Good review as usual Jill. And I agree with you, that grill looks like a Lexus grill. Which I never cared for. But there is no doubt, Buick has really stepped it up.
At 45K starting, we’re talking above Toyota Highlander Hybrid territory and at 23 MPG average we’re talking a 10+ MPG hit compared to the Toyota. The Buick sure looks nice but I’m sure it’s not going to sell well.
You can supposedly change the colors and appearance of Applecarplay in its (settings), you can keep it darker than normal in (Always Dark Mode) and in (Appearance) you can change the (Wallpaper) . You can also Hide the pictures (Album Art), turn off (Suggestions), etc.
The Enclave, Acadia, and Traverse are all the same except for trim and interior tweaks. No rear window shades and no ventilated rear seats which many upscale competitors now have. GM has a challenge selling buyers on the reliability of the turbo 4 engine and direct injection. The resale of these will crash if there is any weakness divulged in the drivetrain. GM has extended the warranty on the 2.7 version of this engine in trucks and doing the same for this 2.5 version would show their confidence in their decision to take this route on these SUV’s instead of keeping the V6 available. As of now the V6 is still available in the Cadillac XT5 and XT6 although they are smaller.
I’ve watched a few vids reviewing this vehicle and the engine is just chatty at idle and noisy in motion. If I have to be subjected to that much noise, for the money I’d go with. Toyota Highlander or Grand Highlander hybrid.
On the face of it, I think my VW Atlas is a better value. I can't see anything that is that much higher quality in the video (or at the dealer in person) to command the higher price (for similar equipment). I don't car with Google/Apple looks like. I'll probably never even use it. I will say that I would prefer to have the vehicle without the wireless charger. Wired is still faster and cheaper (note the option price on vehicles that have wireless charging separate).
Buick has 4 SUVs in its lineup and they all look the same. Only the size is different. Furthermore, the design is reminiscent of the older model Ford Escape or the Honda HR-V. Buick used to have some innovative designs. No longer. And, this premium brand is no longer worth the premium price. You do great reviews Jill but this vehicle is not worth the time you invested in it.
2025 Buick Enclave for US and Canadian sales is being manufactured at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly facility in Michigan, China makes some for sales in that country.
I saw one of these on the road the other day. The 80 year old driver nearly hit me!

This lady knows cars . Great review 👍

Buick is also run by China, the puny encore is actually built in China
My 2006 chevy truck with cloth seats had auto down both front windows lol
Jill is a gangster rap kinda girl, when she's not blasting the harmonic death metal..lol.
Just jokin ya, Jill.
I think overall it looks pretty good. Shark face on these Buicks now. Looks decent. Although at least on video that 4 cylinder sounds unrefined 👎🏼.
A great rental car.

You can definitely change the wallpaper in settings. It doesn’t help.

Wish the Buick would have kept a V6, Love that engine in my '23 Traverse. Im not a turbo guy so I'll have to figure out what my next vehicle is.
Sadly, those are a dying breed. I wish you luck in your search 🫡
Reminds me of the Lexus fishmouth/Cylon grill that I never cared for so not difficult to know what I think.
What is the material on the seats?
Synthetic leather on ST, leather on Avenir.
nice video jill
What size of normally aspirated V6 does it have?
It doesn't.

Volkswagens are a good value until they self destruct at 40k miles...
Yeah not everyone can work on vw there very pricey on repairs

Fire!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect for soccer mom's !
Are the middle seats removable? I mean, easily, without tools.
That would be great for all the dog owners.
No
What does the vin number start with? If its L, its made in china

No recalls, yet.
The. reason that they don’t do automatic up on the rear window is safety! They don’t want you to accidentally close the window on someone in the back
What about the front passenger?
Looks like a traverse lol
