal, pretty sure if the brass or interior valve stems are not marred and all the parts are assembled in order there should be no external leaks. Did you follow along with my video to make sure all the parts are there? I never had issues or had to over tighten that valve assembly, it just snugs right into place.
      To find valve tools you need to check the big sites like pyramidair.. or google for airsoft shops, I buy most air tools and accessories from local airsoft shops.

      I have put a SMALL drop (I wouldn't even call it a drop, more like a thin film) of pelgun oil (the red stuff from crosman) on all my co2 since my first airgun. I use silicone oil on moving parts and other rubber seals on the airgun.
      The main purpose of the pelgun oil on the tip of the co2 is to prevent the frostbite and condensation from the metal cannister to damage the rubber seal dedicated to the piercing needle.
