Did you happen to confirm the overall thickness of the case with calipers? I ask only because I've seen several of these Aliex/Ebay 43mm DSSD style cases advertised as being 14 or 15mm thick, but when they arrive, they're actually 18mm or more. In my experience, the 14mm cases wear great, but the 18mm ones are just too much. Thanks.

can you reuse the movement for other builds

This looks fantastic man! I do have a question though. I am making a GMT watch for myself at this moment but when I put my movement with the hands in the case it stopped working. I noticed you had the same problem at 13:35 in the video. Hou did you get youre movement working again when it is fitted into the case? Hope you can help me out with this because I don’t know what to do!

I have a question, I added a spacer between the movement and the face that came with the nh34 movement, and when I added the gmt hand, it didnt had clearance and it was being obstructed. Should I not use the spacer that came with the movement?

Two tone kills it! great work. Is the bezel removable ? because I did with one that has like a stem under and I successfully putted it back but the bezel is moving and I am not able to put it the way it was before. Thanks for your help

Careful with posting videos where you use the Seiko logo on the dial. There are spiteful people who go around reporting these for copyright violations and you can lose your channel. Id imagine this is what got Time for Another Watch. Its caught some others in the past like I Like Watches old channel. Love the channel and would hate to lose this, its a great resource as a modder

Beautiful watch and a another great build video! BTW, have you ever use a dial larger than 28.5mm for an NH3x build? For example, parts are now available on AliEx to create NH35 cocktail time replicas with 35mm dials. Do you happen to know how that works? Are special spacers needed? Thanks!

How do you know how far the hands need to be pushed on the mechanism? Is there an and stop or something?

It's a very realistic alternative to my own non-James Cameron DSSD. I'm loving that graduated dial look. Also, it won't cost $1500 to service......

Me gusta los materiales para formar el reloj, no me gusta nada las tomas del proceso de ensamblaje, no son cercanas, el mesón debería tener un paño suave evitando rayones, el acostumbrado cojín dónde reposa la pieza para colocarlo, buenas herramientas pero no parece profesional el proceso, pero veo que es su estilo, si fuera más cercano la toma de video sería excelente, por lo demás son hermosos los relojes

Awesome video. I was got all the parts and began to assemble however I realized that my 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock sub dial are the exact opposite of yours meaning the one you have on the right with the 10,20,30 is on the 9 o'clock position and so on. Did I buy the dial for a different movement or is there a way I can still use this for the vk63?
