Great suggestions, I bought a lot of these already. Nice point about the WipEout HD/Fury DLC is also that it's completely free on vita if you own HD/Fury on PS3. As a bonus suggestion I also recommend the motorstorm pacific rift speed/adrenaline DLC. A bit pricy at $9,99 each but it's 3 more tracks with each expansion and exclusive to PS3 so well worth it in my opinion.
So happy to see you're still making these, even when PSN stores aren't shutting down! Totally forgot about InFamous: Festival of Blood, I really need to pick that up soon!
Now that the Xbox 360 store is closing in 2 months, almost 3 years after this video dropped, it is more relevent than ever because you were thoughtful enough and had the foresight to provide which systems these DLCs were available for. Thank you so much because I fear the PS3 net is not far behind (For real this time). Thanks for another great video! These have been really helpful! However, I would like to note that Wipeout 2048 as well as Wipeout HD and Wipeout Fury are all available as part of the Wipeout Omega Collection on PS4! So unless you want portability, IMO the PS4 version would be the version to get.
Big WipEout fan here, WipEout HD is actually also available in the WipEout Omega collection for the PS4. With that said it's still worth having WO HD on the go. Great video!

Quick Correction: Darius Burst Chronicle Saviour (and all its DLC) is crossbuy! When I bought it for the Vita, I have the option to download to PS4 (which I don't own). So that should take the edge off the eye-watering price... a little.

If anyone doesn't have Heavy Rain already, the Director's Cut is sometimes cheaper than the original release and includes the DLC along with some other extras like a few dynamic xmb themes.
Nice! It seems you like Strategy RPGs, if you made a video focusing on your favorites I'd be interested to see which you think are worth while. For me FFT is still my favorite, but I also really enjoyed XCOM 1 and 2. Sadly I couldn't get into FFTA or FFTA2, they just didn't have the mature story of the original and the battles felt streamlined a bit too much for playing on to go. There are tons of others I've never tried though, like Tactics Ogre. I have a VITA so I might check out "Let us Cling Together."
Hey Alexander! Yes I do :D very much. My favorite tactical RPG is for sure Ogre Battle 64. It's very different from the FFTactics games, you do a sort of real time strategy, you send out troops and they all walk around at the same time and intercept enemies and all that, its pretty awesome. Hard to get into though, steep learning curve I think. But hey, great idea for a video, dude! Will consider for sure! Put it on my list of plans :D Thanks!
Yeah, I know how it is. I actually had to purchase a bigger sized Hard Drive. Went for the 500GBs. If you are interested, just look up a SATA 5400 rpm (any HD with those specfications will work on the PS3). they go for fairly cheap nowadays, and its easy to switch your old HD on PS3, no need to open the system, very user friendly, specially if you have one of the slim PS3 versions. :D just in case you really want to get some more digital games or DLCs.

Yeaah, let's gooo! I'm overjoyed to be getting close to 1K! Yeah, there could have been a workaround to not use the sixaxis for the absorptions in folklore. forced motion controls always have that kind of problem.

I saw another video say this so I'm going to assume this is a US thing: NONE of the DLC for Metal Gear rising is free in Europe. Can't remember exactly now but the Jetstream and Robot dog DLC are between 5€ and 7€ each.

Yeah, I think they had the intention of making a series of DLCs to Heavy Rain, but for internal issues had to scrap it after the first one. So they kinda decided to hide this one DLC not even including it with the re-releases.
They are different type of games, so it really depends on your preferences. The PS4 is more of an action RPG style, not Musou style like the 2 games on the PS3. They are all positive games in my opinion, but I think that the PS4 one is even better :D

I have a question though.. I don't own a ps4 or ps5 console right now, just my ps3. So if i buy digital games from the ps3 psn, will i be able to play them all on my ps4 or ps5 in the future?
Unfortunately no. There may be a very small number that cross over from PS3 to PS4, so you can buy only once, but I am not eve sure of that. I know that many cross between PS3 and Vita, but PS4 I'm sure it's a small number or none at all even.

Right. Whatever you didn't buy will be unavailable forever once the stores close. If the game is not available anywhere else other than the PS3, your only alternative will be to emulate the game along with the DLC, which can be a very painful process or even impossible depending on the game. Bought pixies revenge at release....turned out I had a UK version of odysee which was different from the EU version and couldnt use the dlc I bought -_- So fair warning to anyone buying the DLC pay attention to the region of your game!

I think in the EU/UK store Enslaved's DLC can only be obtained by buying the Premium Digital Edition as it was delisted a while ago. (Somebody correct me if i am wrong)
I'll let you in on a secret because I like your videos, but there is a way using fire fox you can access an earlier version of the PS store. It's an exploit but only a few people know about it so far, keep it on the down low.

@@FromTheVoidGames Yeah it's a great thing and I used it to buy Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together, which is great because it wasn't on the normal EU store, and it's x4 the price for a physical copy. I don't want to give too much press to it in case Sony fix it though. Works 100% though when I used it.
This was super helpful and will be definitely picking a few of these dlc up. But I'm having a problem with MGS4's dlc work around, it gives me a network server error and won't let me grab the dlc. Anyone have a fix?
Glad to be of help, James! If you already did the DNS part and got into the Extras in the MGS4 menu, the first item on the DLC list is not an actual DLC and if you click on it it gives an error.

