i’m currently using a manual hand press tool. i can’t tell if you just make it look easy to put the hands on (i’m sure it took you lots of practice)haha or if the press really makes it that much easier. what is your take on the press vs manual hand tools?
Thanks! Ive certainly had lots of practice haha. I like the hand press tool as it takes away the variable of my hand holding the tool. Once I put the movement under the press in the right position, all I need to worry about is the placement of the hands and applying downward pressure with the press. I find it makes the process simpler. Just my two cents tho!
Great build JB! So no movement ring required inside case to stop movement moving? What camera / mic do you use - vid and sound is clear 👍🏻 Subscribed, cheers Mate JB Qld 🦘
Thanks! Yeah, no spacer ring required! I prefer the cases that need any movement rings. I use a nikon Z50, this video is audio straight from the camera. But i use a comica vm30 mic now 🙂
@@Kerrr4 for copyright infringement they are not allowed to spell seiko. instead, they say with S logo, meaning with Seiko Logo. All dials look blank in the pics, so its a bit deceiving.
Thanks! Ill attach a link with pricing for you :) jbwatchmods.com.au/products/jb-watchmods-custom-seiko-mod-gold-on-gold-roman-numeral?_pos=13&_fid=ba0e39113&_ss=c
In fact, there is an American 10k gold that would be more economical, but who would sell gold boxes and make it profitable? I dream for those of us who like mods and I don't think so.
Hi, hope you continue with the excellent videos, can you tell me the color you choose for the bracelet?
Thankyou, this one is yellow gold
Got a starting kit from Alix, hope to be able to make some nice customized gifts for friends and family soon! great video~!
Thanks! They make perfect gifts!

@@jbwatchmods appreciate it! Cheers!

Aliexpress!
Good work. Looks amazing!
Thank you so much! :)
Approximately how long is the crown stand that you use as a reference?
My reference stem is 15mm long :)
Hi, wanted to ask if the dial comes with the "Seiko" printed on already, or did you do it yourself?
I purchased the dial with the logo installed. Links in the description :)
@@jbwatchmods Thanks mate
The link in the description doesn’t have the logo though?

I was trying to adjust the time and the watch movement just stopped working , any idea how to fix it ?
Did you use loctite on the crown stem? Sounds like the crown could be loose on the stem
@@jbwatchmods i don’t know what happened , but I took it to watch service and he fixed it really fast and it started working
Glad to hear they got it fixed quickly!
this watch would be epic if it was made from a real solid 14K or 18K gold case
Yeah that'd be baller haha!
