Funny thing was, just after you get out I said "That was awesome", just a second later Jesse said the exact same thing hehe. Hope I get to see what actually happened to Ahti in this DLC.

NSC power plant - Noorthmore Sarcophagus Container During the end of Noorthmores time as director, he lost control of his powers, so he reluctantly agreed to "keep the lights on in the Oldest House." His body is now kept alive in the NSC power plant and used to power the Oldest house. He is contained within the power core. However saying that he became the power core itself is a fully valid arguement.
@@siemprepalante773 You can verify it when you try and complete the Burning TVs sidequest from the game. One of the TVs is at the very top of the Power Plant, and on the way up there are main monitors installed. If you look at the monitors you can see a man inside restrained and apparently burning.
Some sections in this dlc were a real slog.. Do platforming, fight mobs, rinse and repeat until you cleanse the nail stone. The movie camera altered item was the best part.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS Just finished the dlc, and I was wondering about a few things. I recall a conversation with the former where it called the nail a “leech”? I don’t remember exactly, but what if the Nail’s purpose is to provide the energy coming from the foundation and transfer it to the Board? In one of Dr. Ash’s logs, Log 7: Changes, he noted that the Oldest House existed long before the Board took residence, stating that before New York City was created, a whole forest stood in its place, and pondered if the House was able to change its appearance according to its surroundings. It would make sense why the Board referred it as a “tree” in one of the Foundation hotline, as well as the tree sketching. It’s likely that was the House’s original/ previous form, making the Foundation its “roots” so to speak. Another documents from Dr. Ash talked about his invention of the Power Cores, how he created them using modern materials combined with the stone from the surrounding caverns. He mentions how it absorbs the energy from the leylines in the Oldest House (when looking up what leylines were, it was said that they were straight alignments that connected various historical structures together, till the 1960s where it was claimed that they represent earth energies. I just compared it to the lifestream from ff7, makes it easier to imagine). Would make some sense on how the power cores work, the materials he took from the “roots” absorb the energy from the leylines, and transforms them into usable electricity. So, assuming the the Oldest House represent a tree, the foundation it’s roots, and the nail being the leech, I believe that the nail was put there when the board first discovered the House and it’s untapped potential. Dr. Ash even pointed out how different it was compared to the foundation, and pondered if it was an intrusion in the House’s heart, stated in the Foundation Pillar document. So the nail is absorbing the earth energies flowing into the House and transfers it to the Board, thus empowering them. It would make sense why they want you to repair it, and why they attacked Marshall when she blew it up. The Former wants Jesse to “burn” it since I believe it would weaken the Board, giving the Former an advantage over them, as why the Hiss wants to take it over as well. Imagine if they had access to the leylines, they’d spread theirselves all over the globe, infecting everyone with ease, maybe that’s why Marshall claimed it would be the end of the world if the Hiss took it over. As why the Former was separated from the Board, I still don’t know why, although, I do wonder if it influenced Dr. Ash in some way. See near the end of Ash’s logs, he mentions he felt something needing him and that he refused to leave the Foundation, opting to stay against Northmoor’s wishes, and in Log 8: Purpose, he says that “their ears are too full of lies”, and that “all we’ve done is fall victim to the same parasite.” I assume that he refers to the bureau and the board respectively, and that he’ll try to steer the bureau back to the right path, perhaps meaning that he’ll try to release the Board’s influence on them, maybe something that Jesse will attempt as well in the future. Were the “whispering from Oldest House” actually coming from the Former? Did he show Dr. Ash the Board’s true intentions, that made him decide to break away from the Board? Or is the Former simply manipulating him, as well as Jesse, to bring down the Board for his own gains, just like how the Board is likely using us for their own gains. Remember, we’ve defeated it twice, and it’s likely it changed its attitude once it realize our capabilities, just like how the Board changed it’s attitude once it realized how useful we’d be having both abilities, despite being against it in the first place. This is all just speculation from what I gathered from the documents and recordings. If anyone else has their own theories, feel free to reply.
My cons were it was amazingly short, the story was alright, it gave me some insight into some things but I wouldn't call it the greatest DLC, it's sub par.
Sajirou Plays its weird that he never mentions how the new enemies force you to change up the fighting style in this game and optimizes every ability. Before you could just fly and evade and shoot or launch but now you have to use your shield and melee and with the shield bash ability as well. Even tho the dlc is short I think they perfected the combat by adding those melee enemies
@@possiblymaybe6711 Definitely. While they're easy to avoid in open areas by simply floating, it's a different story when the ceiling is low. Also, one of the side missions has you go in complete darkness, while using a tv to light your way. This requires a different approach as well.

I'm not sure if this is the case, but the game journalists usually get pre release copies of the games, so they can review it early. So maybe it will be released for you in a couple of days and hopefully you are able to play by then 😉
When u start up the game and i spawn in central u will get a quest called the foundation make sure the game is complete tho with u doing the former boss missions as well bye fellow directors 🙃
The only reason I can't seem to want to play this game is the animation of the main character. She's not animated nicely and seems to hover or glide on the ground even when she is walking. Crazy reason you think?
If it were on nintendo switch it would be unplayable. Even on my Xbox one S it runs at 30 frames per second, and when exiting the pause menu or the weapon customization screen, the fps drops for a few second. Control is a very very hard game to run
Why is the running animation so out of sync with every surface i watch her run across? It looks more like ice skating then running and it kills the immersion (for me)
Managed to platinum the game with my ps now trial the other week. Great game but I think I'll wait for the ps5 to play the dlcs because the performance on base PS4 is an absolute joke.

This game has physics and visuals which is quite well optimised for this generation to be honest.

Ok so what exactly were the flaws with this DLC? I didn't understand what the cons were.

This game is meant to be played on pc at 60+ fps , kinda like doom where fps enhances the gameplay but sadly the games optimization is a wack

Why is the running animation so out of sync with every surface i watch her run across? It looks more like ice skating then running and it kills the immersion (for me)
Managed to platinum the game with my ps now trial the other week. Great game but I think I'll wait for the ps5 to play the dlcs because the performance on base PS4 is an absolute joke.
@@brosybrodonald7035 its 900p on the base ps4 and 720p on the xbox one. On the pro and one x its 1080p