Only asking because I tried downloading it years ago while I was at college, but there were some network issues that prevented me from connecting, even though I was still able to play online with other games and download from the PSN store. Once I was home on my own router it worked just fine. So it could have something to do with your router or modem settings?

I meant to include it, I swear, even did the research and all, but I never played Spider Man 3, and didn't want to push back this video so to get the footage for the new goblin, which is only playable later in the game from what I could gather (could be wrong about this). 38:45 Does anyone know how to access the actual Metal Gear Solid 4 Database (couldn't find clear info online)??? I used this IP address trick to get the camos and audio but how do you get the database itself? Through the game? Is it a separate app?
So, the database is in the PS Store itself. Its the only one they didn't take down. After you get it through the store it will be in your games dashboard.

I checked both Bladewolf and Jetstream Sam 1 week ago and they were free. Maybe it's a region thing? Or maybe you are talking about the VR missions or the other add-on armors? I will give it a double check soon.
Yeah, it's what I thought, it's a region thing. In Europe these are 9.99 and 6.99 (euros) while in NA they are both free! That's insane! I am so sorry. I really wanted to check all the differences between the regions, but the scope of the video was already too big, it was taking too long. I will really strive to include these differences in future videos.

Crazy tho how this game shot up in price. I was lucky to get it cheap and complete in bow last year while hunting GameStop online for old ps3 games. Now i can see it being sold at above $70 at least. Jeezus. This and the PUPPETEER, which I got for $5, is now being sold at &100. So crazy.

Yeah, I think they had the intention of making a series of DLCs to Heavy Rain, but for internal issues had to scrap it after the first one. So they kinda decided to hide this one DLC not even including it with the re-releases.
Would you recommend the first two Kens Rage games on PS3 or the newest one on PS4?
They are different type of games, so it really depends on your preferences. The PS4 is more of an action RPG style, not Musou style like the 2 games on the PS3. They are all positive games in my opinion, but I think that the PS4 one is even better :D

I have a question though.. I don't own a ps4 or ps5 console right now, just my ps3. So if i buy digital games from the ps3 psn, will i be able to play them all on my ps4 or ps5 in the future?
Unfortunately no. There may be a very small number that cross over from PS3 to PS4, so you can buy only once, but I am not eve sure of that. I know that many cross between PS3 and Vita, but PS4 I'm sure it's a small number or none at all even.

Yeah, severed is weird because Dead Space 2 is a great game, so having a way to expand the gamepplay felt very welcome, but story/scenario wise its clearly inferior to the actual game. Right. Whatever you didn't buy will be unavailable forever once the stores close. If the game is not available anywhere else other than the PS3, your only alternative will be to emulate the game along with the DLC, which can be a very painful process or even impossible depending on the game. Bought pixies revenge at release....turned out I had a UK version of odysee which was different from the EU version and couldnt use the dlc I bought -_-

I think in the EU/UK store Enslaved's DLC can only be obtained by buying the Premium Digital Edition as it was delisted a while ago. (Somebody correct me if i am wrong)
I'll let you in on a secret because I like your videos, but there is a way using fire fox you can access an earlier version of the PS store. It's an exploit but only a few people know about it so far, keep it on the down low.

@@FromTheVoidGames Yeah it's a great thing and I used it to buy Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together, which is great because it wasn't on the normal EU store, and it's x4 the price for a physical copy. I don't want to give too much press to it in case Sony fix it though. Works 100% though when I used it.
This was super helpful and will be definitely picking a few of these dlc up. But I'm having a problem with MGS4's dlc work around, it gives me a network server error and won't let me grab the dlc. Anyone have a fix?
Try turning on the 2-step verification security setting
Glad to be of help, James! If you already did the DNS part and got into the Extras in the MGS4 menu, the first item on the DLC list is not an actual DLC and if you click on it it gives an error.

Only asking because I tried downloading it years ago while I was at college, but there were some network issues that prevented me from connecting, even though I was still able to play online with other games and download from the PSN store. Once I was home on my own router it worked just fine. So it could have something to do with your router or modem settings?

I meant to include it, I swear, even did the research and all, but I never played Spider Man 3, and didn't want to push back this video so to get the footage for the new goblin, which is only playable later in the game from what I could gather (could be wrong about this). 38:45 Does anyone know how to access the actual Metal Gear Solid 4 Database (couldn't find clear info online)??? I used this IP address trick to get the camos and audio but how do you get the database itself? Through the game? Is it a separate app?
So, the database is in the PS Store itself. Its the only one they didn't take down. After you get it through the store it will be in your games dashboard.

Metal gear rising revengence dlc aren’t free. They’re 10€
I checked both Bladewolf and Jetstream Sam 1 week ago and they were free. Maybe it's a region thing? Or maybe you are talking about the VR missions or the other add-on armors? I will give it a double check soon.
Yeah, it's what I thought, it's a region thing. In Europe these are 9.99 and 6.99 (euros) while in NA they are both free! That's insane! I am so sorry. I really wanted to check all the differences between the regions, but the scope of the video was already too big, it was taking too long. I will really strive to include these differences in future videos.

yes I saw that after posting the video. I apologise for not checking all differences such as this one for each region. I really meant to do that, but the scope of the video was getting too big and I gave up on this detail. But I regret doing this. Crazy tho how this game shot up in price. I was lucky to get it cheap and complete in bow last year while hunting GameStop online for old ps3 games. Now i can see it being sold at above $70 at least. Jeezus. This and the PUPPETEER, which I got for $5, is now being sold at &100. So crazy.
