Love my iPhone 14 Pro (dynamic island is awesome) in Space Black, got it with 1 TB for the first time. Last times it was max 256GB, but was tired of running out of storage so getting 1TB from now on. Beside the Pro’s. Still using my regular iPhone 12 (also Space Black, but with 256GB), mostly to watch movies on while at work. I’m good for now, next upgrade will probably be iPhone 16 Pro with 1TB unless I skip another year. Not sure yet. Time will tell. Maybe I upgrade my Apple Watch Series 6 (RED) first, oh and I still wish for a Product RED Pro iPhone, please Apple! Let it happen! 🙏
I got my 14 Pro in mid December, upgraded from a 12 Mini. The Pro became my first Pro iPhone, I have some new features that my older phone doesn’t have that I will hardly if ever take full advantage of, how ever one thing I’ve already used and enjoyed is the 3X camera. This camera makes me wish for even more zoom capability like what I’m seeing from Android phones with their 5X or better optical zoom
This year I went with a spontaneous decision to go with an iPhone 14 Pro, leaving my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I loved the extra screen real estate and bigger battery.. but iPhone 14 Pro fits perfectly for one handed use. I hope IOS 17 fixes all the bugs.
Did the same, love the size of the 14 Pro but man do I miss the battery life of the 13PM and the screen size.

I’ve had the iPhone 14 pro since launch date. I also love the size of it , for one hand use. It’s the perfect size for me. Everything is great with it.
Just got rid of my 14 pro max the other day to get the 14 pro and love it for the size. Battery life is nowhere in comparison, but usually we all are near a charger at home, in the car or at work if needing to boost up. Will see how it does while flying and in the Bahamas soon.
I love my Iphone 14 pro max. Upgraded from the Pixel 7 pro. Iphone just works and the pixel had so many bugs.
I’ve been running betas quite a bit on my iPhone 14 pro and battery is still 100%. Purchased near launch day.

This year I went with mobile protection with Verizon when I grabbed a 14 pro in Dec it’s relaxing not having to freak out about battery captivity this time around
The main reason I went for the 14 Pro Max was for the battery. Honestly if the 15s have even better battery life I'll probably stick with the 15 Pro, as opposed to the Pro Max.

I hear the same thing about 13 to 14 pro max reviewers who are being honest, such as yourself about the cameras. I'm glad to hear it because I love my 13 pro max, do i wish i had the 48 mpx sensor sure, but there are some pretty big tradeoffs there it seems. We will see what the 15 brings, but outside of a 6x periscope tele lens, i think ill be replacing my battery (88%) on this before getting a new model. I think they likely hit it too far out of the park with the 13 pro max, same with the m1 pro macbooks, that the justification to upgrade at this point is near zero for the older model holders.
Ordering my 14 pro tomorrow and I’ve never been so excited. I’ve got a 13 mini but it’s running slow and hot and I’m starting to dislike the smaller screen and I have a 120hz monitor so the 13 minis 60hz display feels sluggish, so that’s a great reason for me personally to get the 14 pro. I’ve heard great things and I can’t wait to get mine

I was on Android for 15 years. 2 weeks into this phone and every day I’m blown away by the simplest things. Apple knocked it out of the park with this thing.
Really? What exactly does it do better than the previous generation? Don’t say the “Dynamic Island”, because I have had this phone since release and that thing is as useless as 3D touch was back then, and it is super noticeable.

I had a 12 Pro Max that I really liked and was paid off. I did not plan to upgrade when the 14 Pro launched. But the super bright display, pro-motion, the dynamic island, crash detection, satellite connectivity, and a generous trade-in offer from my carrier all convinced me to upgrade. I’m very happy with the 14 Pro Max, and the new features made the upgrade worth it. I don’t use the cameras much, so the ongoing issues with photo processing don’t affect me. My only frustrations come from iOS 16. I’m hoping iOS 17 will address those concerns.

Honestly, the transformation between the iPhone 8+ to the IPhone 14 Pro Max is just astounding! I treated myself in October to an iPhone 14 pro max and it was probably one of the best purchases I ever done! The only real concern I have is my maximum capacity. I’m really surprised how quick it goes down in under 8 months so I’m a little concerned about that. Other than that, amazing phone!

Thinking about getting the 14 pro instead of the 15 pro because it’s €1509 at launch, a bit to much to spend on a phone for me.
And the 14 pro will probably be similar in price with the regular Iphone 15.

Yesterday i Upgraded from 512gb pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro Max to the 1tb silver iphone 14 pro max! It is great! Can’t wait to use it more, but the first impressions are great and was kind of impressed at how huge the camera cutout is!

