Great video as always. I have two things to add. One I made a google form to send to all new models before shoot. I then fill in all info beforehand to make it faster at shoot. Two I had a custom form on ER with my logo so I could add my logo. I just had that rejected because it omits release version info at the bottom.

But yeah, when you are changing things like text (probably also adding logo), that text on the bottom - “Standard English (USA) release” disappears.
You can add a logo (branding) to a standard release, and it should be accepted, assuming all else is good. Typically "custom-template" releases are not acceptable by some stock photo sites because they handle too much volume to check the legal text for issues on an individual basis. Which is the reason we distinctly mark our standard releases.

They won't accept digitally signed releases. Legally, you should be there together when you are signing the release, and you should sign on the same date. If you can't do that, maybe an option would be to use paper release, fill all your information, scan it, send to the model, and the model can print it, sign it, and send it back to you.

Well, the point of legal agreement is that both are there at the same time, when you both sign the release. Also signature date has to be the same for model and photographer.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that! I think that you won't be able to recover that. But you can write to their support. But because I know it has some bugs, I send the releases to my email before the end of the shoot, so I know they are safely stored in my inbox.
Typically a failure of the app is a reflection of the state of the device and usually that state is being over taxed in resources allocations. In other words, too many other apps competing for resources simultaneously. Always quit all other apps before each session and also occasionally restart your device and reliability will follow. :-)

Thank you! No, you need new release for each shoot, even if it is the same model. The only exception is if you are shooting yourself :)

What if you don't have a witness because nobody else is around. Can the witness be me the photographer?
Well, on iStock, witness is not required. I am not sure how it is on other agencies. But no, witness is some other person than the photographer.
