Ok, so I'm in the process of looking for an apartment, staying with parents and it's time for me to go. I'm way too grown to still with live them but was beneficial for me and daughter and my parents. My daughter is away for college so her room because a storage room so everything I have bought is in there. My mother made me a cleaning supply stock, I have the basic items. She has a Sam's and Costco card, I have a two of each tissue and paper towels. She suggest that I go ahead and buy all my seasonings and spices and so forth, I did and it's stored in a garbage can I bought, I have my tupperware, garbage bags, and some kitchen items. I also have a Sam's club card with her so I'm getting bulking items that would last me and plus its really just me, my child is away and is only home for breaks and so forth. I'm looking forward to being alone but yea everything will be on me. I'm going from splitting the rent and giving extra for groceries to having to do it by myself that is what I'm nervous about. Trying to stop my extra spending and keep on saving, so I can be a bit comfy without stressing and I'm almost there and can relate. I cant wait girl, I'm looking forward to being able to go to the bathroom without wearing a robe or having to put on pants. Boo, I'm playing Ari Lennox "Apartment" song everyday. LMAO

Good luck in your move! I would say tap into your current network, if you know someone that knows someone that lives in Chicago ask to be connected. And if not joining FB groups or meetups will help. Instagram is always a great resource to find people your age that has the same interests too. Hope this helps!