I upgraded from the 10XS Max because of the camera…I shoot all my videos with my iPhones…I don’t need the larger screen anymore because I use the iPad Mini 6 for on the go presentations…And I like the feel of the smaller phone now.
I have an iPad mini too. Should I get the pro instead of pro max?. I’m so confused this is my first phone and I’m very used to the bigger iPad screen. Also the camera seems way too big for the phone in the 14 pro and I think it looks ugly 😭😭😭😭
The gold finish looks so good. Very subtle gold. Almost white but great. It was the best color that differentiated itself from the usual other colors.

The wife just got the 14 Pro Max a few weeks ago, upgrading from the 11 Pro Max. She is loving so far. Thought always on display was cool but then turned it off. Loves the display and speakers as she watches a lot of videos on her phone. She is taking advantage of more feature of the 14 than she had on the 11. I’m happy with my 13 Pro Max which has held up just fine over the last year. Battery is comfortably at 98% even with running beta software since I got it. Thanks as always for you informative and entertaining videos.

I upgraded from the X to the 14 PM love it.
So I accidentally found out if I have music playing in dynamic island and u swipe to the side in the island itself it turns it off. Not the music but the display of it. Pretty cool hadn’t seen this mentioned so

I’ve had my iPhone 14 pro since October it’s been good but I’ve had a few issues
I got the pm, which I like but am not as excited about it as I thought. I like always on display, and the screen size (old eyes) but not a fan of the weight. I really like the 14 max but not sure. It would be such a good move to swap down like that.
I really wanna get the 15s but idk if I should really bc some things I heard idk how I will feel but if I’m not digging it I will get a iPhone 14 pro
Awesome video! I am definitely waiting for the iPhone 15 Pro model to be launched in September. I’m anxious to see what Apple does with software on the iPhone 8 model. If it will not support iOS 17, then I will definitely give my phone to either my mom or dad and then I will get the 15 Pro and then the other will get either 15 Pro or the regular 15 model.
iPhone 14 Pro is the first one I've had since maybe i Phone 7 that has 0 deep micro scratches on the screen without having a screen protector on it. Really impressed by this :) Battery life for me is turning to be mediocre after having it since launch day but that's ok I upgrade yearly for this reason unfortunately can't bother to change the buttery

Theres something that needs to be wtitten. The average iphone user only shoots pictures or videos for social media. For this purpose it doesn't matter if you have 48mp or less as they will all be compressed. Its something people use to forget.

I really love your videos, like I think you’re the best reviewer and info provider for Apple products I’m aware off, but your comment ref reasons you’d recommend the pro over the pro max were uninformative. “If screen or battery isn’t your problem, go for the pro over the pro max” of course that’s the only difference between them. Obviously it’s more usable in terms of reachability…..it’s not really a recommendation…..it’s just pointing out the difference (which is fine).

I went from the xr to the 14 pro max. My only downside is the camera bump; even with a case, its still bumpy when it’s on a flat surface

Just got the 14 Pro to replace my beloved 13 Pro last week. I was having battery issue and want to get it replaced and serviced at the Apple Store. After a diagnostic was done on my 13 Pro, I was informed that I have a defective lightning port because the technician couldn't get the computer to plug in so he can calibrate the battery to the iOS of my iPhone. Barely had the 14 Pro for a week and it just doesn't feel the same was the 13 Pro. I was offered a trade in at $530 for my 13 Pro to be credited toward the purchase of the another iPhone. I got the 14 Pro Space Black 256GB. I didn't care for the Dynamic Island and that is something that I will have to get used to. I'm kinda of ticked off though cause I have no plans to upgrade to a new phone. Since the rumors are saying that the iPhone 15 lineup will have USB-C connection is the reason that I will upgrade. Otherwise, I don't have plans to upgrade for a long long time.

I like the 14 Pro Max a lot and I’m glad you mentioned the closeness because I knew my friends 13 Pro Max takes better closeup cameras. I thought it was just in my head. Also, I do want to say this here before I forget. This is more of a iOS 16.6 or for iOS 17. 3 features I want. The ability if I’m looking at a photo to name someone in it. I wish I knew how to or maybe it can’t do it yet. Circle a face and add a name. I can only name people in a pic it recognizes. It won’t let me pick an additional person. Also, landscape more coming back for the home screen is useful when driving, that’s a want. Not a must, I just miss it from the 7 Plus Days. Lastly, folders or grouping under the Hidden Photos folder. I think I’ll remember this if I say it out loud.
The battery health dropping has NOTHING to do with the 14 Pro Max in general but only YOUR model. Batteries are never identical and you just got a bit unlucky and got a model that hasn't a battery that's much more than the rated capacity. Sometimes you end up with one that has like 5% bigger. That's how some people end with 100% after like a year.
I also have 97% health on the 14 pro only been on the last betas of iOS 16.2, .3 and .4 otherwise don’t see why some 14 pros this year seem to reduce in health faster
I have mine on the Apple 20w charger for 6 months now and its sitting at 98% health now, I'm switching back to the old 5w charger to see if it lasts longer later on.

