I know there are custom fields you can add to the release. The support told me to make my own custom fields. I am also working as a model and looking for an app where you can write a model contract for photographers signing your contract. Best and thanx Julie

@@OlegKovalov thank you dear. I had a shooting again on the weekend and I did it with adobe sign where you can upload and sign any pdf . But it would be nice to have it in easy release as well as it is so nice with the structure of the app
Great question. You can make any changes to the file before everyone signs the doc. But if the model release is signed and saved, you can make changes to that saved document but all the parties (including the witness) have to sign it again.

Jeff, you can have a free basic plan for dropbox or the same with Google drive. It depends on where you want your model release files backing up to. I don't know about Shutterstock and Pond 5; I don't use those platforms.

Typically, the app uses standard model release forms, where identity verification is done separately, like uploading a photo of the passport or entering personal details. Could you please help me find the email button on my phone app for this? I want to send to a friend to sign and return but this process is quite confusing for a 52 yr old! Lol And I paid 10 bucks for the app but can I also move easy release to my iMac? I am unable to see on my phone, the buttons that send in an email...no where to be found.
Jeff, unfortunately, you can't send the document via email for someone to sign. You, the model, and the witness have to sign the app document at the photo/video shooting location preferably before the shoot starts. After everyone is done signing the document on your phone or tablet. Then the model agreement can be sent to both parties by pressing the button on the bottom left corner, as you can see 15:00 minutes into my video. I hope that helps.
@@OlegKovalov That’s not true. I emailed a release to a model yesterday and she emailed me back a signed release so it can be done. Perhaps Easy Release had an update to allow this maybe?
That may have been the case. I haven't checked that app in a while because all of my clients are now on a video production monthly plan with me. But I'll look at the app soon.

if I found 10 models to set up a shoot do I need to ask 10 people for models release?
You should. Because it will protect your work in the future if you make everyone you photograph or film sign a model release.
