I bet these are great! ;) I was thinking after watching this to buy a couple, pressure cook them and then smoke or grill them! Or better yet, roast in the oven to get them crispy? Thanks for making me want to try pig tails. I have had them in Jamaican rice and peas, but those are usually salted and have to be soaked. Then you use them like salt pork. THey are delicious too!

Hope you like the knife, remember it is carbon steel so it will rust if it is left wet, I clean and dry mine right after I use it. I treat it like cast iron in a way.

@@catfishkitchen4203 I have a couple of high carbon Old Hickory knives in the kitchen that are the same way. I put a little olive oil on them after cleaning before putting away. Love the way a high carbon knife sharpens! Thanks

I can hear old Tom in the background saying "I'm glad they ain't turkey tails" ! As for the sausage rice soup...I'll bet it's great....only thing is, I've discovered that I'm one of the unfortunates that can't eat cilantro. It tastes like soap! I know I'm not alone.

They cook most every pig part when people here make Carnitas, but I've never heard of pigtails included, well after seeing them cooking on the grill and then seeing you taste one, I'm sold, gonna check with Lupe the Butcher tomorrow and see if he can get me some pigtails! If pigtails aren't included in the Carnitas(pulled pork)sold here, its our loss, don't forget a hot chili sauce with those yummy, spicy Thai chilies Paul! Crazy Mexican, always has to have chili peppers with his food!lol....XD
