Thank you for the useful information but I have one question. When for example we shoot a modern sculpture that is publicly placed on a street, where should we go and ask for a property release? If the artist is too old and can't find him or if he passed away? Do we need to ask at the municipality of the town? Are they willing to give you the release, or are they even authorized to do so? I think this topic is very complicated when it comes to actually trying to find from where you will need to ask for permission.
I am a novice I bought the Canon M50 a couple of months ago and I surfed the net on the camera Came accross your videos and found them informative and interesting. What I am going to say has nothing to do with photography. Your presentation is direct and clear cut and the way your commentaries are voiced in a way together with your gestures I termed sexy. Your acturally looked sexy to me at least. Do keep that format.
Wow!! That sure is an extensive list alright. Holy cow. I'm still learning, so I sincerely appreciate this. Thank you so much. Now I'm going to watch it again and actually write down notes and memorize it. Incredibly informative and thorough . . . Thanks again!!! Randy
Thank you Nicole... I learned many things from it myself. I didn't know about few things either... really strict... but funny about graffiti... so we are supposed to find the illegal graffiti artist to have him sign properly release... ok.. 😁 have a nice day. 📽🌻📷
@@ZdenkaDarula in my opinion property release from building can cover the rights for graffiti also because graffiti become part of the construction but it depends on how the lawyers at Shutterstock agree with that
Thank you for all your informative videos! Today, after submitting a photo of myself to Shutterstock as a toddler in the 1960s, with a model release, I was told I need a Vintage Property release. Have you encountered such a release? I could not find one on their site so submitted an enquiry.
Thank you for sharing. I have never heard of vintage release before.... wow... I hope they will get back to you on this one soon..... I am quite surprised.... Wishing you all the best. 🤗📷📽🌞

Thank you very much for your comment. You need one model release for the entire shoot. Honestly there is no best camera depends what lenses you are using and what settings you are using
thanks, if you could guid me how to upload the Property release form digitally , is there any way or has to be printed on the paper first then upload it
Zdenka Darula , which means each and every individual upload needs property release form! In my case im willing to upload my kids artworks, what are the procedures in this case.
So if I take a picture of a major hospital in my city I will need a property release for it and to upload to shutterstock even though it will be licensed as editorial? I’m kind of confused if I still need a property release for a editorial license?

Hm.... that I unfortunately dont know. I never came across that. You should contact the stock agency directly to get some answers... sorry I cannot help. Have a great day 🤗🌅🌻📷
I would prefer to print out model release for my videos. Where would I find a simple form that shutter stock and Pond 5 would take ? ..and can I take a snapshot of the form to send to these sites? @@ZdenkaDarula Hey Zdenka! I was just wondering, as a professional photographer, do you print your own pictures or do you let someone else do it? The reason I ask is that I find that we are snapping Bjgillions (trade mark pending) of pictures and posting them to social media, but the family photo album seems to have died. Is it worth buying a printer anymore, or should we just have our pictures printed? I know! complex subject and there is no answer that will suit everyone. I would be interested in your thoughts though, before make my own decision. Kind regards, Eric
Great question.... I honestly dont offer prints anymore. I am finding that my clients all want only digital files. If I used to print them then I only used professional labs... never myself. I know that there are photographers which make still big money on prints so you really need to ask them. I was never big on prints.... I hope this helps... 😁
