wow, the smoke ring on those beef ribs is epic.. love the Southern Styles. What smoker is that? Must be a custom build. It looks like it does a great job. Thank you for sharing your skills. Cheers, from Melbourne, Australia
Yes it was a custom build by a amateur grill maker had problems with it reaching over 200 deg 93.3 c when i got it home. Grills like this should always be bought from a good builder. I got lucky on this cooker and got it for cheep thank God I knew how to get it running took a minute to figure out but she go's up to 500 deg now 350c. Great Smoker.
Yes my father was a very fond of smoked meats especially fish and pork,in fact made a smoker out of an old stand up refrigerator, some of the best food I ever tasted was prepared in that smoker, hey keep doing what you know you're educational and you don't have to be a chef with 10+years of experience thanks.
20:59 😋😋; Really 🤓🤓 for those trotters; You are 100% correct no boiling of the trotters before smoking...lose that icky sticky gumminess!! ( The ribs look good too Bro.) but you can't get between a 👨🏾 and Pork Trotters or Hocks .
Another great video Pit Master. I will be trying those ribs. I really like the tips on what to look for in the store. Starting with the right ingredients is key to a good finished product. I also enjoy your pit and grill tours. Keep'em coming and thanks.
I'm embarassed to say, I've never heard of pig trotters. As usual, the video was excellent, and I can't wait to see the next. Keep it up Mr. Pitmaster 👌
You are Mr Custom smoker 😊! You the builder or just lucky to have talented friends? This was a great and different cook. I may have to try those pig trotters. 👍
Thank you for another excellent video. I know that you said that we could make our own 5-spice, but I would certainly buy your blend if it were commercially available. Looking forward to future videos. Be well.
Thank you, try amazon on the five spice its not to crazy like 15 bucks for a good amount that well last you. Hope this helps and thank you for watching.
Looking at those pig trotters lets me know that you are King 👑 of all you survey. It’s been so long since I’ve had a trotter, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. Nice work 👍🏾
Pigs feet are a Chinese delicacy. Never had them smoked before, will definitely have to give them a try. Can see making them with pulled pork and eating them while waiting for the pulled pork to get done.
I went straight to the trotters seining as I have long ago master Dino Ribs/ Beef Short Ribs. My experience with pig trotters have mostly been what I learned with Mexicans. I will will be doing your version of trotter seeing as they might still be affordable.
Lawd, mouth stop watering. Tongue, behave yourself. I only have one thing. Why no gatlic??? I absolutely love garlic. The only thing i would have done different was rub on that roasted garlic when it was nearly finished. Awesome job. Pit master for sure. Thanks for sharing.
nice cook southern smoke beef looks great. haven't had pig feet in a long time, will you smoke some ham hocks soon would love to see a video on it if you haven't done one yet.
Wow....Excellent ! I love pigs feet and I use an old Italian recipe passed down from my in-laws accompanied with a nice healthy dose of white beans. Your recipe looks amazing. I am definitely trying that as soon as I have my smoker delivered. Thank you so much for sharing. We subscribed ! Bravo !
When I watch your channel I end up so hongry 😂🤙🏻❤️🙏🏼I love pig feet and ham hocks🤙🏻❤️ I used to hold pigs fer my PaPa to castrate for Uncle JC Spearman I saw my Uncle Johnny throw a Bull in a Corral 10 times his size fer PaPa to castrate those were what we call The Good Ole Days😂❤️
Thank you I got this Smoker a while back it was a custom build that had problems keeping temperature. Took me a few weeks and a simple modification on the burn box and now it's a great cooker holding temperatures up almost 500 degrees. I can hold 280 deg steady all day.
I enjoy watching your videos. I'm wanting to do some 'trotter' tacos..can you give me the Smoker box temp and time it will take me to get them tender enough to chop up , please ? TY, Mark
Great respect for your grill skills. Did you ever try "no trim??" I enjoy slow roast but prefer to use meat direct from the animal. The trim you remove renders away during cooking and adds flavour. I remove to trim after slow roast.
Your Design is awesome I can't cook like you you are one of the best but I disagree with canola oil that stuff is unhealthy I'll do a good olive oil look at what canola oil does to the body Of course that was a little bit but still
I love your comment, but it cooks off and out of the meat into the fire so good oil would just be waste of money sir. The meat pushes out the grease as it cooks with called rendering down. I hope this helps and thank you for your kind words, God Bless.
Pit master you've done it again pig trotters look delicious and beef bones
Thank you, sir, very much appreciated.
Sir, as a rookie BBQ’er, I’m inspired by your videos. Keep up the good work!
Awesome! Thank you! and I still learn something every time I cook. i pray I never stop learning it would kill the passion.
Those pig feet looks so good, I haven't had any in years, next time I do it will be smoked.
You should! people forget the old school foods.
I’m very impressed with the way you cooked the trotters, never cooked on the grill looks good.

Looks delicious! BBQ goals!
Thank you
Those beef ribs look great. To bad restaurants usually get those Xtra meaty ones.
They do if you're paying top price and it's hard to keep them moist sitting around waiting to sell them.
excellent vid
Very much appreciated thank you.

225 deg get some color on them and rap them puppies to fork tender.
Great respect for your grill skills.
