Never understood why games like Vikings, Remember Me, Anarchy Reigns, Ninety-Nine Nights 1/2, Gun or Spyro aren't backwards-compatible on modern Xbox consoles. The last 2 are even owned by Activision which are now owned by MicroSoft. Ninety-Nine Nights was even published by MicroSoft games. Regardless, there's nothing in thse games as far as licensing's concerned, that need to be renegotiated. At worst, they could make them back-compat via disc-only -- something of an option MicroSoft ought to consider, especially if they allowed the Xbox community access to the emulator's files & gamers who own these 360 (& og Xbox) to download these & other titles.
Remember me was suggested to me in one of my Xbox 360 videos. Within the first ten minutes you can tell the game is special. I have no idea what critics were thinking you could release this same game now and it would get incredible praise. I can see the memory bits being a little tedious but that’s about it
I was the opposite I saw the trailer and read the reviews and thought they are all wrong. that game cannot be this flawed So I ended up buying it as soon as the price dropped back then 😅
Both Remember Me and Darkstar One just went on sale for $1.99, while Choplifter HD is $2.49. NNN2 is $7.49. Anna and Rocket Riot also dropped this week.
Episodes Three & Four of Penny Arcade Adventures were on X360 years ago but sadly only on the now defunct XBLIG, who remembers XBLIG, when Microsoft had an entire dedicated Live Indie platform!
I love these videos!! Adding another comment to help the algorithm, your hard work does not go unnoticed! Recently picked up and started “Remember Me” on 360. Played it back on the day on PS3 (it was a plus title!) and it really does hold up well, especially the world-building and soundtrack.

Lol, me too. I'm also holding off on buying many games hoping they will get discounts. Meanwhile anything may get delisted and physicals keep getting more expensive. Tough to be poor. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video!
Honestly most of the sale games are not that great. There’s a few decent ones here and there. After seeing what’s been available on the first 2 sales, I decided I’m just gonna buy most of mine for full price right now.
@@Gawlakman hold on, check the recent sale lost cause a few on my list were on sale. We still have 1 more sale next month too so be diligent about which you’re buying
A personal recommendation I have is Happy Tree Friends False Alarm. Especially if you ever enjoyed watching the series you're gonna like this game. It's also not backwards compatible with Xbox One.
Thank you for shouting out Anarchy Reigns! I see who your favorite character is! 😀 Two other great things about it are BAYONETTA is a DLC playable character, and even if you can't find anyone online you can use bots! I haven't played it yet but I got a copy and I'll get down with it one day. The rap music is incredible just like the prequel Mad World before it. So one weird thing, it's possible the character designs and gameplay inspired OverWatch, Rebel Taxi touched on this in his Anarchy Reigns review. But the most important thing is you can play as BAYONETTA!
Dude, definetly my absolute favorite in this list is Anarchy Reigns. And Fei Rin is awesome! I have yet to play Mad World, I have it for the Wii, will try that out for sure. Interesting that this may have inspired OverWatch! I can totally see the resemblance specially in the characters models style. Definetly possible.
Great video. I’d like to see more non-backwards compatible stuff that is Xbox 360 exclusive. All these cross gen with ps3 ones I can just get later on the ps3 store, not priority with the 360 store closure.
Yes, finally people noticing these games, I have most of these I got early this year it's so many hidden gems💎. I love Anarchy Reigns it's one my favorite gem I got so far and the DLC guest character "Bayonetta" what got me 😉
If possible, maybe you could go over the DLC for Bullet Witch and which ones to buy and which ones to avoid. Also there are a couple fighting games that are non-backward compatible that you might want to go over: Fatal Fury Special and Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting are 360 exclusives while Street Fighter Third Strike Online Edition and DarkStalkers Resurrection are available on 360 and PS3.
You sure about fatal fury special and street fighter 2 hyper fighting? I looked those up and fatal fury appears to be available on a lot of systems and street fighter I don’t see anything on Wikipedia that says it’s 360 exclusive
@@Gawlakman The both of them can be played online and they're the only ones on 360 that can be played online. Yes, they are on other systems but these two have online play exclusively on the 360.

