Totally. He really seems to be leading the company in a very unfriendly route, all about tripla A's, not about the fans or the games at all. Thanks for watching and leaving this comment!
Love that your showing games that people may not know of that could be they’re next favorite game. Also I do think Sony is making a mistake not having they’re legacy games more available.
Nice List bro, I tried Indivisible on game pass and after few hours I knew it was a must buy, sadly the studio went down due to lots of internal issues.
Right, I remember hearing about that studio closing last year. Well, at least they managed to release a great game. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment, Charlie! :D
Great list. Lots of cross-platform games too, since I don't have a PS4. The ones that caught my eye were Thumper, Shady Part of Me, and Velocity 2X (I've already played Night in the Woods). Also, I had no idea Monkey King: Hero Is Back had a game tie-in. Thanks for letting me know.
Great recommendations! I still need to play Velocity 2X, Night in the Woods and Grow Home sometime. It really sucks indies aren't getting that much attention from Sony nowadays, especially when you think back to the PSVita days when Sony used to be best friends with indie devs :(
Right, they used to be much better about indies about 5 to 7 years ago, I also recall that. It's also probably related to the change in leadership. I really hope they return to that mindset, but it really seems like they are focusing all their attention to the big blockbusters and the tastes of the US market. Let's see how it turrns out. Thanks, makreel, for the watching and commenting! :D
Excellent list of games! Perhaps Sony listened since the release of this video with many of their indie games gaining decent success this year. I don’t see enough content creators doing videos on PlayStation indie titles like this- it’d be great to see you do more vids shedding some light on less known ps4/Ps5 indies/hidden gems in the future.
Very cool video mate. Totally agree. I love my Switch and recently bought Xbox series X due to the writing on the wall. Jim Ryan is a small minded numbers man. Once I saw the design of the PS5 and cost of games, I tapped out. PS2 is close to my fave system ever -that whole gen Gamecube, OG Xbox, Dreamcast I play all the time. Such creativity.
Thank you so much, Robin! Yes, I am on the same boat. The switch is my main console and once I decide to jump in to the next gen I am getting the Series X. And hey, if your favorite gen is the PS2, the video I am working on now coming soon is just right for you. I am making a 50 Expensive PS2 games list with a lot of great obscure games on that system. Stay tuned for that, and thanks for watching!
I like the content you make very much. However, I must note that Sony did not forget or hide Rez Infinite. The original Rez was a Sony-published game in Europe to begin with. Recently Rez Infinite was given away for free as part of the Play at Home initiative, so it's not like Sony won't show it.
Right, thanks for pointing that out. I'm seeing here that Thumper was also on that list of 10 games for the initiative. Good to know. Yeah, I don't think they have given up on indies completly, but it sure looks like they are the ones doing the least in comparison with any of the competitors. And they could do much better since presumably they make the most profit out of all of them. Thank you very much for watching my videos and leaving this comment! :D

I agree with you, the focus on making all your money from a couple giant AAA games seems like "putting all your eggs in one basket." If a couple of those fail at the same time Sony they'll need some smaller titles to keep them going. Also, I like that you point out big trends like "Battle-Royale" coming from indie games.

Jim Ryan is destroying Sony. Not only has he ignored/insulted Indie games and Playstation Legacy games...he now is watering down the Playstation brand by letting exclusives jump over to PC. It might be a good short term strategy from a monetary perspective...but this will do long term damage to the Playstation brand down the road. Jim Ryan need to go.
The way he treats his own company's legacy is pathetic really, shows how ignorant he is about the industry he works in. As for the games on PC, I agree that its a weird move, I mean, we wouldn't expect Nintendo to ever do such a thing, right? But those are not the fresh new games right? Im not sure it creates too much harm to their brand, but yeah, comparing them to Nintendo who is always bringing old games back to their new systems, I guess you have a point in the long term perspective. Sony isnt problem the games and devs r trash thats the problem And the devs do nothing to promote their games i love when scammers like game devs cry Sony this Sony that

Hello my friend I come to you with a conflic, you see how I have rebranded my channel and was going to slightly change my image, turns out I just realized that I subconsciosly have taken a lot of inspiration from your image, my idea is to put a picture of me in a corner and have the “mundos del frikismo “ float over my hand like, I was holding an universe (of solar system ) or just contemplating different worlds floating through space and just Now I noticed that the theme of an universe and round symbols for games are part of your image(well in your case it’s one game in the void in my case it would be several games floating around like planets) , I Wanted to know your opinion should I stop with my idea or should I move no with it, your opinión is important to me and if you don’t like it I will be doing something else
Hey Dominic! No problem, go right ahead! Your idea is different enough, between the Void and the Planets there is more than enough of a difference that it will not feel weird in any way, I don't think. I like your idea by the way, and cool that it was maybe subcontiously inspired in my thumbnails :D. Go ahead dude, best of luck! And I really appreciate that you came to me before doing it, just because you thought it could be interpreted as copying or something like that, even though it isn't really it seems.👍
@@FromTheVoidGames I wouldn’t call it as much coyright since that for me implies legal action it has to do with respect for your as a person and your work , thanks a lot, realy apreciate it
Some very nice games in this video!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more soon! :D
Chart don't mean much dude. Switch has lot indies cause can't run 4k 60 games. I see indies on sale all time. Ive bought tons of best indies >5 $ games.
Got get bog games now it seems xbox bought half good studios since they suck at Makin games..
Grow Home is awesome.
Yeah! I only played it recently, its wonderful!
Shame in Sony !
Monkey king sucks. I got the platinum. But no it's a weird game.
Is there a reason the majority of the games you showcase are female protagonists?
Life of Black Tiger?
lol, that famously bad game? Yeah, if I ever do a "worst PS4 games" I'll probably include that one :D. Thanks for watching!
@@FromTheVoidGames Mate, I've seen a ton of "hidden gem" lists for older consoles with stuff I played back in the day that was TERRIBLE, even back then.
Don't be surprised a few years from now when Life of Black Tiger is gonna be top 15 underappreciated gems on the ps4 hahahahhaha
People are daft.
@@shocknawe lol. I hope none of those terrible games were on this list :D
Lol calling journey to the west obscure is funny, it’s the Chinese equivalent to the bible
Sony isnt problem the games and devs r trash thats the problem And the devs do nothing to promote their games i love when scammers like game devs cry Sony this Sony that
Some devs even cried about Sony requiring a trailer that represents what the actual PlayStation version will look like
Seems that's a problem for companies that try to pass let's say the high end computer version for easier sales
Seraph needs to be on disc for we collectors !
It would be great! They could also port it over to other systems, the game is great.
Bad games are bad games. Niche games are exactly that. They sell so well on switch because it's has no games 🤷🏻♂️
