Optics are about the easiest thing to still find but all parts have either been stopped or just hidden. They added a new tax too and that's making what is available too expensive. Buying parts is just getting very expensive and difficult now. Not much in stock on airsoft sites now and when it is they want just as much as the rifle is worth lol
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of them to see what I can do with it.. have you seen my sig mpx and mcx? I have a drum magazine I made.. only for looks but people love it. Got them looking really good

Hi mate sorry I forgot to reply when I see the notification. Time difference doesn't help 😀 They won't fit mate. There is literally nothing available to help you add anything, if you know somebody to 3d print one then that's about it. I always use an mlok type handguard it works best
No mate it's fine without the nut thing, that's why I use an mlok style because it can slightly clamp on tighers, probably need hole re-drilling and best to use a free floating barrel nut on the end, that holds it in place nicely

I got it off aliexpress but that site is getting hard to find things and can take ages to arrive. You can get off any airsoft shop or ebay amazon but obviously more expensive. It's just an airsoft outer barrel extension mate. You can pick them up from most airsoft stores, ebay , amazon or where I used to get everything was aliexpress but it's useless now for gun parts
I'm interested in getting one of these and watched a few of your videos. I've noticed in other videos that people have had issues with the mags and internals with these. Just wondering how you've found yours over the time you've used them. Cheers
Hi mate. I can't say I have ever had any issues with the internals on my dpms or r1 that I one (3 dpms/ 1 r1) mags can be a problem but it's not very common, the good news is mags are easily replaced but easy to look after if you use a drop of oil each time on the sills. Most shops should give a warranty anyway and under uk law a product should be made to last

@johnmalgrain304 is the r1 black available to you, that's if you don't like the tan version of the r1? You can change the stock on the r1 but the dpms needs work to be changed
@@Replica-Airgun-Lovers yes I believe it is, along with the dpms in both colours and the AK1 which is what I was originally interested in but there aren't many available here. Seems to be mostly the dpms that most stock here. I've ordered a black one this afternoon along with a dummy silencer and a red dot. I will order a spare mag also at some point. Are the 300 over size mags any good? Or best to stick to the normal ones.
Glad you got one mate you will love it, take good care of it and maintained it it will last, I have seen the Qr mags for sale in England now but yet to see if anybody has one and used it. Personally I like the look of it but it's not my idea of fun hearing bbs rattling around inside the mag, I also don't think turning the right upside down to load it is practical or safe, plus 300 bb reservoir and only 160 if you're lucky in shots from co2 don't make sense, you will always be loading one or the other and not both at the same time
Sorry I can't be more help, internal parts are not something I get involved with, it always ends badly. It is a shame there isn't more available for airguns in the way of upgrades
Yes mate it's not a good business, I asked umarex why they didn't just sell coloured parts rather than selling a new colour pistol, the response wasn't great 🙄
It's a bit hit and miss mate. Sometimes they work well, other times they just don't want to stay on. I find mlok work best as they can be bolted slightly tighter. I have had to drill new holes in a couple of them or just make the holes slightly over from its original position. Nobody makes anything to direct fit one either and there is obviously no barrel nut to help you fit to. I normal you a free floating nut at the end too as it hold it better
I did on this one mate. The handguard had an extent of metal poking out that way so I just cut the shape. Never made a hole for the screw tho but with the mlok it bolts below and sides so with the free floating barrel nut it's holds perfectly

im starting to order parts n whatnot as of recent, got a nice (mock) suppressor on there so far but im either having misfire issues or magazine feeding issues? occasionally one BB will end up in the barrel, usually after the very first shot after installing fresh co2. ill 100% give you a shout, im on discord too if youd like to chat more about the dpms! im currently looking at an A4-P thats on a ridiculous sale right now just to have a companion to the SBR@@Replica-Airgun-Lovers
@evangus1 have you put oil around the rubber sill that joins from the magazine to the barrel? They're a little stiff and need a bit of lubricant to keep the bbs passing out. They're made smaller so the lager bb can hold some pressure before it shoots down the barrel
@@Replica-Airgun-Lovers yep i put oil there and also i often field strip and oil anything mechanical, sometimes i wonder if i do it a little too often. i saw another youtuber suggested drilling down the rubber bit in the upper receiver where BBs pass through, but as you said the pressure is VERY important so i haven't touched that and dont plan on it. the only modification im considering so far before my A4P comes in the mail is adding a washer behind the two springs held within the stock of the DPMS
@stubbs203 I tried the spring thing too and all it did was got the smaller swing stuck all the time. I think if you start doing mods you need to do other things to make sure it's not going to break. I have a small piece of plastic pipe in my buffer tube, it seems to work a lot better and just holds the larger spring tighter
Handguard can be a bit more difficult to fit as its not quite like an airsoft rifle, for some reason crosman decided to add extra parts in that area making it hard to fit handguards, I normally use an mlok type and use a free floating barrel nut that holes it in place near the flash hider (end of Handguard, with the mlok type they're easy to add new holes if needed and tighten it up better than a standard handguard. You'll probably want a barrel extension too (airsoft 14mm ccw) if you're making it a sniper. I'm always available to help if you need it, just bare with me as I'm in Thailand till next month on honeymoon lol, just slower to respond of course Just looked again, stick with the original handguard it's the same lol, just get time rail covers and a long ass silencer
I think to have any problems with anything on the rifle itself then you're just very unlucky. The rifle is very well made, easy to change or replace parts (if you can buy internal parts that is) most things fit straight on from airsoft or real rifle attachments too. The magazines can be the biggest problem but it's not often they break. Mostly it's down to lack of care with them
Your welcome, that's what my channel is for, to help people:) I have 3 x crosman dpms and 1 x R1 They really are the best steel bearing shooting rifle available to us. Blowback action is very good, they're super realistic and basically do everything a real m4/ar rifle can do without shooting a real round. It can be fully field stripped making maintenance simple. I have loads of videos on these things so check them out if you want customization or attachments ideas. Plenty of shooting videos too somewhere on my channel 😅

Dpms or r1 all the way mate.. r1 is better for changing the stock tho, Dpms needs work to do it

Clarification. I meant the Magpul MOE handguard with only a few m-lok on it. Does this change anything?

Not that I'm aware of it made unless you use a solenoid and go battery power like rumble Canada did and just have a button on it rather than a trigger

Do different handguards fit the r1 or do you need to create holes or something

Not as far as I know mate, although crosman says its full customizable it really isn't

Yes mate they should literally just clip on but make sure you get the slotted pictiny rail one not the mlok ones