You can no longer transfer from PS3 to PSP. You need to buy on PS3, then log in to PSN on PSP and go to your downloads list. Since the closure revert and subsequent closure of the legacy online browser store, the last purchase might appear before the first download on the list.
Hey OM19_MO79! I tested this after they closed the PSP store and it worked. It's been a while so I'll try again soon to be sure. But that time I didn't have to log in to the PSP PSN to get the game. The transfer happened via USB cable and it simply transferred the game straight to the PSP dashboard. This method you mentioned is the one that happens with transferring from PS3 to Vita. I appreciate your selection, but I don't think the problem is "reviewers were too harsh/unfair" every single game. I just think you take 6s and 7s as insults when it just means they are ok games. Don't worry that much about what reviewers said, you can enjoy 6s and 7s
Thanks man, glad you like the selection of games! oh absolutely. I love 6s and 7s. They are mostly what I feature in this channel all the time 😅. Many of the games on this list got scores below 5 though. Venetica and the Ninety Nine Night games for instance. But even for 6s or so, I take issue with the words the reviewers use to justify the scores. Those of us who don't see 6 as bad will read the review when a game gets a 6 right? I do anyway. But then I see all kinds of unprofessionalism in the review itself. For instance, in the Remember Me review from IGN, the justification for the Mediocre (their word) score of 5.9 is, and I quote: "ultimately, it failed to challenge or excite me as a game" due mostly to "unremarkable combat". Emphasis on the word ME there. It failed to excite that guy, but the aspects he found unremarkable others found pretty cool, myself included. So he is not differentiating problems with the game that are bad for everyone, such as bugs, crashes, and other less obvious issues, to aspects that HE dislikes but others would even find great. If you haven't played Remember Me, you can see my footage for that game in this video, does that look unremarkable? I don't think so. Through that review he makes the game sound like it would be a fart in the wind. Nothing to bother about. That's just not true. This is to me the difference between personal opinion reviews versus professional opinion reviews, which take in consideration that the game may be a much better fit to a person with different prefereneces to the critic. He never acknowledges that such a person exists, thats what I don't like and why I find them underrated. I didn't say any of this in the video, so your remark is totally justifiable. In my scripts I always write that kind of thing but end up discarding it so that the video doesn't get too long. I will try adding more of that kind of perspective, so I appreciate your input!
That's sad. I find it sad you didn't mention just how good the OST to Anarchy Reigns is. It is nutty just how good that game's OST really is especially if you're editing or making art. It isn't too often we see industrial type music in games these days mixed in with rap and hip-hop.
Hey Scott! Dude, it's totally awesome. Should have mentioned it, yo are right, my bad. At least I featured one of the songs there to ilustrate, I think it spoke for itself a bit :D