I’m a welder and I believe the IPhone 14 pro is a solid build. Titanium is a difficult metal to work with vs heat. The iPhone 15 pro have amazing specs but the iPhone 14 pro has a better build and is a very solid computer phone. My opinion don’t upgrade the iPhone 14 pro will prove it’s very capable and one of Apple’s most durable phones.
Of the three “notch” solutions, I think I actually prefer the original notch (like that of the iPhone 12 Pro) better than the smaller, deeper notch or the dynamic island. The latter two just cut into the screen more while the original is longer but more shallow - I barely notice it. Just my 2¢
Understandable. I highly prefer my smaller but deeper 13 Pro notch to my old 11 Pro, but I truly don’t notice it much just like with the 11. Wide videos on YT fit just about perfectly where the notch doesn’t protrude into the video itself. Can’t wait for the 16 which according to their potential upgrade path seems will be the first without a notch or an island
Yeah I’ve always found that odd. Like the 1st notch iteration cut into the screen much less and it may be the best solution…
If they made it smaller like the 13 pros but kept it at the same depth as the original it would’ve been killer

Battery is definietly not good but overall good phone to use
Personally I regret getting the iPhone 13 Pro as I am very dissapointed with the design. I don’t use a case it’s uncomfortable to hold (has sharp edges), stainless steel is too heavy, and box square style I’m not a big fan off. I prefer curved edges and lighter phone which is why I will wait for the 15 pro max with titanium.

I’ve got the 14 pro max and have had it since release. Battery life is a beast and not suffered with too many bugs to be fair so I’m happy

The battery health id in % and the capacity is not the same between the pro and pro max, that and just random luck can explain the difference
My next phone will be the iPhone 16 or 17.. I have the 13 base model and it is more than good enough for what I use it for.. my only complaint is the battery is starting to drain faster than I like

Battery health of my iPhone, 14 pro after six months is still 100% battery it only lasts a day even though I’ve got the always on display off

I think apple should make duo tone color schemes for a future iPhone release maybe for an anniversary edition for the iPhone 20 that’d be pretty sick or eventually they’ll probably have an iPhone design lab for future products I mean idk how many people would actually care to get that personal with their phone but to further justify the insanely high price for the pro end phones I’d love a lot more customization options to further personalize my phone especially since I hope to keep it for a couple years it’s such a great phone, the 14 pro max that I don’t really see myself upgrading unless the next iPhone looks insanely different I mean if the titanium frame is true I might upgrade and type c maybe a parascope lens I might upgrade but after that I don’t see to many reasons why anyone should upgrade the cameras are great

Using the 14 pro max. Still seems like a mediocre update like the 13 was. Incremental advances on both, seems they are on a product cycle of maybe 4 years with fill in models in the interim. Other than the camera advances (especially with supplementary software) I haven't found it to be anything to write home about. Price is absolutely outrageous now which is why I'm not that enthused about it for what you get. Shut off the always on screen after a month. OK but really not that big of a deal. Considering I waited 2 years (and bought a SE to use as a fill in) for this model I don't find it's worth the money.
After buying pixel 7, i stopped regretting buying iPhone 14 pro.

Using 14 pro max for more than a month now, it’s a beast and the size is perfect for me. I was considering 14 pro because it’s lighter but the display is not big enough for me.

I'm content with keeping my iPhone 13 Pro for another year as the updates on iPhone 14 Pro are simply underwhelming to me.
However, I may upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro based on current rumors.
Anyone else find that the pro model screens scratch really easy? Haven’t dropped mine on hard surfaces and it’s only been in and out of my pocket, finding much more scratches than previous model. Also no screen protector, didn’t need one in the past so I assumed the same for this, I was wrong.

the glass is softer which helps with drops but makes the glass more prone to getting scratches. i immediately got my screen protector and case thrown on my 14 pro the second i unboxed it to keep that from happening
@christianfir18 used 11 pro and 12 pro without cases , not noticed extra scratching, with coat pocked use, and even rare back pocket on jean use. I dont see why these screens would scratch, the Mohs rating of the screens is harder than most everyday objects.
@@Ross6041 had a 12 and 13 pro and it was never a problem for me, done everything the same with this phone so I’m not sure why it would scratch so easy
100% true, I scratched it on day 4, never scratched an iPhone before, i Have a 1Phone 6 14 years old with no scratch
