Thanks for the simple video. Some close ups off the removed parts would be great, especially if they only fit a particular way around?

Thanks! This video is timely for me, as I have a Serveta I bought this year that I am rebuilding. :)

Were the spring not seated properly likely because they were done when the engine was on the scooter previously? Does that make them harder to seat with the clutch assembly in the vertical plane as opposed to horizontal on the bench where you can just seat the springs and they will stay where you put them? Basically is this job much harder with the engine mounted as it will be my first time?

There are tools that hold the springs for when you fit the clutch with the engine in sito. You can also just use a blob of grease to keep them in place and if they move just whip them in place with a flat blade screwdriver.

Nuts have come loose on my gear bloke plate on a GP200E what has caused that to happen and one has sheared off

Vibration, incorrectly shimed gearbox, end plate wrongly tightened, rear hub not tightened correctly, worn bearings or a combination of the above. 👍

Need to get back to Lambrettas.
This brings back memories from way back.
Do you know Dean Orton and Marcello Colombo?

I have talked to Dean but know Marcello. I've been to many Swedish rallies. Hopefully going to one in Skåne next year 😎

      Kool.
Met Dean at Euro Lambretta 1992 when he was living in Exeter.
He really made it big time in Rimini.
Marcello is an old friend from the mod days in Stockholm.
      Really need to get back.
A tired Li 150 would do.
      Any day!
Thanx for your videos, the mechanical bits are the most interesting!