@@FromTheVoidGames lol for sure. Ive grabbed a couple but Im hoping Anarchy Reigns goes on sale. Great vids man you've done the most work and you know your sht.
Of course you can disagree with reviews, they are just opinions. It is not a case of critics not realising there are different tastes, as a reviews as their opinion. So if they didn't like it, it is valid.
This is an interesting conversation. So, in my view there are 2 entirely different approaches to reviewing. A review can be a personal opinion, or it can be a professional opinion. Those are different. Of course both will have the personal input from the reviewer themselves, but when it comes to recommending or not recommending a game, which is usually done in the closing bit and specially in the scoring of the game, I think a professional opinion serves the public much better. A professional opinion requires the reviewer to have a firm grasp on the industry as a whole so that they can fully understand the difference between an issue in the game that is negative for everyone, like bugs or the game crashing for instance, but many other less obvious things too, and an issue that only a portion of the audience will dislike while the other portion will even prefer. I think this is what makes a review much more invaluable to the public compared to a purely personal review. I'll give you an example: the game I Am Alive. This is a survival game with a whole bunch of survival gameplay mechanisms, such as psychological manipulation by pointing a gun at an unarmed enemy, a stamina bar while climbing that may lead to death, and many more. The IGN reviewer, which so happened to be Greg Miller by the way, hated the game and gave it a 4.5. His tastes in games have been made very public since then. He likes action focused games, and dislikes hard games, he is open about that, and its 100% ok that those are his tastes. But that 4.5 score is almost entirely based on these personal tastes, because those aspects that made the game bad for him are the very same that would create a much more interesting game to someone who is interested in a deep survival feeling from a game, who likes a game to be challenging, who likes a more methodical approach to combat as opposed to a more action oriented one (not to say that someone has to like only one of these approaches, I like both. A lot!), and many other preferences. As someone who likes all these things I can say with full confidence this is not a 4.5, no way. Now, given all that, I ask you: isn't it a diservice to the public writ large and to the game itself to give a survival game a bad score like that that fails to acknowledge that it is an awesome fit exactly to the hardcore survivial audience? I think it totally is. That's not to say that the personal opinion style of review doesn't have its value. But it requires the public to know the critic. Right? If you already know you have the same preferences as Greg, you see a 4.5 score from him and you are safe to completly dismiss that game. But I can't see how that's better for the public in a general sense. I really think the professional approach is much better and more responsible.
@@FromTheVoidGames thanks for your well formulated answer. I have been a game critic for over ten years. I don't think there is a difference between professional or personal reviews, they are always personal. You have a point though, that all reviewers should give all the games a fair shake. Reviewing games from a genre you don't like to begin with is pointless. Of course we do report on bugs and such, but to what extent they spoil the game, widely varies. So I don't think there really is something like underrating a product, unless the reviewer himself (or herself) thinks so later on. I think it is better to speak about games you like, that often got low critical scores.
Well said from the void! Yes you could continue to review games from a completely personal aspect but over time if people follow your reviews they're going to learn to not trust you and decide that your reviews are not very good unless they happen to share your very narrow Viewpoint of what makes a good game good or not. Personally I appreciate a gamer/critic who can say that I didn't really like this game but for people who are into this style of game it's a very good one. So many massively underrated games that I keep finding on different channels and thought they were worthless because reviewers who had their head up their ass or who didn't actually play the game, said it was terrible.
Greeting Arthur , and here I thought I had a firm grap on what is on the 360 and I don't know half of them 😅 PS: Darkstar alliance is comming to new sistems ( just a while before you posted your video I saw it on the next releases tab from the switch )
Good list also Dust and Bastion aren't part of the backwards list although I you've talked about them for other systems. Also, Dark Sector the spiritual predecessor to Warframe and Space Marine WH40k both decent shooters count. Practical all of the Dynasty Warriors Games count. Also, Anarchy Reigns actually has or will had Bayonetta as DLC you can play in the other than story modes thou all of the dlc is multiplayer related. Also, N3 1 & 2 have or will had dlc that's locked behind Xbox Gold which of I'm not mistaken was renamed.
Will had? That's unnecessary. Also, Anarchy Reigns has 1 other piece of DLC that adds modes/levels to the multiplayer. Ninety-Nine Nights 1 has no additional DLC. The second game, however, has 3 pieces of DLC, and I believe it's all multiplayer related. One last note you NEVER needed an Xbox Live Gold account to download DLC. You needed Gold maybe to get certain sales when they were active but that's it.

obscure ≠ rare You are talking about "rare" which makes sense in a "limited supply" sorta way (which like you mention is irrelevant for digital games since there is no "supply"). "Obscure" just means it's not known about, so there are PLENTY of digital games that can be obscure, even if they aren't rare.

Hey Dominic! Wow, what a coincidence that Darkstar news dropping recently. Its up for pre-order there now. Cool.
Tip: Don't listen to anything IGN has to say
Yeah, have been getting more and more sure of that too, lol
@@CrankyMoogle I admit I was in a hurry when I wrote that post so it's or was a mess Will had referred to future tense due the shutdown of the marketplace. And Some items on rare occasions were and still are locked behind gold it just rare to find them is all.

Bullet Witch is soooo bad
How can a digital only game be obscure? 😂. Cmon mate... If it's digital, it's available to all.. Not obscure...
obscure ≠ rare
You are talking about "rare" which makes sense in a "limited supply" sorta way (which like you mention is irrelevant for digital games since there is no "supply"). "Obscure" just means it's not known about, so there are PLENTY of digital games that can be obscure, even if they aren't rare.
Watching your videos I learn something new all of the time ⏲️😌 😮
Cool, glad you are enjoying them!
You are awesome 👌 👏 👍
