As often as I wash my car, I never pay any attention to the actual wiper blade. I've replaced my blades in the past when it wasn't really necessary. Great info!
( no expert here) I've used alcohol, citrus household cleaner, dish soap...they all seem to work fine, but I've found that silicone spray seems to make the wipers work the smoothest. good video.
The super black stuff that came off the wiper blades may have been graphite. That's sometimes applied during manufacture of wiper blades to make them glide over the windshield more smoothly.
Great video and informative as always. I’m looking forward to seeing your interior when it’s done. I’m a huge fan of classic Fords. Please keep the videos coming
This is a great video but what do u do when your blade is brand new and it does the Squeky noise like no matter what u clean with? what solution I have for that brother? I have honda accord 1.5T sport
Personally I use a rubber treatment dressing to let the wiper absorb the moisture and make it more supple. VRP works well just make sure you wipe any excess off after letting them sit for awhile.
As I'm washing the front windshield during a car wash, I ALWAYS run the blade between my thumb and forefinger to remove all the dirt and grime. Youll never have a streaking wiper as long as they aren't cracked.
Probably has something to do with your glass. I would try claying the windshield and then hitting it with a light polish to remove any build up on it. Also make sure to wipe down the blades to get anything off of them as well
Hi, at 7:40, how do you get rid of that brief foglike/haze like effect that briefly appears after using the wipers? That happens so often with my car and sometimes it gets really bad esp at night cuz you can't see anything.
for me , the problem is , its not streaking , its blurry but only when the wipers go down . its was a new car too . anyone have a thought of this , I already tried cleaning it several times , same thing happen
Whoa, literally the same issue! Brand new car, just 2-3 months old. Replaced the Wipers too with new ones, cleaned the glass like crazy, used Invisible glass-Glass stripper and cleaned the windshield. It still streaks. Just in front of the driver side in the middle.
I have the exact same issue too, cleans on the way up then streaks on the way down ! 3 sets of blades later and a widescreen that’s been cleaned and cleaned ! I’m baffled
Very unsafe to use a water bottle . Too easy to forget and accidently drink some isopropyl alcohol. At the very least, remove the original label from the water bottle.

Great idea,it will help with this Houston weather
Great advice. I do basically the same thing but I use denatured alcohol to clean mine. It definitely helps keep me from replacing them so often
I saw the leaf. Service 'em anyway. Nice tips. Rubber sluff is always a problem. Do you recommend any type of protectant after?
Great tip! We definitely have been getting alot of rain here today.

Thanks for the tip and I see your car seats are still at your shop. Hope your going for
a full interior swap.
Ha yeah they just got picked up!!! Doing the full interior but sticking with blue. Just dropping the two tone
Great video. You should take the label off of the water bottle after you put your solution in it

Nice! Always a good idea and it’s so easy to do while you’re already cleaning the car
I just installed new wipers and have terrible streaks. Any ideas? Thanks for your time my man

I use Denatured alcohol because it's a better cleaner than the isopropyl and it will evaporate very quickly.
After cleaning wipers a little bit of silicone compound wipe helps prevent dry out.
Good video. I learned and was reminded of a few things.
Thanks chris

Good tip Josh… thanks for sharing 👍
I also got rims from a newer Tacoma - it’s a good look on the 3rd gen 4Runners
Thanks man for your video and helpful things too.
I do the exact same thing. Works great
ima go and do it thanks buddy
Mine diesnt leave thick watery lines like that. Mine leaves almost like a film behind. Will this work for that? The blades arent that old
Hi love your videos What about a product like Rain X and Anti-fog for the windows and windshield
Do you know when you will be getting some more Mjjc foam cannons?
Great tip 👍😁
Thanks 👍 Josh. Good to know
👍👍
Thanks for the info bro!.
You think I can do a rinseless wash detailing business with the pressure washer??
We need a paint correction on the 4 runner 🔥
Have you tried ONR to do this method?
When I wash a car, I always wash the blades. It is usually with ONR...
But what do you do when new wipers miss a spot when wiping? The windshield is very clean.
I have the same issue. Or streaking even on a freshly cleaned windshield immediately after applying new wiper blades
I have another problem I get white smear after wiping, it then dissolves but I get a white deposit line where the wiper end its run.
Use new finish on the windshield to get rid of any wiper noise when They're going back and forth
What if the blade is new
Cool
Aerospace 3 or 3 works great
👍👍
Detailing water? How much Dawn soap do you use? 10%?
After the wipe, WD40 on a cloth. Zero streaks
You kinda look like Eddy Munster in your profile pic, no?
PQ 👍
It never rains in California
🌧
The rain we just had was a joke, more wind than anything.
Can you please say isopropyl alcohol, one more time?
Use alcohol wipes
